He had never had a massage before so I was super excited to see how he might like the experience. We tried contacting several spas and massage providers who either didn't have the availability or didn't respond back. Finally, I texted Metta on the number listed on their website and they responded within a few hours. We were able to schedule sessions for the time and day we wanted via text which was very convenient. My masseuse called out sick the day of so I was paired with Forest. My boyfriend was paired with Tav. Both providers were friendly and accomodating. My boyfriend LOVED his massage with Tav. He said he dozed off a few times and could see himself coming back every month - such a great sign for someone new to massage. I enjoyed my session with Forest as well and left feeling relaxed. A few things to note: they don't provide couples massages but instead do tandem massages. Meaning, you're in different rooms. This wasn't a dealbreaker for us but could be for others depending on your preference. They also still require masks here. We brought our own surgical masks but were asked to use their K95 masks they provided. This was a little uncomfortable during the service, especially while facing down, but I can understand the need if they have a lot of immunocompromised clients or staff members.

The care this treatment center provides is amazing and the relationships and community within the building are truly so special. They're extremely open, welcoming and caring. It's truly the epitome of a judgement free zone. Mountain Manor Treatment Center provides services and care to individuals, both minors and adults, who are and/or have struggled with addition. Typically drug related, at least from my experience with individuals I have worked with. The growth, resources, love, and laughter the workers provide is truly one of a kind and I look forward to volunteering here more.

Let's be honest, it can be quite difficult to seek therapy, and even more difficult to find the right therapist. I've seen a few therapist over the course of the year, but there is no other therapist like Jeffrey! We've had many life changing sessions where he has an arsenal of tools (e.g. psychological frameworks and theories) in his toolkit to get to the root of your issues while maintaining his down-to-earthness such that you can be the best version of yourself. Jeffrey is extremely professional, productive, approachable, and accommodating. He's also an amazing listener and can say some profound things that will leave you wanting more sessions. It's concerning that this may be the only page someone seeking treatment may find. Kolmac is a place to avoid at all costs. Please dig a little further and save yourself or your loved one from a potentially devastating waste of time and money.

I have been to the Kolmac Clinic on several occasions for training, mostly at the Columbia…read morelocation. Honestly I didn't even know that this location existed. It is located on Charles Street downtown across from the Hotel Monaco and B&O. I'm assuming looking for street parking could be a challenge depending on the time of day. There is a garage next to the building, it was a bit high IMO. The building is quite easy to spot as it is LARGE. Kolmac is located in the 6th floor. It is kind of behind the elevators. This location appears to be more quaint from my observation, but it still does the job. I will always return, as the trainings are informative, interesting and free! Thanks so much Kolmac!
