    Drinks for all preferences!
    Carly K.

Always a good selection on tap, but glad they have a variety of lighter beers. Line can be long on busy, summer days with only one station to get beer. We like the outdoor seating area, and definitely think a larger beer bar would be nice. The popcorn machine is a great touch and always delicious. Took away a star due to having a happy hour special listed on their website, but when presented to the beer staff was told it wasn't valid ("we haven't had time to update that."). After a bit of a discussion and having to pull up the website with the manager, she honored it for that visit just for my boyfriend.

    Some Oktoberfest accordion playing

This was my first time stepping into the brewery side of spring gate and I definitely plan to be back. We came for their Oktoberfest weekend which was also a bring your own stein night which they'd fill up a growler for you for $5! That's a fun deal. It was also happy hour from 8-10 and our beers were only $3. When we stepped up to order I saw a sign that said "our beer is so good you'll want a whole glass. We do not give samples". I can accept that at $3 a glass but then when we got to the front I said; "I'll try the apple Saison please." Meaning The Whole glass and he gave me a sample! I thought that was so nice. Also he gave the kid in front of us a pretzel and when the mom asked, "how much?" He just waved her off. It's little service touches like that that set a place over the edge for me. As for the beer...eh it's okay. The apple saison was tart and crisp. I tried a Belgian next and I couldn't even finish it. It was too malty for me and almost had a "skunky" taste to it. My husband tried the barley pale ale which he enjoyed and then the cream ale which looked a little discolored and tasted off so he could not drink it. We tried a pretzel. $1 but eh not a good pretzel. It was cold and flavorless. There were also food trucks available that I've tried in the past with the winery and are good but we didn't tonight. Again the service was so good and the prices were so good we just figured this for a bad batch and we're happy to return to try again! We had a great time sitting at a table watching the live music and looking around at the people of all ages dancing and enjoying the night. It really goes to show how atmosphere and service can make a not so good product not be the thing you remember when you leave. The wine, I know, is good for the most part and their beer will get there too.

Quality beer starts with quality Brewers!

Spring Gate Brewery has grown and excelled so much since they opened! When they first started they had 3 beers on tap, which is great for the first steps, but now within a year and half they have a constant 10 beers on tap and 1 in bottle! The quality is top notch, it's evident that the brewers take pride in their work. They are always coming out with new beers, I've seen plenty of variety throughout the changing of the seasons! The Brewery and Winery together have events and festivals every weekend now! So unique for Central Pennsylvania! And they have live music and food trucks on site into the evening every night they are open! (Wednesday-Sunday) The fire pits, live music, and classic games combined with flavorful, craft beer and food trucks make for the perfect night out with friends, family, or your special someone. I'd recommend this Brewery to all my friends! Love this place!

We've been here twice and will continue to support this local winery. Warm weather has outdoor live music and cold weather indoor live music! A family friendly venue! Our grand-daughter says they have the best rootbeer. Many food trucks with plenty of options. Staff is very knowledgeable about the wines.

Took my friend here and she loved it! We have to bring more friends here!

Great vineyard in the area! They have events every weekend. They have great selection in wines and ciders! I will come back soon!

Beer was ok but no tastings. Have to purchase a flight if you want to try something. Very confusing on where to find the different beers.

I went with the white sangria, which was full of different fruits and hit the spot. If you haven't tried the pretzel bites, they are an absolute must! Soft and billowy and tossed in butter, almost leave you speechless. The beer, cheese dip, just enhances the experience! For my meal, I tried the mushroom Smashburger. It was smoky, full of mushroom flavor on a pretzel roll. I would definitely order that again! My friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich and she said it was one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches she has ever had! Our server, Sydney was very helpful with the menu and really enhanced our experience with her outgoing personality! We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening to enjoy some cocktails, a nice meal and they had the fire pit going as well. Check out zeroday, you won't be disappointed.

I've been here several times, both for casual drinks and organized events, and it's consistently a comfortable, relaxed place. The beer selection is excellent and is definitely one of the better local breweries in the area, and the food options complement the drinks nicely. Service can vary depending on how busy it is, but it's generally fine and friendly. The space itself has a clean, modern pub vibe with a good mix of indoor seating and a nice outdoor area in back. It feels trendy without trying too hard. Overall, Zeroday Brewing is a dependable, enjoyable downtown hangout with great beer and good energy.

While it was a great night, really wanted to use this review to give a shout out to Riley. 10 stars! Riley managed our section like a rock star and the drink orders were non-stop, delivered quickly and never in error or forgotten. Riley was always smiling, friendly, professional, efficient, and really made the night extra special. Of note, her enthusiasm level was peak from beginning to end, you rarely see this next level service anymore. Thank you to Jay & Tab for picking up the tab, the Ever Grain Brewing team and especially Riley - a night to long remember, great drinks / great service. Until next time....

I want to preface this with saying that this place used to be great. They had a seasonal menu…read more(still do) but almost anything you could order was really flavorful and yummy. We used to take the kids here, there was something for everybody and a fun atmosphere. Fast forward a few years and this place has really gone downhill. Three staff was all very young and seemed to be in a rush. OK - we can deal with that, although it wasn't even as crowded as usual on a Sunday night. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (which was listed under handhelds), with the "chilli mango coleslaw" option. We also had a pork belly sandwich and smash burger for our toddler. We weren't given an option to get that medium and wete told "it just comes one way" "because it's smashed". Other restaurants always ask you how you want your burgers even if it's listed as a smash but ok - I can also live with this. The last thing we ordered we a Buffalo chicken wedge salad to share. It ended up being our undoing for the evening and the straw that broke the camels back. The "Nashville" chicken sandwich was a greasy, thin slice of completely unseasoned chicken. It wasn't spicy like it said, it was pretty soft and soggy instead of crunchy, and was totally unsalted. It was worse than when I was doing no salt from a high bp diet post partum. :( the bread fell apart and was sopping wet... I guess from some pickles and lettuce on the bottom of the sandwich? It was anything but handheld and so I ended up just scraping what chicken off I could and leaving the rest. My "chili mango" coleslaw had no mango, no spice, and was just regular plain, unsalted cole slaw. I recieved 2 teaspoons of this in a plastic cup on the side and regretted not ordering the fries instead, which looked to be a good portion size on my husbands entreé. My food order was terrible overall. 0/10 My husband said he liked his sandwich. The fries were a 6/10 because they were crunchy but they were cold. Our kids menu smash burger was all grease, and came well done. Our kid ate a few fries and they were less greasy. 3/10 The worst part of the meal was the salad... The Buffalo chicken was tasty, but the whole salad was onions and sopping in dressing. We then found a black molded rotten tomato and honestly we were sick to our stomachs after that. Like I was insisting the salad at that point and ended up finding that but what else did we already eat that was just totally rotten ?? 2/10 only for the chicken salvaging the flavor for this dish. When we told the waitress that this was distressing, like we came out to get our of the house with our baby and this was the meal (so disappointing) she did not automatically offer to take the rotten salad off the bill. We asked her to please remove it, and to her credit she did so after putting us in an awkward position to have to ask at all. We liked that this place supports local artists. For that, 2 stars For these reasons though above we will not be back here for dinner. Sorry Evergrain, we will miss you!

The building is a former printing plant which has a spacious tap rooms/dining on the first floor and the Abbey Bar (with occasional live music) upstairs. I'm a big fan of ABC for many reasons, not the least of which is their variety of approachable and tasty beer styles for nearly any taste. ABC manages to stay creative with a mix of standard selections with a rotating cast of seasonals--but nothing too exotic. The food has been good in my experience and I confess a particular liking for the pierogies--pretty darn good for this part of PA. Service at this location has been uniformly excellent during all my visits. A couple of mild quirks about the Cameron Street location: first, parking is a bit odd. There's a small lot near the entrance but most parking is near the back of the building. Second, the brewery is on a slightly industrial stretch of Cameron Street. Translation: the neighborhood looks worse than it actually is! ABC runs an excellent small chain of brew pubs (I've visited most of them) but I think the original has a je ne sais quoi that makes it special.
