I said I only needed my key fob changed and they were like that's all you're not looking at a different car. Walked in the door and literally two steps in the door and there's another five employee standing. What can we help you with interested in a new car? No, I just want my key fob changed. I felt like I was being attacked and hounded the gentleman that helped change my key fob was fabulous. Very nice and very kind not at all pushy when I left. The five gentlemen were still standing by inside the door never said a word not fine not have a good day. Nothing when I walked out the door. The people are still sitting on a picnic table never bye never have a good day. Never nothing so I guess if you're not gonna buy a new car, you're not interested in speaking to you at all, but why do they swarm on you the second you pull up. It was just a very uncomfortable feeling, but then when you leave, they can't even say goodbye.

He asked for a price...and the salesperson said he couldn't give him one. He said there were some new incentives coming in, so he'd have a price from his sales manager in 2 days. I thought that was incredibly strange -- so what, if my dad wanted a car that day, they wouldn't sell it to him? So two days pass and the salesperson calls. All I'll say is the offer he gave my dad was excellent. I had done my research on True Car, so I knew what he could expect in the way of discounts, and their first offer (albeit after two days) beat what I expected. The car ended up being too cramped for my dad's liking, so he went another route, but the lack of pushiness from the salespeople was really refreshing. They were very polite and professional through the whole process.

Scheduled a basic oil change and inspection…read more My wife and I were met with friendly service advisors and we were given a free shuttle to breakfast and back. Unfortunately, that is all the highlights of today's service experience. After being checked in, I requested that all communication be sent via text msg. This did not happen. I received numerous calls from the new advisor and when I called back I got someone else's voicemail (presumably someone doesn't work there anymore). There seems to be a real disconnect between the advisors and the shop. After returning to the service department, we were told it would be 2-5minutes for the truck to be completed and pulled around so we could leave. 30-40 minutes later, we found out that the oil change was not yet completed because they were out of my specified oil (5w30). After 10 minutes passed I inquired again about the progress on my truck. There was another helpful advisor that said he thought he saw an oil delivery on the counter behind him. Sure enough the oil was delivered and my advisor was not informed. Finally, the oil was added and we were allowed to leave. When we got home, I looked under the hood and noticed they didn't even fill up my windshield wiper fluid which is less that half. It was really disappointing experience today and I hope they iron out their issues.

We were suppose to drive it a couple of weeks to make sure everything was good, and still owed us a tank of gas, right side mirror and leak in rear window but wanted us to wait to make sure what they fixed was working. Manager from service called me personally and said after 2 weeks if truck is good they will fix rest, and take care of our gas and would also send someone to pick it up with a replacement. So all sounds great 10 days later the truck broke again from what they said they fixed so I called and now they seem to forget everything they told me and want me to waste my gas and travel 2 hours to drop it off with no replacement. Not only is the owner a liar but the whole staff is. I will file more with federal trade commission, BBB, and whoever else I need to. Do not buy a car from these people, they are scammers, liars and only want your money most cars are not even inspected b4 selling them which is illegal to do. I will shut this place down rather than be screwed over with a 30,000 truck. Drew was our sales associate and was friendly and it felt like we have known him for years! We test drove the car and it looked and handled great, there was a light on the Drew said was probably a low battery because it had been in the show room for over 3 months. We talked it over and purchased the vehicle. By this time it was late Saturday afternoon and we had a 2 hour drive to get back home. We finished our paperwork and decided to stop at a restaurant to grab a bite before our drive home. When we finished the car wouldn't start because the battery was dead! So I called Drew and within 15 minutes he showed up with a new battery! He took the dead battery out and realized Autozone gave him the wrong battery. He apologized and headed off again, this time he drove back to Jabaay and grabbed a battery that was the correct size that looked brand new. He installed the new battery and put the trunk back together. (Yes, I said trunk!) Audi TTS has the battery in the trunk and it's quite the process to install a new battery! He stayed until we fired it up and no engine lights we on! We would recommend this Dealership and especially Drew to anyone looking for a quality used car. It's been about a month and we love our TTS! Thank you Jabaay! And Drew, thank you for service above and beyond! Boyd and Rhonda Minton

I flew from Virginia to Indiana to pick the truck up and what should have been a straightforward cash purchase turned into an 8-hour ordeal at the dealership. Before traveling there, I specifically asked whether I needed a cashier's check and was told I did not. Once I arrived, they suddenly did not want to accept my personal check and also refused to accept a business check, which is ultimately why the purchase had to be completed in my personal name instead of through my company. The problems continued after the sale. There was a major delay getting the MSO/title paperwork, which created registration issues, and I paid $2,455.35 in Indiana reciprocal sales tax at the dealership only to later end up paying Virginia sales tax again because the credit could not be properly applied. I eventually had to file a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. The dealership's attorneys are now blaming the title/entity structure, despite the fact that the dealership itself refused to accept the business check that would have allowed the transaction to be completed under the business name in the first place. At this point I've spent months dealing with paperwork, DMV issues, tax issues, and legal correspondence over what should have been a simple truck purchase. If you are buying from out of state, especially as a business owner, I would strongly recommend getting every payment, title, tax, and registration detail in writing before making the trip.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TEAM IMPORTS!! Team Audi Volkswagen in Merrillville tried to pull a bait…read moreand switch on my wife and me. Here are the details. My wife and I have been searching for a VW Tiguan to purchase right away. We finally decided on a specific model, which Team Imports' website said they had on their lot. We decided to contact the dealership via their inquiry button on the website. We received a phone call and email at 4:04PM requesting we make an appointment, which we made for 5:45PM. We live over 40 miles away from the dealership, so we departed our home around 4:30PM, very excited to purchase a new Tiguan. That excitement turned to anger and frustration when we arrived at TEAM around 5:30PM. We were greeted outside the dealership. I went inside to use the bathroom, while the salesperson informed my wife that the Tiguan we inquired about had "just been sold to a woman who traded in a truck". They also informed us they had no Tiguans on their lot. My wife and I were so upset, there were no words to be shared, so we just walked out. What were they thinking would happen? Did they think they could talk us into a different model? Did they really think I would spend $40,000 with a dealer who lied to me? I have purchased a few cars in my day and know that the paperwork to obtain a new automobile takes longer than an hour. Even if it didn't take that long, why wouldn't the dealer call me and let me know the specific car I inquired about had been sold? TEAM collected all this information during the inquiry process on their website. No apologies, no offer to pay for the $15.00 in gas we burned to go to the dealer, no email this morning apologizing, no nothing. In fact, I received a marketing email from them today, which tells me they just don't care about their customers. You should stay clear of this company. They do not operate with integrity.
