Small cozy restaurant with heart warming food. I would recommend to reserve a table beforehand. Reasonable price with a fair portion. Was pleasantly satisfied with everything. read more

Tiny restaurant w/ a couple of tables. Better to reserve at peek times. Mekong offers you the typical vietnam/asian dishes and very good Pho Bo (soup) w/ a variety of fresh herbs and bean sprouts. I also like the Vietnamese spring rolls, which are delicious here. All food is good quality and the portions are OK. My children like this place, due to the food and service! read more

Great food, great service, cute place. I had the pho, which was good, and my husband had sweet and sour fish, which was excellent. I also recommend the spring rolls -- quite different from what I'm used to, but very, very good. read more

I have to say this place is really average. After hearing everyone say how great this place is for Vietnamese food, I was disappointed. Our party had ordered a variety of different entries and the portions are not so great and I don't find the food authentic. read more

Probably one of the best places for vegetarian pho but still not as satisfying as other places I have visited. The owner is very welcoming and sweet. read more

Really great food and service. We made reservations before we went. This is a really great idea because Mekong stays really busy. I'm guessing the reason is because their food is very authentic. We come from the States with so much options so it's great to get really authentic Vietnamese food in Erlangen. read more

Von außen sehr unscheinbares Restaurant und leicht zu übersehen, aber nicht weit von der Unibibliothek entfernt. Weil das Mekong ein eher kleines und gut besuchtes Local ist, würde ich immer vorher reservieren. Mir gefallen vorallem die typischen vietnameischen Spezialitäten, wie Pho Bo und Bun mit Frühlingsrollen. Oder zu trinken auch "Cafe fin" und die nette Bedienung versetzt einen wieder nach Vietnam. Die gebratene Ente ist einfach super zart und lecker. Preislich ist das Mekong angemessen. Wer für um die 10€ essen gehen will, kann ein Blick in die Mittagskarte oder auch den "Seniorenpotionen" eine Möglichkeit geben. Bezahlung mit Visa und paywave ist auch möglich. read more

Schönes, traditionell-gemütlich asiatisch eingerichtetes Restaurant mit unglaublich leckeren Gerichten! Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, man fühlt sich hier einfach wohl. Mein persönliches Lieblingsgericht ist das Rindfleisch mit Curry und Gemüse, unbedingt mal probieren! Auch besonders zu empfehlen sind die Reisplatten wenn man etwas mehr Auswahl haben will. Da das Restaurant etwas kleiner ist lohnt sich eine Reservierung in jedem Fall. read more

Nudelsupper! Wunderbar! Das Restaurant ist wirklich klein, also sollte man dringend reservieren, wenn es mehr als zwei Personen werden. Die Bedienung ist wirklich sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat durchgehend gute Qualität, die Preise sind ok, gerade wenn man die Angebote wahrnimmt. Für mich ist das absolute Highlight die Pho Ga, schmeckt einfach köstlich würzig, mit Thaibasilikum und frischem Korander, Soßen zum selber nachwürzen. Toll! read more

My husband was here for 2 weeks of training at Siemens. Since I am Vietnamese this was a nice break from the salty German food we were getting most of the time. We ate here 3 times and each time was great. I would order extra for the next day. read more
