She suggested Xerf instead and so far, I'm super happy! It's only been a few weeks and the effects will continue to improve. I've been to a few different places and I think her prices are competitive, plus the parking is super easy since she's in Hazard Center. She also does a free consult, so if you're not sure what you want/need, you can meet with her and ask what she recommends!

After spending over a year consulting with various medical spas across San Diego, I felt…read moreoverwhelmed by the conflicting treatment plans suggested to address chronic redness on my face, neck, and chest. As a 56-year-old postmenopausal woman dealing with the combined effects of hormonal shifts and past sun exposure, I was looking for an efficient, highly effective solution. My search happily ended when I was referred to Crystal LeBlanc by the nurse at the Pacific Beach location. From our very first consultation, Crystal stood out. She listened intently to my concerns and proposed an innovative approach that no other clinic had suggested. While we initially discussed an aggressive MicroLaserPeel (MLP) Deep treatment, I became concerned about the scheduling and work downtime. When I approached Crystal with my hesitations, she was incredibly supportive and adaptable. Instead of pushing the intensive treatment, she customized a tailored alternative: an MLP Light combined with a Broadband Light (BBL) treatment. Having done standalone BBL treatments elsewhere in the past with slow results, I can confidently say this combination was a game-changer. The day of the procedure was seamless. Crystal prioritized my comfort every step of the way, thoroughly explaining the process to ease my nerves, while the clinic's option for pre-medication and laughing gas made the treatment entirely manageable. What sets Crystal apart is her exceptional post-care support. During my recovery, I sent her daily photo updates, and she provided immediate, reassuring feedback. My skin healed beautifully within seven days, and by week three, any residual pinkness (mainly the eyes) had completely faded to reveal beautiful, even-toned skin. The front desk team is incredibly warm. A huge thank you to Mia for her exceptional patience and professionalism in resolving an administrative account detail for me. I would undergo this treatment again in a heartbeat--but only with Crystal! I am looking forward to my follow-up with her in early October to showcase these incredible results and plan my next steps. Please feel free to direct message me if you would like to see my progress photos!

I can count on feeling much better and more relaxed after each appointment. Many treatment options are available depending on what you want to accomplish, and I continue to try the different products they carry. Dr. Chang knows which products to recommend, and I have enjoyed each one of them. If you are sitting around wondering if you should visit and request a consult, then I encourage you to give it a shot. That is exactly how I started, and I have been coming here for several years now. It's really neat to see how your skin can improve with the proper care and treatment.

My Experience with Beatitude Aesthetic Medicine and Dr. Aria Chang in San Diego, California…read more My experience with Beatitude Aesthetic Medicine and Dr. Aeria Chang in San Diego, California, was extremely disappointing. Based on my personal experience, this was one of the worst aesthetic treatment experiences I have ever had. I visited Dr. Chang's office for the following treatments: Venus Freeze treatments: Neck, face, underarms, thighs, abdomen, and back. Laser treatment for spider veins: Legs. Dr. Chang assured me that she would use high-quality cosmetic products and provide treatments that would produce satisfactory results for my face and body. Unfortunately, after six treatment sessions, I saw no noticeable improvement. I paid a total of $6,500. After depositing my check, Dr. Chang, in my view, failed to address my concerns and stopped communicating with me. I felt ignored, misled, and abandoned as a patient. I expected professional care, honest communication, and a genuine effort to address my dissatisfaction, but that was not my experience. I found her conduct deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, honesty, and compassion, especially when they invest a substantial amount of money in aesthetic treatments. My Experience with the Small Claims Court Case After my attempts to resolve this matter failed, I filed a lawsuit in an effort to recover my money. During the proceedings, Dr. Chang's husband, Mr. Scott, presented an agreement that I maintain I never signed. I signed a medical consent form, but I did not sign the separate agreement presented in court. I believe my signature was copied from the medical consent form and placed on the disputed agreement without my authorization. I was deeply troubled by this situation. I also disputed the testimony presented by the witnesses who appeared on Dr. Chang's behalf. In my view, I was not given a fair opportunity to examine the disputed document and fully explain my position to the judge. Unfortunately, I lost the small claims case and was unable to appeal the decision under the rules applicable to my circumstances. As a result, I felt that I had no meaningful opportunity to challenge the document I disputed or fully present my concerns. I believe the circumstances surrounding that agreement warrant serious scrutiny. I strongly dispute its authenticity and maintain that I never signed it. I am sharing my experience so that others can understand the nature of my concerns and make informed decisions before choosing an aesthetic medical provider. A Warning to Other Patients I sincerely regret my experience with Beatitude Aesthetic Medicine. After spending $6,500 on multiple treatments and receiving no noticeable improvement, I was left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and deeply dissatisfied with how my concerns were handled. What made this experience even more distressing was the subsequent dispute over the document presented in court. I believe patients should be able to trust that the documents they sign are authentic, that their concerns will be taken seriously, and that they will be treated fairly throughout the entire process. I encourage anyone considering aesthetic treatments to research their provider carefully, ask for all treatment agreements in writing, retain copies of every document they sign, and maintain records of payments and communications. In my opinion, my experience fell far short of the professionalism, transparency, and patient care that I expected. I hope sharing my account encourages other patients to ask questions, protect their interests, and carefully consider their options before committing to expensive aesthetic treatments. Patients deserve honesty, accountability, respect, and professional care. No one should feel ignored or misled after investing their trust and hard-earned money in a medical provider.

I debated for a long time whether to leave this review, but ultimately I feel that people…read moreconsidering this practice should hear about my experience. A little over two years ago, I underwent several procedures here, including a deep plane facelift, rhinoplasty, neck lift, liposuction, and earlobe reduction. Unfortunately, my results were far from satisfactory. I ended up with multiple complications and cosmetic issues. I have a visible hollowing/depression along my lower face that is especially noticeable when I smile. My jawline contour is uneven rather than smooth and straight. My nose actually appears more crooked than before surgery, remains quite bulbous, and the breathing issues I hoped to correct were never resolved. I also developed pixie ear deformity after the facelift. The emotional impact of these results was significant. To make matters more confusing, the surgeon who performed my surgery later disappeared from the practice. I was never given a clear explanation as to whether he left or was no longer employed there. The practice did offer some corrective procedures. A fat transfer was performed to address the hollow area in my face, but the fat did not survive, so the defect remains. They also repaired the pixie ear, but I was left with a noticeable scar beneath the ear. For the remaining issues, I was essentially told that I would need to undergo additional surgery and pay for it myself. More than two years later, I still have breathing problems, persistent tightness in my neck, an uneven jawline, and cosmetic concerns that were never resolved. After everything I have been through, this experience has been deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone.
