You'll get an accurate, thoughtful response. Lights lower, music softer? She's on it. No stress added that I arrived a couple minutes late. She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. Incident 1 - on 1/3/26 : Denial of Service Within the Grace Period On my most recent visit, I arrived four (4) minutes late for my appointment. According to European Wax Center's clearly stated policy, clients are allowed a nine (9) minute grace period. Despite being well within this timeframe, I was informed by two front desk staff members that my wax specialist had decided not to take me back and that I would need to reschedule. This was presented to me as a discretionary decision rather than a policy-based one. This is not the first time this has happened to me at this location, which suggests a recurring disregard for corporate policy rather than an isolated misunderstanding. Incident 2 - Closure Without Proper Notice (12/22/25) On December 22, 2025, I arrived for a scheduled appointment only to find the salon completely unattended. The doors were locked, and no staff were present. A handwritten note was posted stating that the salon was closed due to a fire, along with a non-working phone number. There was no advance notification, no follow-up communication, and no legitimate way to verify or address the situation at the time. This lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability is unacceptable for a national brand. Ongoing Pattern of Poor Management The Easton location has developed a notoriously poor reputation for this type of conduct, impacting numerous customers--not just myself. Repeated cancellations, selective enforcement of policies, and lack of basic customer communication raise serious concerns about management oversight and franchise compliance. Unfortunately, these practices help explain why so many European Wax Center locations are reportedly struggling or closing. I am requesting that corporate leadership: 1. As I was running my hands over my legs felt like 2 day old stubble. I noticed a good amount of hair left, though now it's just mega short. It was ripped off, not ripped out. I'd say looking at the success rate, was about 50%. Half ripped from the bottom, half just ripped in half. And on the inside of both of my thighs, there is just a 4x4 inch patch just still there. I also thought my tech would get more butt crack but no. Also, feet and toes were supposed to be part of the leg package and she didn't do them at all. My tech was incredibly friendly, professional, and sanitary. She was fantastic. I really liked her as a person. But the service itself was not at all what I expected. I hadn't shaved in at least a month, more like 2. I scrubbed my legs every night for a week prior, knowing that I was getting waxed today. And did a wash even just before leaving the house. So I'm not sure why so many hairs broke and were left over other than improper techniques. I certainly have photos to show. They look good from far away, but half of the hairs were just broken. A lot of money for how much hair was left over.

You take off everything below the waist... and then, well, they do the same. All the hair, that is. Does it hurt? That's a silly question. Of course it does. I wasn't worried about the pain, but I was a tiny bit worried about feeling awkward and uncomfortable. But, like I said, Talyne is great at what she does. I wouldn't want to be waxed by anyone else. She mapped my brows, did some color matching, and talked about expectations the day of the appointment. I felt very well-informed and comfortable in her hands and with Boss Gal in general. My appointment was the following week and it went as smooth as expected. And speaking of expectations Kayla provided me with an overview of what the next week or two would look like from the appearance of my brows to the healing process and everything else. On day two they were super dark, but as she advised they would soften over time and they did! Four weeks later was a touch-up and it was exactly what I needed. My brows look natural and match my face shape and hair color flawlessly. It's so nice to just wake up and get up and go, to not worry about penciling in my eyebrows and accidentally wiping one off! I'm so glad I went to Boss Gal. I can't recommend Kayla and Boss Gal enough!
