    Over priced furnitures. Sales associates are like glue. He literally kept following us in whole shop even though we said we will look around shop by ourselves. Not a good shopping experience. Not so huge shop and lacks varieties. Not returning here again.

    Buyer be warned! Shame on Mega Furniture store and Barb! I purchased a very expensive couch over Black Friday. I was not going to buy the couch because it was too big for my living room. Barb, the manager at the Happy valley store, told me that I could simply remove one of the recliners no problem so that it would work for my living room. She told me this couch was amazing quality and worth every penny. All lies! On my first delivery on December 7th the couch wasn't fitting together. I immediately told the delivery drivers, that I did not want to accept the couch. I got on the phone with somebody at the warehouse who assured me they would send me two more pieces so that it would fit properly. Leaving the couch at my house. I immediately called Barb and told her. On December 19th they came out for a 2nd time and brought me two more pieces. It still didn't fit together. They were the same as the other 2. I called Barb, she sent a "tech" a specialist to come back to my home to look at the couch on Dec 30th. He told me that because a piece was removed it would not fit together properly no matter how many times they swap it. I immediately called Barb and told her to come get the couch and I want my money back. She told me there were no returns even though the contract that I signed is voided because of a material breach on their end. She also told me that the tech was incorrect even though he was the specialist she told me that the pieces are individual and they all fit together. She disregarded my request to come get the couch instead sent somebody out to my house AGAIN for a fourth time on January 6th with you guessed it, 2 more pieces. This is where my story gets really fun. They deliver the recliner on the end and the centerpiece as they've done two times before. Not only does it not fit together or line up in the back, but the new recliner that they sent me is not even the same material as the other recliner on the other end of the couch. It is cheap material, looks and feels like foam. The stitching is not stitched together properly and can feel the wood and when you recline it, it doesn't lay flat like the other recliner. It puffs up. Also while this is going on for the last month, the recliner that came with the original delivery is starting to show signs of wear on the cushion. I am the only one who has Sat of it. So now I have multiple issues and Barb cannot be reached by phone. I try to find a corporate number but it's the same number for their warehouse and the same person answers every time. I go back down to the store in person and Barb tells me to send her an email with all the pictures and she'll see what she could do. I do that immediately, a week goes by no response. Another week goes by and she tells me that Mega Furniture stands by their merchandise and declines any further responsibility. Say what!?? I hire an attorney and they send a demand letter. She acknowledges that she read it and then doesn't respond to my demands for a refund and to come take the couch away from my house. This was a $3200 couch. This is not a $1000 couch from Big Lots.. Because I am a good person, I refrained from posting negative reviews in hopes that Mega Furniture and Barb would make things right. They chose not to, and I never want anyone to experience the same misfortune as myself. Now I have to spend more money to go to small claims court, attorney fees etc and I'm stuck with a horribly made couch that they misrepresented at the store. Not to mention the four times that I needed to be at home for them to come to my house and never fix the issue. All durning the holidays at that. In the meantime, payments are coming off of my credit card for this couch for the last 3 months. I do not recommend anyone waste their time and money as I did. It has caused me nothing but grief. They do not have integrity and say they stand by their merchandise. I find it interesting that on their Facebook page they state " we are not happy, unless the customers happy" and that they " back every sale with the best customer service in the industry."
