Unfortunately, one of my gel nails chipped and fell off before the 24-hour mark. FYI, gel manicures usually last about two weeks for me. I was on vacation so I reached out to the manicurist on social media to give her the feedback and all I got was a "That should NOT have happened." I called the salon hoping they would be a little more apologetic and the person that answered was extremely cold and unhelpful. I told her that I basically didn't have a manicure anymore and she responded, "Umm, you definitely still have a manicure." She said I could get a 50% refund or could come in when I was back to have them fixed. I knew they would have been grown out by that time - little did I know, they would all peel off before the end of my trip. I guess I was looking for either a full refund or a free manicure since I had spent $70 and left a very generous tip but apparently they don't really care about customer retention. The first time, I felt like I had the best hair cut I've ever had, but the second time, yikes. First off, I had to wait over an hour after my scheduled time because they were so far behind. No heads up or apologies. Nothing. So it seems like that was maybe normal here? Then, my stylist was trying to take care of two clients at the same time! I think that is why my hair was so messed up. I've never seen such a strange hair cut before... Honestly, I have no idea what she did to my hair ..... months later and I'm still so upset about it ...
