Mellow Mink is a cool and nice brewery! The interior design is clean and modern and they have such good sour beers. The bartenders were friendly and attentative and everything looks clean and well taken care of. Their sour beers have refreshing notes and strong flavors. They also offer local cider and cocktails as well. It's a Bring your own food place but they also offer small snack. I think Mellow Mink is a great choice if you wanna enjoy a few nice drinks in a quieter environment compare to the usual bars. read more

I had literally the best martini I have ever had in my life here!! If you go, you must try the peanut butter cup martini for $11. It's the best thing I've ever had. I went with 9 others, and several people had it and said it was amazing. I then did a sampler, which totaled $11. The beers are priced individually. I really liked the blood orange and cinnamon fest! Really great place to check out! There is also a huge parking lot so parking isn't an issue. The inside is not very big, we went on a Saturday at like 4:30 and were lucky to get a whole wall of seats. read more

I love love LOVE Mellow Mink. I really enjoy sour beers and they really make some really good ones. You can check out their website to see what's on tap but what I always look for are their small batches that make their appearance for a short amount of time and then leave. Wah. Those items can be seen on their facebook or Instagram. I go in there at least once a week to fill my growler or grab a crowler. The people there are always so welcoming and friendly. I am not sure of the food situation since I never have stayed but I think they partner with Cork & Fork to get some takeout to enjoy there during these crazy times with the rules that go with it. The last sour I tried there was their blueberry cobbler and it literally tasted like I had just put a handful of wild blueberries in my mouth. SO good. read more

We were looking for a safe place to get drinks with friends last weekend and Mellow Mink came to mind. I'm so glad it did. We got food from the Philly Steak and Hoagies place nearby and had a really wonderful time. Mellow Mink is a great, safe option during COVID. As long as you have food (takeout from local restaurants counts!), you can order drinks. Masks must be worn anytime you are away from your table. For drinks, I tried the sour cooler (slushie!) and a few of the beers on tap. I am used to a really sweet slushie (like the wine slushies from SpringGate) and this one was far more on the sour side with little sweetness. Still good, but important to know going in. Wonderful beer in a cozy atmosphere! We almost overlooked this place bc it's in a quiet strip mall. The decor is clean and modern. The little accent light lanterns helped make things feel welcoming. This brewey has the most sour beer offerings I've seen in this area. We got samples of many of the sours and IPAs--all were excellent. The stand-outs for me were the sour patch kids beer and the coconut one. The flavorings are very creative and it is obvious the brewer knows what he's doing. They don't offer a flight per se, but you can get most beers in 4 ounce pours to try. They don't offer much as far as food--a cheese board and charcuterie platter are about it for now. They do have a list and menus of places that deliver via grubhub, which is helpful. Very cool place with top notch beer--I highly recommend, especially if you like sours! read more

Can't say enough good things about this place! The beers and customer service are excellent!! I've been here a number of times and the beers are scrumptious. The small batch beers have a wonderful artisanal touch of thoughtful flavor profiles. My absolute favorite to date is the PB & Pecan oatmeal stout. What a cute swanky joint! I was visiting PA and came to Mellow Mink to grab a cocktail with family. They are doing a great job making sure folks are socially distant. They have about 10ish beers on tap, and they are all things I have never come close to tasting before! I loved their PB&J gose. That one was my favorite. I'm a little shocked that I haven't reviewed this place yet. It's my favorite brewery in Pennsylvania and I only wish I had more opportunities to go here amidst my extremely busy schedule. The owner, Matt, is a pharmacist with degrees in organic chemistry and microbiology which, if you know the most basic concept of how beer is made, should tell you everything you need to know about how outstanding his beer probably is. For the uninitiated: beer is made by fermenting sugar water with either yeast, bacteria, or a combination of the two. Do you understand now why his background makes him the perfect brewer? Firstly, don't let the strange location fool you. While the brewery is located in the most unassuming strip mall in Mechanicsburg, as soon as you step inside you're transported to a decor that's reminiscent of a high class southern cocktail bar from the roaring 20s. It's classy, clean, and spacious. Take a walk around and you'll see some of the barrels that are used for aging the sour beers served here. What's great about this place is that while he caters towards sour beer lovers, Matt has not foresaken the beer drinkers of other styles as there are often several IPAs on draft along with some lagers, stouts, ciders, wines, as well as cocktails using liquor from local distilleries. The staff is always wonderful and you'll often find Matt working right alongside them making sure everyone is having a great time and enjoying the beer. Seriously, if there was a brewery of the year award, and there probably is, this place should win it. If you're not already grabbing your keys to drive over there, we can't be friends. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was almost completely empty. That worried me a little, since the other breweries in the area we stopped at were packed. We ordered 4oz. pours of everything they had on tap. I loved their beer!! Great sours. I see a lot of the bad reviews are from non-sour/saison lovers, if you're picky read the draft lists before you come in. It's really clean(!!) and nice in Mellow Mink. It's not really a brewpub type of setting; seems more modern, but still it's a very nice place to get a drink. Bartender was very friendly. Fantastic sours - the Superfruit was one of the best I've had. I'm usually an IPA guy, but they didn't have any traditional IPAs on tap. Their pale ale was solid, and their take on a Manhattan as a beer was surprisingly good. The bartender was sweet, & I love that they're dog friendly. They usually have about eight drafts on tap as well as canned options and some cocktails and wine. did you have a small selection of finger foods that you can eat, but they also have a list of nearby areas where you can bring food in order delivery and have it brought to the bar. when I also liked was that they have an assortment of board games and such right as you walk into the right so that way you and your friends can just hang out have a good time. The bartender staff was very friendly and welcoming. They offer sizes in 6 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz Thomas I'll give you the option to try multiple things in smaller sizes if you'd like. Very nice brewery! The wrap around bar is spacious and seats comfortably. There are also many tables around the bar! There is a great selection of beers to choose from! I enjoyed the apricot beer! When I visited, they had a nice size list of areal restaurants that would deliver food to you and you could eat other local food inside their premises while enjoying their beers!
