Specialist Roofing & Repair and especially their consultant Noah is our go to for roofing services…read more We worked with Noah during our home inspection and he proved to be the most thorough and polished professional we worked with. His personable nature immediately put us at ease and showed his genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Our roof had several areas of concern, and he communicated everything clearly and knowledgeably highlighting all of the risks and recommendations. He even made a detailed video on the spot during the visit to walk us through his findings which proved valuable during negotiations with the seller. Later Noah returned to help troubleshoot several leaks during heavy rains. He again demonstrated his commitment and attentiveness and methodically tracked down the source of the leak and presented solutions. We absolutely plan to work with Noah and Specialist Roofing & Repair again. Noah truly cares and gets the job done in a clear, educational, and professional way.

Let me just start by saying I'm a researcher. When I look for quotes, I first check Google to see…read morewhat the average price of my expected repair will cost, then get multiple quotes and o compare both scope of work and cost. Upon initial inquiry, Specialist Roofing & Repair was pretty quick to reply, so I scheduled a consultation. One odd thing is Gen I scheduled was that they asked if the would be seeing both my husband and I or just me; I find this a strange question as what if I wasn't married? It is awfully assumptive to think I had to have a husband, but I digress. Noah was scheduled to perform the inspection. He was running a bit late and called about 5 minutes after our scheduled time letting me know he ran into some traffic and would be about another 5 minutes or so. He showed up 20 minutes later and it was the oddest thing, he parked in my driveway. When he came up to the door he asked if it was okay and I said okay, but honestly, I found it really strange and just didn't want to prolong the appointment. Upon inspection, he seemed very knowledgeable and personable and did a pretty thorough inspection taking pictures and videos of the roof and surrounding areas. As mentioned, I am the type to obtain multiple quotes, so I expected that after he did the inspection, we would go over his findings and a few days later I would receive a quote. After he did the inspection, he showed me a video of something the other roofers didn't, which was nice as I like a thorough job, but then said he would be in touch with a quote. I received a phone call a few days later asking to discuss findings, but when I called back, I got an AI bot which was then followed up by a call back from a real person. Oddly enough, when they called, they literally said nothing. They asked if it was a good time to talk and I said yes but they wanted to talk when "my husband was around." Even though I said it was a good time, they said they would call back. I followed up via Yelp message. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive any quote from them. Needless to say, I won't be going with this company. They are seemingly sexist and only want to work with "husbands."

It's All About The Contractor…read more... If you consider multiple bids for your job, you'll likely see identical or comparable materials...maybe even some of the same technicians. You may see quotes in a tight range. In the end, it's the contractor who differentiates a proposal. Lior completed our roof project today--our first experience with United and Lior. On time and on budget. With the final inspection behind us, I would welcome the chance to work with Lior again. Lior's quote wasn't the cheapest by a small margin. Examining the fine print, however, we found that the slightly cheaper proposal capped the amount of free plywood used for a flat roof repair. Lior clarified that there was no plywood limit in his proposal, one of the factors that won the day. In the end, I was more comfortable with the contractor taking the materials risk than potentially being stuck with an overage: worth a small delta in pricing. Lior is transparent and honorable. We had a minor mishap during the period of performance...no injuries, but a bit of property damage. It was reasonable to determine that it was a shared responsibility incident. We had a dispassionate discussion with Lior and quickly found a satisfactory solution without involving the courts or insurance companies. So...add 'reasonable' to Lior's character traits. Our new roof looks terrific. Lior didn't cut any corners. If you consider United for your project, you will not be disappointed!

We had a tight deadline to replace the upper roof on a home we had just purchased, so we needed efficient, affordable, and reliable service. Even though we were out of state and never met in person, communication was smooth and consistent from the very beginning. Weather delays were clearly explained, we were kept informed about scheduling and roof color options, and the team stayed in touch throughout the entire process. We would work with United Roofing California again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to everyone in Los Angeles. If you want a no-hassle, professional, and efficient job, this is the company to call!

I needed to replace a 50-year-old roof & two skylights on my house. I got a couple of estimates…read morethat were pretty close in price. The second estimate was from EBA Roofing. I intended to get a few more estimates, but the project manager at EBA (Manny) let me know that he really wanted the job & they could start the next day, so I decided to have them do it. The cost was $30,000.00. This was the first time I had a roof replaced, so I had a few questions about the condition of the wood under the shingles. Manny explained that any wood that needed to be replaced would be extra. I knew from previous estimates that there would be bad wood where there were leaks & there were only four areas in the house where the roof leaked. I was home during the job & I was able to see how much wood was carried up to the roof because there was only one area where a ladder was used to access the roof & it was visible from my third floor living room windows. There were 4 sheets of plywood & (at the most) 7 or 8 2x4's. When the job was completed & the final payment was due, I was presented with a bill for $7,320.00 for "Extra Wood." I was given an invoice to "explain" the extra charges - a total of 491 square feet of wood. I reminded Manny that I watched all the wood being carried up to the roof & it was nowhere near what was claimed & adding $3,367.00 to the total cost was outrageous. The price per square foot was also ridiculous. To give them the benefit of the doubt & see if they might have made a mistake when measuring the amount of wood replaced, I also discussed this issue with the owner - "Ben." Of course, he wasn't interested in reviewing it.....until I posted a review to prevent others from being ripped off; then he offered to reimburse me $1,100.00 if I deleted my review. Although that was insufficient, in the interest of resolving the issue, I agreed. Interestingly, the owner asked, "How do I know you will delete your review after I reimburse you?" I responded, "How did you know my checks for $30,000.00 would be good?" (Dishonest people often think everyone else is dishonest). I mentioned to Manny that water was flowing off one section of the roof & was getting under a door into the den. Manny recommended replacing the rain gutters in that small section and another small section above a balcony. He gave me an estimate for those two sections of rain gutters (approximately 8 ft) - $5,300.00. Pure greed! I had another company replace ALL the rain gutters (130 ft) & install 5 Downspouts (60 ft.) on my entire house for $2,195.00. When I mentioned these issues to the owner, he responded, "Well, I already fired Manny." In 2025, during rain, I noticed leaking in two areas near air conditioning vents. I thought the ducting was the problem, so I contacted the company that previously installed my air conditioner on the roof. After the technician inspected the two areas & took several photos, he explained that the leaking was caused by missing nails on the flashing around the ducts, which was the responsibility of the roofer. He said he could seal the two areas with material & it would cost $325.00. Since it was raining and EBA Roofing takes several days to respond (if they respond at all) & I didn't want more water damage in my home, I had him do the repair. On 11-15-25, I e-mailed the detailed invoice and the photos to EBA Roofing & requested reimbursement. I also mailed the entire package to EBA Roofing. I got no response. On 11-20-25, I noted more leaking - this time from the roof. I called EBA Roofing and an office employee said they "will call me back when they get a confirmation time." On 11-25-25, a technician came & said, "Uh...I forgot my ladder at my last job & I will be back in a few hours." He returned several hours later. I watched him apply some type of material on the area. He said, "If you get any more leaks, call me." I then explained the previous situation of the leaking from the flashing. I also handed him a printed copy of the detailed invoice from the air conditioning company along with more photos - (in addition to my previous e-mail and regular mailed documents & photos which were all ignored). And I reminded him that it was the third time I have provided the information without a response. He said, "I'll give them to the owner." On 12-7-25, after being ignored for almost a month, I called EBA & spoke to a technician. He said they were not responsible for the problem & I should have contacted them earlier. I reminded him that they take several days to respond & I didn't want more water damage in my house. He just kept repeating, "You should have called us earlier." 12-15-25: EBA Roofing phoned me & said "We will be there to repair all the leaks if you are nice & take down the review." Two guys from EBA checked the roof, & blamed the leaks on "My neighbor's overhanging tree branch that is dripping water on the roof." Obviously, they think their customers are stupid.

Wanting to do right by the homeowner, I reached out to Lee and asked if he'd be willing to come take a look and provide an unbiased assessment of whether the issue was roof-related and how we could best solve it. Without hesitation, Lee rearranged his schedule, met me and the homeowner on site, clearly explained where the issue was with the window, showed video to clearly explain the issue, and helped us come up with a solid solution. His professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help spoke volumes. This experience is a great reminder that even though we may be competitors, we can still work together, collaborate, and help one another for the good of the homeowner and our community. That kind of integrity is what truly sets good businesses apart. Lee with AAA Roofing is a prime example of what it means to be a good neighbor and a great business owner. I'm grateful for his help and proud to work alongside professionals like him in this industry.

In today's online world, finding a qualified, reliable, honest, friendly, helpful, and trust worthy…read moreroofing contractor is not an easy task. Today I found one of the best. I had the good luck to be referred to Lee Yosef and family owned AAA Roofing company. A few weeks ago, during an early winter storm I had the homeowners nightmare of a leaking roof. Being a 21st Century kind of guy Lee went directly to Google Earth and looked up my roof and was able to assess the situation....one that I had not considered....I have a roof full of solar panels. Oops I forgot about those. He advised me that I would need to have the section of the panels in the area of the leak removed so he could come out and troubleshoot the roof, find the leak and repair it. He knew I didn't need a new roof, he knew that I live in Venice Beach and his office is in Calabasas, and he knew it was coming up on a holiday weekend. Remember this is likely not going to be a huge job and the owner of the company saying that he will be coming himself. Nevertheless he put me on his schedule the Monday morning after the holiday. At this point his office manager and wife Anita took over. We texted back and forth frequently always keeping me in the loop. She helped me coordinate with my solar company so everything could be done at the same time. This is a family business and even though we had never met or done business before I felt a personal touch that is not usually the norm. Monday after the holiday weekend Lee arrives as scheduled, spends over an hour on my roof, and finds the source of the leak. He doesn't try to upsell me, or schedule one of his assistants to come back another day to repair what he found. He heads back down to his truck, grabs materials, goes back up to the roof, makes the needed repairs. I ask him if I can give him a check to pay for the work and he says something to the effect: "That's Ok, no charge." Now I'm not saying that Lee and AAA Roofing in Calabasas works for free, but for a company to go out of their way to help a homeowner make sure that a little problem does not turn into a big problem says more than I can adequately express. When the time comes to solve a big roofing problem there is no question of who I will call. Lee & Anita Yosef, AAA Roofing.
