They serve a lot of unique beers that are blasting with flavor, including the Tripel, Annville IPA, sWheat tart series with flavors such as Tangerine, Grapefruit, Blackberry Passionfruit, and- Beer slushies?! I really enjoyed the Tripel, but my favorite may have been the Cotton Candy Snow Cone sour (I was holding their last 4-pack when a few people stopped in to buy it- oops!) The staff here were super friendly and answered all of my questions. They're new and still growing, and I can't wait to see what kinds of beers they'll brew in the future. One thing is for sure though- you can count on the fact that they will always be working on and brewing something new!

We used to take the kids here, there was something for everybody and a fun atmosphere. Fast forward a few years and this place has really gone downhill. Three staff was all very young and seemed to be in a rush. OK - we can deal with that, although it wasn't even as crowded as usual on a Sunday night. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (which was listed under handhelds), with the "chilli mango coleslaw" option. We also had a pork belly sandwich and smash burger for our toddler. We weren't given an option to get that medium and wete told "it just comes one way" "because it's smashed". Other restaurants always ask you how you want your burgers even if it's listed as a smash but ok - I can also live with this. The last thing we ordered we a Buffalo chicken wedge salad to share. It ended up being our undoing for the evening and the straw that broke the camels back. The "Nashville" chicken sandwich was a greasy, thin slice of completely unseasoned chicken. It wasn't spicy like it said, it was pretty soft and soggy instead of crunchy, and was totally unsalted. It was worse than when I was doing no salt from a high bp diet post partum. :( the bread fell apart and was sopping wet... I guess from some pickles and lettuce on the bottom of the sandwich? It was anything but handheld and so I ended up just scraping what chicken off I could and leaving the rest. My "chili mango" coleslaw had no mango, no spice, and was just regular plain, unsalted cole slaw. I recieved 2 teaspoons of this in a plastic cup on the side and regretted not ordering the fries instead, which looked to be a good portion size on my husbands entreé. My food order was terrible overall. 0/10 My husband said he liked his sandwich. The fries were a 6/10 because they were crunchy but they were cold. Our kids menu smash burger was all grease, and came well done. Our kid ate a few fries and they were less greasy. 3/10 The worst part of the meal was the salad... The Buffalo chicken was tasty, but the whole salad was onions and sopping in dressing. We then found a black molded rotten tomato and honestly we were sick to our stomachs after that. Like I was insisting the salad at that point and ended up finding that but what else did we already eat that was just totally rotten ?? 2/10 only for the chicken salvaging the flavor for this dish. When we told the waitress that this was distressing, like we came out to get our of the house with our baby and this was the meal (so disappointing) she did not automatically offer to take the rotten salad off the bill. We asked her to please remove it, and to her credit she did so after putting us in an awkward position to have to ask at all. We liked that this place supports local artists. Special right now was Pagash, a Pierogi style pizza from NEPA. Mashed Potato, onion, cheese. It had great flavor. The star of the show was their breadstix. I could've downed like 10 of these. Light, fluffy, good size, just all around great! TVs were everywhere! The environment was awesome to watch a game. Huge 4 screen tv in the back room. The old vault serves as their merchandise area and the safety deposit boxes in the vault are used for their membership items. Multiple taps are flowing on a regular basis and offer a nice variety from IPAs to Porters.   In addition to their craft beer, they serve Hidden Still spirits for cocktails.  The food coming out of the kitchen is delicious!  Items are common brew pub items with a tasty culinary spin on them. The buffalo tots are delicious and the Bulgogi cheesesteak hits the spot. The menu isn't large, but focuses on quality items.  Daily specials are offered also. Lindgren's offers $1 off pints on Thursdays for teachers and $1 off on Sunday for Military/Veterans. If you are looking for a great stop on the way between HBG and State College take a short detour to Duncannon for a relaxing stop at Lindgren's. You will not be disappointed.

The old kitchen wall was knocked down and all you see is clean stainless steel and a well organized kitchen (which is a welcome change since Hops and Barley). Since moving my buddy into town, we wanted to try out a bunch of different foods to get a feel for the new kitchen. We got the Carne Flatbread, Cajun Black and Blue burger, and the Pasta Alla Toscana. All of them were incredible. My favorite was the Black and Blue burger. Cooked perfectly, and plenty of flavor. Service was friendly and prompt throughout the night.  The food was great and reasonably priced, with the General Tso's Brussels sprouts the star of the show! The truffle fries were also very good. We sampled a variety of items: Appetizers:  Homemade tater tots - tasty, prime rib skewers - cooked perfectly. Entrees - Brisket Cheesesteak - delicious, crab leg special- good portions and cooked just right. Overall everything was spot on in flavor. Beverages are SpringGate wines, beer, and cocktails.  The only real suggestion to enhance the experience would be the lighting, which was not dimmed at a typical restaurant level, but not bright enough either. This could be resolved by small lights on the table or better overhead lights. I highly recommend checking out Chef Tony's and we will be back on a regular basis.

There were very few customers other than the three of us, so it seemed reasonable that we'd at least be greeted at some point. ......nope, never happened. We had walked from the Eagle Hotel/bar and had perfectly fine service there, but thought we'd extend the afternoon nearby. A trusted friend laughed when we said we were going to Chef Tony's and said "good luck......the food is decent, but the service is terrible, so I'll be surprised if you even get to the food". I guess the lesson here is to listen when a trusted friend tries to tell you something. Clearly these are first-world problems and our lives weren't ruined. But we were annoyed and instead of trying another place we just agreed to call it a night because we were now in bad moods. .....it was 5:30pm. The sun was still up, so I did get to plant a few more seeds in my garden when I got home. Plus between the three of us we saved the $100+ we would have spent there. .....and we now know to never go back to Chef Tony's........so here's to looking on the bright side
