After five months of therapy, that changed my life, I wrote this thought/poetic exert. I'm extremely grateful for the insight that my sessions with Baltimore Therapy Group has provided. With her insightful questions, she helped both of us to decide to see our own lives more clearly and live more honestly and authentically."  - A direct quote from my husband.   We both have found that the hard work of self-examination pays off.  Learning how to face life honestly and courageously is not for everyone. Personal biases can preclude a good therapy relationship 'fit' (no, she was not our first couples counselor but she is the only one we recommend). Guilt, blame-shifting and denial - which involves lying to oneself as much as others - with the consequent anger are common early issues to work out. Owning one's own faults is tough. But only by doing so does one break through to all the good changes on the other side. It is one thing to know something intellectually, quite another to truly know it to one's core and live it. Take-aways learned in therapy: How people treat other people is a direct reflection of how they feel about themselves.  We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are. We have learned that miserable people focus on what they hate about their life. Happy people focus on what they love about their life. We now choose to be happy.  Thank you, Dr. Broadbent, for enriching our lives.

My partner and I recently celebrated our anniversary and wanted to treat ourselves to a couple's…read moremassage. He had never had a massage before so I was super excited to see how he might like the experience. We tried contacting several spas and massage providers who either didn't have the availability or didn't respond back. Finally, I texted Metta on the number listed on their website and they responded within a few hours. We were able to schedule sessions for the time and day we wanted via text which was very convenient. My masseuse called out sick the day of so I was paired with Forest. My boyfriend was paired with Tav. Both providers were friendly and accomodating. My boyfriend LOVED his massage with Tav. He said he dozed off a few times and could see himself coming back every month - such a great sign for someone new to massage. I enjoyed my session with Forest as well and left feeling relaxed. A few things to note: they don't provide couples massages but instead do tandem massages. Meaning, you're in different rooms. This wasn't a dealbreaker for us but could be for others depending on your preference. They also still require masks here. We brought our own surgical masks but were asked to use their K95 masks they provided. This was a little uncomfortable during the service, especially while facing down, but I can understand the need if they have a lot of immunocompromised clients or staff members.

For over 3 years I was a patient of Psychexperts. It's been over 6 years when I was diagnosed with…read moredepression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, anger problems, along with physical disabilities. All of that takes a toll on someone, especially when going through it alone. My PCP suggested therapy and though I hesitated at first, I decided to at least try it. My therapist Ms. Dilworth made a huge impact on my life. I've shared things with her that I never shared with anyone. I've learned to love myself. Most of all I learned that the traumatic things that happened to me, weren't my fault. I couldn't and can't thank her enough for all she's done for me and my life. It's such a sad thing that Psychexperts will close but I hope others experienced the same comfort I did with my time here.
