I was told I needed 2 appointments back to back, then was told about 2 weeks ago they got that problem fixed and they could cancel the second appointment. 4 hours before my appointment today I got a call to "confirm" (although I just confirmed via email...) my appointment and was informed I would need a second appointment another day and the first wasn't covered by my insurance... totally understand stuff happens, just wish I didn't waste 6 weeks in pain and my time with all the forms... only to be told 4 hours before my appointment...

Now go every other week for maintenance and am feeling pretty good about my overall situation, still get an occasional twinge but I can usually trace that to my own stupidity. The office is always sparkling clean, staff is friendly and efficient. Average wait has only been 5to 7 minutes in over 30 visits, some no waits at all and only 2 x was there a long wait and if I would have thought about the timing (holiday day before or after) I probably could have avoided that. I have had 5 sessions since the initial evaluation and this is the best I've felt in ages! At Axis my rehab consists of Leanne working her magic with manual therapy on my hips and back which is followed by a guided rehab protocol in their gym, (in addition to some of my own rehab at home). She would have her assistant watch me do the activities she suggested. close to the last time I went, she had me doing a routine that was detrimental to my body, going sideways and stopping quickly. The first time I did it, when I stopped a pain went through my hip and dropped me to the floor. The assistant helped me up and got me on a table. The therapist wrapped tape around my leg to treat the pain. I went back for another session, when I walked out I never went back. I have later learned what she had me doing has caused non repairable damage. I now get shots in my hip to stop the pain. I don't sue people but in this case I wish I had. This girl was very arrogant and over confident of her abilities, she never supervised the patient leaving that up to her assistant who was never trained. I don't remember her name, so I can't pin point her exactly, so I suggest avoiding the business altogether as well as any other physical therapy business that tells you what to do and then leaves you to do the exercises while she goes to talk to her friends or whatever else. One on one continuous monitoring, is the way it should be.

Walk-in check in was quick and painless and Dr Keefer had me out of the waiting room within minutes. After a couple of x-rays of my back and a thorough explanation as to what my back was experiencing, Dr Keefer put me on his table and went to work on me. The experience was both painful and exhilarating at the same time and the pain subsided almost immediately leaving me with an incredible feeling of relief and disbelief.
