Good spot to escape the heat and the crazy summer rain. That's what we did here and the a/c was good. It was torrential down pour and here we made it perfect time to browse the shops and get some steps in. They have JCPenney here and Macy's, Bath and Body, Zales, American Eagle just to name a few. After walking an hour, the rain passed and we just made it through one half of the mall. We know it's here, so we have something else to check out later. read more

Sorry, i haven't been to the Melbourne Mall in FIVE YEARS and decided to give it another try. I kind of wish that I hadn't. The gross puppy mill store is still there and the anchor store are low end which would be fine but, the customer service was horrible. I keep hoping that things will turn around but, I'm not surprised why a majority of shoppers are now buying online. I did buy a 1/2 off T-shirt and when I got home, noticed I was charged full price but, I don't even want to go back. The one star is for the mall being cleaner than it's ever been thanks to Covid. I always check the fragrance counter in the Men's Dillards to see what they have for my gorgeous boyfriend. Nice mall, very clean and l never have a feeling if being overwhelmed, given the climate at malls around the country today. There is a nice variety of stores including JC Penny, Macys and Dillards. The food court is cool also. They have a pizzeria there that l recently reviewed that has the best pizza l have had since leaving NYC. Lol There is also a nice play area for the little ones. We wanted to experience some different styles of food so we went to the mall and tried some great food at a decent price. It wasn't a lot to choose from but they did have an Asian Restaurant, Japanese restaurant, Chic Fil A, Barros Pizzeria and Tropical Smoothie. They had a Cheesy restaurant with multiple items with a lot of cheese so if you're a cheese eater then this was the place to go. The cheese was literally running down the side of my mouth and so much more cheese left on the sandwich. read more

A mall built for an initially small but ever expanding town. Some stores have pulled out recently but that's the way of JC Penny and Sears in recent years. The owners have done a good job expanding storefronts and maintaining the mall and parking lot. Parking is easy to find depending on which entrance you choose to use. The food court is well stocked with all the essentials, juice/smoothies, pizza, chinese, fried foods, Starbucks, etc. You've got clothes, video games and DVDs, jewelry, bath soaps and lotions, shoes, sports memorabilia, and a majority of chain stores you'd see at any other mall. Brevard county is growing but maybe a majority of people just head over to Viera to shop or do the Amazon thing now. For a teenager looking to kill time before or after a movie this isn't a terrible place to walk around. Fair prices and variety to find most things you need but I wouldn't consider it my go to mall every weekend. read more

A very average mall. I grew up in Melbourne so I've been coming here for the past 23 years of my short life. The stores inside don't change much. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a significant change the entire time I've been here. You won't find the pricey department stores you might find in bigger cities. The food court is also somewhat small and the food selections change more frequently than the stores inside the mall. The only food places that have stayed the same are the two Asian stalls, the Chik Fil A, the Sbarros, and the greek place. Everything else is switched around frequently. The Auntie Ann's on the other side of the mall has also been around for a long time. The Brazilian steakhouse is also relatively new but I heard it wasn't good. There used to be another Brazilian steakhouse that closed in that location. I'm not sure if the current one is the same restaurant with a different brand or if it's just entirely new. I wouldn't really recommend eating inside the mall because there are a lot of newer restaurants next to the mall. It used to just be all parking spaces but places like BJs have been popping up in those empty spaces, which is fantastic. There are large department stores available like Macy's and Dillard's. There is also a decent H&M and Hollister. Yeah, there's not much. There's also this puppy pet shop that has been around for ages. The puppies there are very cute but unfortunately they're from puppy mills. The dogs are in small cages every day that have grates at the bottom that hurt their feet. The puppy shop is in a tired condition - they barely even bother to change out the signs for the different puppies on display. I don't really understand how this mall can endorse and support this store being around for so long - I get so sad for those poor puppies every time I pass by this store. read more

A nice mall with a good food court This is THE mall in Melbourne. It is located on the corner of US-192 and Nasa Blvd. It is a single-story indoor mall with Macy's, Dillards, Dick's Sporting goods, and a JC Penney for large stores. It sports these anchor stores, a food court, and numerous shops. It advertises over 125 retail stores. There is plenty of parking and exits to the north, south, and west onto different roads. Please be careful driving around the mall as the traffic, drivers, and traffic patterns can prove challenging. Macy's is located at the est end of the mall and JC Penney is located at the west end. The mall hours are from 10 am to 9 pm most days with Sunday being 12-6. The indoor is well lit and has skylights in strategic places to allow the natural Florida sun inside for additional light. It is a very nice mall with the normal center-aisle kiosks selling various items at different times. The food court is in the center of the mall, closer to one of the mall entrances on the south side. The mall may be a little dated by design but overall it is nice and had a good variety of stores. Overall, a nice place to go if you are looking for something or just want to get out of the house. read more

Great place, but the puppies store... Don't get me started! We tried to get a dog and it took months! He wasn't properly taken care of either. We went to go play with him and he had poop on his butt so we asked to get him wiped and put back but they didn't do anything. They just put him back like nothing happened. The employees were okay, some were really sweet and helpful but some were completely disrespectful. We were really sad because right when we were about to finally get our dog after 5 months, he got ring worms. The workers didn't even care about it either! It took 2 extra months and we never ended up getting our dog. The whole family was sad. On the other hand, I love the rest of the mall. read more

Stopping through Melbourne to see a couple friends I spotted a unfamiliar mall with a Macy's . I parked and ran into this some what empty mall and enjoyed the quietness. This has to be the only Macy's I've been too that wasn't packed up with people. However The people were very friendly. I also found a Dicks Sporting Goods, and an LA fittness. There a couple more dept stores, and a good bit of your normal little shops. Not a bad little mall read more

It's okay for the area its in. Does not compare in the least to any of the shopping malls in South Florida or Orlando. While this mall has the basics: Macys, Dillards and um.... (I think that's it actually)... it lacks the ambiance and enthusiasm of boutique shops that add to its peer locations. Prices are okay but nothing to go out of one's way for. read more

The mall is just fine, I think these reviews are right on point. It is small, and coming from DC, I was no impressed at first. But, in reality, this is a small beach town, of course we don't have a perfect mall. But it works for me. My only problem is THE PET STORE. It makes me absolutely SICK. There are tiny 2" by 3" cage for each dog. They can't see each other or touch each other and all the cages are behind a glass wall- so no body can touch them. The dogs are either running in circles in their tiny cage, or sitting in it's own food ball completely depressed looking. I seriously wonder if anyone takes them on walks throughout the day. I have never seen anyone that works there touching or interacting with the puppies. I would never buy a puppy from a pet store, but this is honestly, the worst pet store I have ever seen in my life. I am going to pursue this topic further because I don't think the place should be in business. If you feel the same way, please take action with me. The poor animals in there cannot speak for themselves. read more

This mall is fairly small. Hey, that rhymed! Anyway, It has your basic shops such as Bath and Body Works, Spencers, and some others. There's a good sized food court and Auntie Ann's as well. Two things set this mall apart from others that I've been to. One, there's a cat and dog adoption center which is pretty neat. Two, they have a Rue 21 with a plus size section! I'll definitely be back for the Rue 21, but I wish they would bring some more shops and variety to this mall. read more

Not too shabby for a small town mall. This mall is very dear to my heart since I grew up in Melbourne and I used to come to this mall in my teenager years with all of my friends just to walk around. Fast forward 12 years later, and this place has grown a lot... there is even an H&M!!! of course that now that I live in SFlo, this mall is small, but but but, the one store they have and has been there for years is "Standard Collective" and it is simply the best thing since sliced bread. Here, you can find everything your fashionable and boho heart desires, as well as unique pieces. I overall love this mall because it has all the department stores you nee (macy's, Dillards, Jc Penny) as well as a decent food court and other clothing stores. read more

This is a very sad mall. I am used to the malls up north so that is why I am spoiled when it comes to malls. It is very quiet which is nice because I can't stand listening to all the screaming kids. They have so many different things that have been added to the location and others that have been closed down. I think they really need to try and step up their game some because it is just dull and drab. Maybe add something different in there. Be a step above the rest. Remember the Tobacerie! Yes, I'm old school when it comes to this mall, which would rate a 2 anywhere else but Melbourne. But, that's my main memory of this mall: reading magazines in a store smelling of tobacco. At least the pet shop remains, so you still have something to smell. And, the floor and lighting (still) feel oddly 1991-ish. Other than that, there are a plethora of familiar chain stores, anchored by, among others, a large Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and a closed Circuit City (the sign is still there). The food court is good (enough), with Starbucks, Subway, Chick-fil-A, and even a Middle Eastern offering. There's also a farmer's market on (some) weekends. For a shopping environment that doesn't look and feel like the 20th century, head to Viera. read more

Good amount of stores to choose from I would say. You have your large department stores: Dillards, Macy's, and JC Penny. Smaller venues: Victoria Secret, American Eagle, Aeropostle, Gap, etc. For the kids you have: Justice, Children's Place, and Gap Kids. I love the Rack Room for running shoes because they are always having huge sales...I love Buy One Get One 1/2 off. I went into the store called Bath and Body Goods with some friends and the women who owned the store came out and just stared at us the whole time we were walking around the store. Every time we would say something to each other she would say, "what did they just say" as if she was looking for a reason to pick a fight. My friends and I left the store because we were so uncomfortable and we believe she was treating us so poorly because of the color of our skin. When we left the store I said, "have a nice day" and the lady just rolled her eyes and walked the other way. It is very sad that a grown woman treats innocent young adults this way. Well, this mall has 2 and 3 star reviews for a reason. It has a lot of the usual chain stores. Not much individuality here, but the mall is still somewhat outdated. Even worse are that the major anchors (Macy's, Dillards) reek of mildew. That's pretty gross, and it was repulsive for my shopping experience. The mall was otherwise clean though. I was also amazed that my mother used to work here in high school - in the 1970s no less! I suppose one perk is that there seemed to be a lot of cute women in their mid to late 20s here - not something you find at a California mall. But will that bring me back here? NO! read more

CLEAN, AND SPACIOUS! This is your typical mall that has major department stores like Macy's and Dillards and smaller shopping options as well. If it is services you want, you can get your watch repaired here, there were two nail salons, a brow threading shop and more that we did not see. was surprised that they had a pet store in the mall because I thought those had been discontinued a decade ago. Weird! If you want something to eat, they have a nice food court that has some healthy options along with the traditional favorites like Chik Fila, and Sbarros. There were more independent options available and that was a nice change. If you want something more formal, there are a couple of full service restaurants, (Chinese and Steakhouse) located right in the mall. This mall was very clean, open and spacious. It is the perfect mall for walking and exercising. Even if you don't want to purchase anything, just put on your sneakers and go! read more

It does not speak well of Melbourne that is the 'anchor mall'- the Macy's is poorly stocked and staffed and very junky. The Dillard's is nicer, but that is not too hard. Pretty standard mall. Appearance was clean, parking adequate. Seems like a lot of the stores I enjoyed are gone. Maybe the era of the shopping mall is over. The Melbourne Square Mall is a typical smaller town mall. There are your larger retailers (Macys, JCPenny and Dillards) and then you have your smaller retailers. There are some one off mom-n-pop shops as well. I have a dreadful time with the kiosk workers when I shop here, they're really aggressive and annoying. I wish mall management would do something about them. The building is pretty well maintained and even on weekends and weekend evenings the crowds aren't too large. read more

This is my hometown mall, so I've see it through many phases over the past 20+ years. Although it can't compete with malls in larger cities, it's continuing to change and grow with the times. Furthermore, the surrounding area of the mall is growing as well and they've added three restaurants and a gym within the past year all of which brings additional business to the mall. I come here almost every time I visit my hometown and I'm excited to see how this mall will continue to evolve. read more

I really enjoy shopping at the Melbourne Mall. It has a great variety of stores and is always clean and well maintained. My favorite store is Macy's.
