Hector's is my favorite place to buy furniture! Their salesmen are extremely helpful - without…read morebeing overbearing. (Unlike other furniture stores where the salespeople stalk you like vultures as soon as you walk thru the door.) Ernie and Hector were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable about a variety of different manufacturers when we were trying to decide on a new master bedroom set (did I mention how patient they were also?). Hector's carries all the major brands of furniture we were interested in - Bassett, Stanley, Broyhill - plus they can order from any other furniture manufacturer you can think of! Their prices are much more reasonable than some of the other furniture stores we visited, too. Our bedroom furniture was delivered on schedule and the delivery team was very thorough in setting everything up just where we wanted it. We will be retuning to Hectors for all of our future furniture purchases!

You do have to sign a piece of paper though. They still haven't restocked the Radlers that are still on sale, but a lot of Xmas stuff is out on the floor now. They have like the comfiest chairs ever, and it's never really crowded in here, which is great. I do like their Korean food section, and wish they had more. I've looked at their clearance, but it seems like a lot of it isn't really worth looking through. Overall, they have a lot of different cute things around the store, so it's fun looking at their collection of items. I do hope that they can carry more products in the future.

There was Pier One & there was Cost Plus - Pier One was the more corporate experience option. Then Cost Plus grew up. Some changes were immediate, some took a long time. I think it comes down to how I feel when I think of going there, specifically the one in Brea. This isn't a grocery store - why do we have to pay for bags? I'm buying bottles of wine & dishes, picture frames - if I buy dishes and home decor at Macy's, I'm not required to buy a bag. It was always part of my Christmas tradition to make Cost Plus my first stop for gifts - but a couple of Christmases ago, I bought a whole cart full of wine & food gifts. I was not allowed to take the cart to my car, I had to leave the cart in the store and trust that the employee helping me wouldn't be pulled away by time I brought my car around. And it was raining by the way. Once upon a time, the store would reward members with a $10.00 birthday gift. That got changed to a discount. So every once in a while I get a text message telling me about a promotion and I used to enjoy getting those messages. Now I just delete them.

1 Star -- Absolutely terrible service and zero quality control…read more We bought a bed frame from Living Spaces, and it broke almost immediately. That was headache #1. We scheduled a replacement, waited for them to show up, and when the technicians finally arrived... they didn't even bring all the necessary parts to assemble it. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing their mistake right away, they told us it's going to take an entire month just to come back with the missing parts. So now we're left sitting with a half-assembled, unusable bed frame taking up space in our bedroom for four weeks because of their incompetence. No urgency, no customer care, and cheap furniture. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.

They have a lot of furnitures for your bedroom, living room, and dining room, not so much for the bathroom, but they also got some really good rugs, there were lots of different kinds of recliners. They also had some really cool leather couch/recliners sets, I'm sure you can get it separately if your place doesn't have a lot of room. If they have the stock available, I'm pretty sure they can deliver them the next day and put it together for you especially the bed sets, they come in boxes. Trust me, the first time I put a bed together, I screwed it in too far and it cracked the wood, thank goodness it wasn't so bad. So let the professionals do it for you, don't try to do it yourself and mess it up lol. Then as I was about to leave, I also met the other owners there, Julio, he was a nice guy too but a little quiet. They are brothers, they don't look alike though. We talked a little about how businesses are doing, because there are so many furniture stores around now and they even have them on the internet, is hard for family owned stores. But you know this store is good business because they been around for a looong time. And they're reliable, that's why customers keep coming back to them. If you just move or need new furnitures, I would recommend coming here. Last year we set up our theater room and designed it with two rows. The guy who installed everything offered to build a six-inch platform for the second row but we didn't like the way that would look and the possibility of stubbing our toes in the dark. We found these chairs and bam, problem solved. They look good, comfortable, and give us the height we needed, while keeping the space looking slick and professional. The sales persons were very helpful and answered all my wife's questions. Delivery and set up were simple and easy for me to do it myself. Recently one of the chair's stopped reclining. Unfortunately, I didn't buy the extended warranty (which was really not expensive compared to the cost of the chairs, so my bad), however when we called 4Seating, Megan and her support team were more than willing to walk us through some troubleshooting, they provided a few videos for some do-it-yourself troubleshooting and I was able to isolate the issue. I like doing that kind of stuff. Anyway, they had the part, it was less than $50 bucks, and my chair is good as new. I can't wait to hook up the rumble shock module and really take our movie experience to the next level. GW!
