I have brought easily 70 items for dry cleaning, hemming, and alterations. The turnaround has always been great and the owners ensure complete satisfaction before you pay. The woman behind the counter said "It's your lucky day" and she handed him an envelope with $60 inside. He had left the money in one of the items he had brought in for cleaning. They actually gave it back. They actually didn't steal it! That type of honesty should be rewarded by repeat and new business. My brother also mentioned they are very reasonably priced. They're definitely a hell of a lot cheaper than the place I took my shirt to be cleaned here in Toronto. r

I had the pleasure of using Suds Laundry for the first time and I can confidently say that I…read morereceived exceptional service. Catherine, the attendant, went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was comfortable and stress-free. She patiently showed me how to use the coin-operated machines and even loaned me a mesh laundry bag big enough to fit my king-size comforter to keep it safe during the dry cycle. At only seven dollars for a 27-minute XL wash cycle and two dollars for a 25-minute Large dry cycle, the prices are incredibly affordable. I was delighted to be able to use my preferred detergent and Oxiclean for my very sensitive skin. As a young, petite female, I felt completely safe at Suds Laundry. Catherine was always available to provide assistance or advice, and the front and back doors were continuously left open. The laundromat is located in a nice area, and there are stores nearby to get snacks while you wait. Suds Laundry's clientele who visited were friendly and welcoming. Before my visit, I spoke with the owner over the phone, and he kindly explained everything and answered all of my questions. Suds Laundry is a family-owned business, and I highly recommend supporting them. My experience was excellent, and I would definitely use Suds Laundry again. One of the things that impressed me the most was Catherine's attention to detail. She even offered me a clean plastic bag to put my dried comforter in, free of charge, when I realized I forgot mine at home. At other laundromats, I've had to pay for every little thing, so I was pleasantly surprised. Clearly, the owner has trained his staff well in providing superior customer service. I do have a couple of suggestions to make Suds Laundry even better. It would be helpful to have a step ladder or step-stool for short people to pour detergent into the washer. Also, a few more rolling baskets would be useful. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Suds Laundry, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy and affordable laundromat.

DON'T DRY CLEAN OR CLEAN YOUR ITEMS HERE! I used to dry…read moreclean many of my clothes - from Hermes silk scarves to men's suiting. 2 examples why you SHOULD NOT use this company. 1. Max Mara vanilla linen suit. I only took in my pants. My pants returned a dirty grey colour. Apparently, Dove used an old dirty solvent/solution. 2. Greta Constantine black bodice/white skirt dress. The white section came back with blue (evident bleach stains) marks all over the front and back. I refused to take it and asked them to send it back. I received it back - it looked fine in the garment bag in the facility. I brought it home and it is damaged. The blue colour is gone, however, the stains of the residue of the bleach is still there. They refused to give me my money back for the cleaning. I am so upset as both pieces above are not replaceable. I WILL NEVER RETURN. AND RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEMS, DON'T SEND THEM HERE.

Due to an issue with both my washer and dryer at home, my family quickly decided that we needed to…read morefind a laundromat in Port Credit. Faced with a few different options, we settled on Suds - and I'm glad we did. I've walked by this place so many times that I almost forgot it existed. Going inside, you're greeted with a massive number of options. The front desk allows you to buy per-load detergent or softener, including a couple of variants like Oxi-Clean (obligatory shout-out to my boy Billy Mays). There are approximately 25 dryers and 20 washers, with the latter costing anywhere from $3.50 - $8 (for large loads like comforters and bedding). There's a "valet" service where you can pay about $20 to have one of the employees handle your laundry on-site, with a note put on some washers for customers to pick up their stuff. We found the process to be straightforward and easy. There's a change machine on-site that dispenses coins for $5, 10 or 20 bills. Despite the note on the machine, it doesn't dispense tokens. The dryers are relatively cheap, and it pays (literally) to go during some weeknights, as it's half-price per 10 minutes of drying time. The place was a hive of activity on the Sunday I went, with most being older residents - the exception being the temptress employee who looked way too young and walked around doing laundry in a halter top and low-cut shorts while stealing glances. Your charms don't fool me. If I have a criticism of this place, it's the parking out back. While there is parking, it's not immediately noticeable from the street, and we had a car who parked in a tight spot beside our vehicle when there was a whole row of empty spots on the other side (albeit marked with "Reserved" signs. That said, there's a lot to love. One 30-minute wash cycle is good enough for most loads, and 30 minutes of dryer time is adequate. The site is easy to access (it even has wheelchair-accessibility), and everyone is generally friendly. Suds is well worth visiting in a pinch, and I can see why it's been a mainstay of the Port Credit community for so long. Recommended.
