One of the best ideas they suggested was replacing my small walk-in pantry with a cabinet pantry--it made a huge difference in how the kitchen flows and feels. Tony & Darren are professional, knowledgable, and do what they say they will, like Show Up on Time! They designed every inch of my small kitchen into useable space, answered all 100 million questions I came up with and recommended Contractors and Stone Vendors that have the same work ethics they do. I did not have to use their vendors but I did because they brought them to my house and we all looked at the job together to be sure we were all on the same page. I LOVE my Kitchen Transformation from 1986 to 2025! I couldn't be happier and if I ever have to opportunity to update another kitchen, Butterfly Kitchens and Tony & Darren will be my go to!! Finding a quality GC who has these attributes is EXTREMELY rare. I'd had some home renovations done years ago with a different company where Jason was the project manager, and was super impressed with him. My wife and I recently moved and interviewed a number of general contractors. None of them felt right, so we checked online and found that Jason had now owned his own business, JMC. He and his wife Nina (who is outstanding with the design portion of the project) are true professionals in every sense of the word. Also, each member of Jason's teams (demo, tile, cabinets, plumbing, electric, ect.) are quality human beings that care about the final result. They were on time and on schedule, and treated our home with respect. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our renovations, and I'd highly recommend JMC. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of them. Jason, Nina and JMC are truly extraordinary.

The person who owns the condo is trying to save money and just wanted a temporary fix to get him through the next few months. So, those on here who know me, know what I do for a living. I am a credit manager for a door company with four branches! I personally know tons of door guys and carpenters. Some who even owe me a favor or two for not putting a lien on their jobs. I have known some of these people for years & I have been at my place of employment for close to 12 years. Here's the thing, I never mix my personal life with my business life. Could I get a new door, frames, hinges & everything else needed at a slightly discounted price? That would be a hard yes. Do I know a few carpenters & installers that wouldn't charge me for labor? Also a hard yes. I learned early on not to date contractors and I also learned not to have them in my home doing my repairs. I always try to use locally owned and operated businesses and I luckily found Solid Home Solutions right here on Yelp. Michael was great! He responded to my quote request quickly, was easy to communicate with and his rates are more than fair. My front door was repaired as much as possible for now and Michael did a wonderful job. Actually, he went above and beyond to make it work. When the job was completed, I was sent a receipt via text in addition to a well thought out text explaining what he did, pricing etc. I am happy I found Michael on Yelp. I highly recommend giving Michael a shot. I found him to be reliable, honest and helpful. What more can you ask for?
