I just went the other day, because they sell men's Levi's jeans in tall sizes and I needed them for someone. There is also plenty of Under Armour, Nike, Champion and Reebok athletic gear. They also have bathing suits and sneakers. The store isn't busy at all, but it is well stocked and organized. They have a rewards system, for every $50 spent you earn a $10 coupon for next time, so they're working on bringing back their clientele. Bob's Store is a decent store, but most of the items they sell can be found at other retailers for a lower cost.

Kohl's is known for its value and selection of brands for the whole family. They also have great sales and coupons; the more you purchase the more coupons you get. Also, it's a convenient place to shop because they offer online shopping, in-store shopping, and they have an app. You can even do Amazon returns there. I've always enjoyed shopping at Kohl's because the prices are usually good. I'm a bargain shopper so you will find me at the clearance racks. The best time to go is during the holidays (fourth of July, black Friday, end of summer, etc.) There is something for everyone and a great place to shop for gifts too. I like this store because it's two levels, organized, clean, and has great parking. There are escalators and an elevator. It's conveniently located in the Shops of Farmington. The service was good. It's a good sized store, so you'll do some walking to get to the men's and children's sections. There's also a second floor easily reached by escalator or elevator, and you'll find everything here from clothing to electronics, from jewelry to shoes. We did have difficulty find help, however. When we did, they were helpful, but there didn't seem to be a lot of them. There's also a large Sephora store within Kohl's that seems to cater to grown-ups. Lots of parking outside -- a good stop for us at the Shoppes at Farmington Valley.

In total, including alteration fees, I got three of their highest level suits plus two $90 shirts and two $90 ties for $750. Great value if you wear a suit for work and don't need to wear Armani. Even better than the deals was the manager John. The guy was top notch, fun to talk to and he really knew how to fit me and make me feel comfortable. Instead of overtailoring what he had in stock, he special ordered some things for me, which I really appreciated. Coming back to the store once they arrived to meet with the tailor, Felix, was just as good. I really like the staff at this store. My suits from Jos A. Bank typically last 3-4 years with pretty constant wear and monthly dry cleaning.
