The best bacon egg and cheese sandwich I've had in a while. The eggs are cooked PERFECTLY every time. I personally don't like when they're overcooked and dry. Melas never fails to make them fluffy and moist. The staff is always great and polite. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door. I absolutely love Melas, and get my lunch here just about every work day. I've been coming here for years. Their food is consistently fresh and delicious, no matter what I order. I especially love their salmon, fried shrimp with remoulade sauce they make for me, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, their regular pasta, iced caramel macchiato- yeah, it's all pretty great! I can see why this place gets busy during lunch time. The staff is warm and friendly, and the food flavorfull. I ordered a egg white/cheese/sausage on a roll and it was delightful. They clearly use fresh ingredients. Be careful when ordering anything other than plain coffee, you're in for an adventure. My cappuccino was more of a latte, but good nonetheless. read more

Poor customer sevice, today they had someone make my wrap that they informed did not really no how to make wraps when I opened it everything immediately fell apart, I had no time to wait for another one so I just paid for my drink and left, when informing them about their wrongdoing one of the cooks began to argue with me while another spoke in spanish implying that my co-worker and I always complain, not to mention they overcharged me, I bought a snapple beverage and got back $13 out of $20. I 'm completely doene with this place they were shut down for a while just recently re-opened customer service is horrible, their grade is pending right now, I will definitely not return. read more

I started working a new shift and my time is pretty limited so this cafe is on the way to work and I stopped in to get something to eat and a coffee. I remember this place when it was called "coming back" which you will find yourself doing. Melas serves up fresh foods daily made with with pride, whether it be rice and beans, pernil, meatloaf, jerk chicken, lasagna, burgers etc.. it is always flavorful, hot and delicious! I especially love their paninis. The place is always clean and service is prompt. They have a great staff and is always a pleasure to come here. They make you feel like family. read more

A buddy of mine just brought me here yesterday and I was very impressed. I got the Cuban Panini and it was delicious! Hot, moist, tender and oh, so tasty! The ladies here were very friendly and courteous. You can tell they take pride in their food as one of them showed us the fresh spread in the steam buffet.
