I also like the Vietnamese spring rolls, which are delicious here. All food is good quality and the portions are OK. My children like this place, due to the food and service!

True to the motto of the restaurant (mango, duh!), the walls are painted in bright green, red, beige & brown, and you can find little panels full of information on the exotic fruit hanging from the walls (mid-lunch entertainment?). And as mentioned above, it might just be a company policy to add a piece of mango to each meal, as I found one solitary piece of said fruit swimming in my sweet 'n sour sauce. Not that it's a bad thing, mind you! I can always find something nice on the lunch deal menu(you can choose between 3 meals), but they also offer snack boxes (for take away), and many different things on their normal menu (soups, vietnamese specialties, vegetarian meals,...) The service is okay, you obviously have to get your food yourself at the counter and pay right away, but in case your choice of food takes a little longer to prepare, you will be asked to take a seat and the lovely lady behind the counter will serve it to you at the table instead. But you will never have to wait longer than 3-5 minutes. The prices are moderate, the lunch deal costs between 5 and 6€, the normal meals are not much more expensive. The food is fantastic! I do not have very much experience in the field of Vietnamese food, so I wouldn't be able to judge whether it's authentic or not, but it's really good. So good actually, that I choked several times on chili seeds that were happily swimming around in the sweet 'n sour sauce...no but really, it's great! Even if I didn't expect the hot & spicy part. And unlike many other food courts or restaurants situated within malls, Mango Tree is absolutely clean and inviting. Within the Arcaden it's definitely the restaurant with the highest quality. Bottom line: * High quality food for a moderate price * The mandatory single chunk of mango * clean & fast!

As starters both of us ordered spring rolls which were bigger than we expected and really delicious in spite of their different preparation (see pictures!). We shared a big plate for two with some nigiri and makis. The selection was large and delicious! Although there were many people in the restaurant, it was not loud. The food came shortly after our order without long waiting periods. I was really happy to find this place and will now come by more often! :)

The food again took another 30 minutes - although it was a week day. This is definitely a reason to lower my rating, because the place was not super crowded that day. Food: The food is delicious, as you can also see on the pictures. However, it is a little pricy - the makis I ordered were 15 € for 6 pieces. But were they extraordinary? Not really... There are other places in Erlangen or Nuremberg where I get similar quality but at a lower price (Hiro Sakao or Sushi Glas for example...).
