    Amazing pizza!
    Craig F.

Great atmosphere, craft brews and pizza! This was our first visit to the actual brewery as we'd only visited the taproom before. The atmosphere is casual, very welcoming, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Boneshire brewers are producing a nice variety of high quality craft beers, which we greatly enjoyed! We were not disappointed with any that we sampled. Their flagship, Green Machine, is solid and can hold its own against any other beers in PA. They also have options for non-beer drinking guests. One great surprise during our visit was the Pizza! It was incredible and is now added to my list as one of the top 5 pizzas in the HBG area! Yes, it was that good - Crust was perfect with a good balance of sauce and fresh toppings! The customer service welcoming and friendly, chatting with us throughout our visit and treating us like we were frequent visitors. This is definitely a place we could relax and feel welcomed on a regular basis.

Great vibe. Delicious beer and good service. First time here on a Saturday at 3:30, but would definitely come back again. The pizza looked delicious but we didn't order any food. There were 6 of us, 3 got flights and 3 got single beers.

I didn't have the beer here... hear me out though. We are all entitled to our opinion, right? I've been to a ton of breweries in my days, and in addition to that, my husband did have the beer and it was his least favorite on our Harrisburg brew tour. It's located in a strip mall sort of area. The tasting area is pretty small, but there was no one else there. The logo, with a pig is misleading. They do not serve BBQ. They apparently planned to at one time, but currently don't. So don't go there if you're hoping to eat a meal. They do serve pickle flights! I'm a pickle fanatic, so you better believe I got me one of each. They were fantastic!! So what's my deal? Those were the most expensive pieces of pickles I've ever had! Seriously, calling them a pickle spare was an understatement. When he sat the trays in front of me, they were so small, I thought it was a joke... you know, like you would feel if someone opened a bag of chips and only gave you one? Yes, I was a fan of the tastes of pickles that I got, but they don't even sell them there, it's a local pickle company.

Nice selection of beer and pizza. They have some TV's up on the wall so that you can watch sports. You go up to the front counter to place your order and then your order is brought to you. The staff was average and the environment is a little loud but nothing crazy. I would go here again if I just wanted to grab a quick beer or a quick bite to eat.

A neat little brewery tucked into an unsuspecting neighborhood of Harrisburg. It doesn't look like much when you pull up to the storefront in a strip mall with a temporary sign hung out front, however, once you enter, you will find a tastefully decorated tasting room with a great open view to the brewery itself. The staff was very helpful in guiding to the appropriate style of beer, and was more than happy to share their knowledge of the Harrisburg beer scene. My dad and I visited and got two flights, with each of their 7 beers and one of the guest taps. My favorite was the Que Será, a Belgian strong ale. There were several other good beers, including an apricot saison, the sales of which are helping to fund a local documentary about craft beer in Harrisburg. Overall well worth a visit, and I hope to be back on a future trip to Harrisburg.

Visited here with my college alumni group. I'm not a big beer drinker, but found one I enjoyed after having a few samples which were generously offered. The have wine too, but not a big selection. The location is in a run-down stop mall, but Boneshire itself is not run down. It's not fancy either, but certainly clean and nice enough! I like the idea of them providing various games for people to play... cool idea!! Had the pleasure of meeting one of the brewmasters who gave us some insight about Boneshire. The BBQ was good and I piled cole slaw on top, then added some extra BBQ sauce... yummy! In summary, a cool place. Not my 'number one go to' cuz I'm not into beer that much; however, I would definitely go back.

This is a new brewery in the area and I love it. Its located in a run down strip mall which is kind of random but they did a great job on the inside making it so clean and nice that you'd never know you're sitting in a run down strip mall on Derry street. They have a nice selection of their own beers available as well as other "visiting" local brews too. I like the collaboration there. You can have a sampler, a small, or a large size beer or you can get a growler fill. I tried their version of a wheat beer. Very smooth and easy to drink! Maybe too easy to drink. They don't have a kitchen but they do provide food from a BBQ catering and also had some fudge from Fudge-o-lutley. Again loving the local collaboration! We had dinner plans but I was starving so I tried the Chicken on a stick. It was smoked and juicy and just the right thing to hold me over till we hit dinner. Like I said its a cute environment. You can see the brewing area behind the bar and the tables and chairs are plentiful. There are cute lights hanging up throughout and tvs playing. There's a shelf with some games there so you can hang out with your friends, play a game and enjoy some beers. I saw another table grab a pizza from next door and enjoy it with their beer. They're cool with that and that's cool by me! I'll be back. I am anxious to see what more they put out!

Wasn't the biggest fan at first but recently really enjoying their selection! Great atmosphere and quick, friendly service which is a huge plus. Tried but the caucus 2.0 (very good ipa for a non ipa lover) and pinapple hefenwiezen (3 flavors of hefe?!?) which were great!! Can't wait to see what else they bring out!

    Jared S.

I probably drove by it 100 times without realizing where this bas was. The bar is really just a room with tables.....but the beer is great and utilizing old school entertainiment skills by providing board games like Monopoly for the patrons to enjoy. It works! High volume alcohol will do that.

I ordered a flight to sample their beers and ended up ordering a sample of meade as part of it since they were out of at least two beers I wanted to try. I get it, they're a small brewery, but still frustrating that most of what was available were more exotic styles that I don't try until I know a brewery does the basics well. The other interesting part of the experience was that the bar staff couldn't find an opener for wine (Pinot Grigio) that my companion ordered. She settled for another style of white from an open bottle. Staff was atttentive and the brewery's interior was nicely maintained, with the usual exposed brewtanks/industrial vibe. Didn't try the food but will do so in an eventual return visit.

But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row. We started with the elote potatoes after my wife had an espresso martini. The potatoes are almost like a street corn potatoes and is charred and crispy. It was excellent and a fantastic start. For entrees I had the crab pasta and she had the Mediterranean chicken bowl. Let's start with the pasta- legit homemade and outstanding. I never get crab dishes outside of Maryland. Our server said it was one of their most popular and I see why. It has a little spice and is in a rose sauce. As good as it was the pasta really is the star. My wife's chicken bowl was everything. She loves on a plate. It was fresh, clean, and scrumptious. She ate the entire thing and the portions were large. The chicken was perfect. Seasoned and cooked to expert levels. She will obsess over this dish for a while. Simple but amazing. We finished with dessert. A piece of chocolate cake that when it arrived you would think it was a quarter of the cake. It was rich but not sweet. The milk raspberry crunch was totally different. I do not care for raspberry but ate this and really enjoyed it. So I give it a 10/10 on food and service. We live an hour away and will find a reason to come back. The best part was we walked out with all this food, great service, and a bottle of win and the price was $169. I think the value is there and I hope this place thrives.

Our waitress was not only attentive, but genuinely helpful--honest, informative, and confident in her recommendations. Since there's no drink menu, she guided us toward what they do best, including the espresso martini. I appreciated the direction... but the drink itself didn't quite match the expectation. I was hoping for something silky, rich, and indulgent--almost dessert-like--but it landed closer to a pre-mixed version. Not bad, just not memorable. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced, which makes it approachable without sacrificing variety. Now, the highlight--my Black n' Bleu Delmonico, cooked medium. This dish delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the bleu cheese garlic butter added a savory, melt-in-your-mouth richness that made each bite better than the last. It paired beautifully with the soft baked sweet potato--simple, comforting, and exactly what it needed to be. We started with loaded fries, and honestly... dangerously addictive. Crispy, flavorful, and the kind of appetizer you keep reaching for without realizing how much you've eaten. My husband went with the surf and turf--filet mignon and lobster tail. The lobster was a standout: buttery, tender, and cooked just right. The filet, though cooked to his liking, lacked seasoning and depth. It needed more intention--something to bring it to life beyond just butter. Overall, Gilligan's nails what matters most for a place like this--great atmosphere, strong service, and food that has real moments of excellence.
