The henna application only took around ten minutes to complete. The young artist was efficient and skillful. I was definitely impressed and received many compliments here in Detroit and in Atlanta. The prices are super reasonable. I believe I paid a total of $50 for application on both hands. I requested an intricate traditional looking design on one hand and my Sun sign on the other. There is a huge parking lot as this salon is located in a strip mall at 8 Mile Road and Woodward. Though I did not receive eyebrow services, I observed a few that looked fantastic. I made an appointment with her for time reasons trusting her instagram posts. On arrival to the appointment I showed her a previous cut for reference and I told her I wanted a short framing in the front and bangs. The appointment went ok, the chat was pleasant. She did a wet cut which is ok and as soon as she was done she did a blow dry to my hair without showing me my hair length or shape BEFORE stylizing my hair. I was ok with that since I showed her a reference picture and I was trusting her skills. I had to keep asking to do my bangs shorter since she kept leaving them too long but she did. Once the appointment was done she showed me the back of my hair with a mirror and with the blow dry she did it looked good but I definitely couldn't tell about the actual shape since she styled it and I decided to trust the process. The next day after washing and doing my hair normally I did notice that the framing I asked for was not symmetrical and some of my clumps looked extremely uneven/flimsy; along with realizing that the back looked like it had a straight cut so I panicked because I had my wedding coming up next week and my hair turned out not how I asked. Uppon realizing that I send her a text asking if she does corrections/adjustments for previous haircuts and then I proceeded to sent her images via Instagram going into detail, I asked if she could squeeze me before or after her scheduled appointments but she took about 22-23 hrs to respond and her response was telling me that I could've said something when I was still on the chair and that she will not give me a full haircut (I never asked ask for a full haircut, I just wanted corrections about framing and the general shape if possible). Her response came out as unprofessional and entitled in my opinion which left me absolutely no desire to come back. A couple minutes after she sent some other messages with a less rude demeanor but after the initial "you could've said something here" and the unnecessary "and I won't be giving you a full haircut" I wasn't feeling like trusting her with my hair. I will leave the screenshot and images for reference to be transparent. It definitely seems like she got offended somehow even when the haircut she gave me looks nothing like what I asked. Seems like the problem to her is that I trusted her skills and I didn't micromanaged the haircut. Leaving 2 starts because the service was ok, she definitely knows how to cut hair, but for experienced curly/wavy girlies I would advice to skip the service and go to an specialist. You do get what you pay for when it comes to textured hair.

Then she goes into the facial and wants me to purchase an orange peel???? I ask how much -- at least another $150 - no way!!!!! I say thank you, but no thanks. She then begins her process on me and is telling me about the products from France and how spectacular they are and that I should purchase them from Nadwa Salon. High pressure on purchasing their products. Upon leaving I decide to purchase night cream for $55; and small bottle of exfoliating powder for an additional $10.50. So the add-ons should have cost me an additional $115.00. When I get home I see that the bill was $146.73. Even to add tax to my total amount should have been $121.90. So, they cheated me out of an additional $25.00. Just be aware of the services and products and how much your add-ons are!!! Nadwa Hair Spa you can keep your services I will visit another spa. Leya was very good at what she does and I am sure she is pressured from administration to push spa products to the consumer. I did not want to write a bad review, but the treatment I have received left me no choice: Hello, why did you let me leave unhappy when you promised me that you would not do so. I have never been to a spa that did not make any adjustments ever. This is why customers are always given a two week return appointment. You chose to do filler and botox on my lower face. I never asked for it. Then you just let me walk out of your establishment unhappy, this is so very wrong. I gave you almost $2,500, and you just basically let me leave unhappy. I told you the other day I wanted to cry because my friend asked me what was wrong with my face. I can't believe this has happened, with tears rolling down my face I would like to make a complaint about my experience there to the owner, please. I chose this spa, it was near my home and they had a same day availability for me as I was attending a party later that evening and I sincerely wanted some filler and botex. When I arrived I stated I wanted filler in my cheeks and botox in my forehead, 11 lines, and crow's feet. I wanted filler in my cheeks. It was suggested that I should get both in my chin, and the lower sides of my face, I shared I had never had any injections on the lower of my face. I did want botox under my chin for my turkey neck but was told it would not help. I also wanted some injections in my lips but was told they would be bruised and possibly be noticeable at the party I was to attend, so it was suggested to get a lip flip. I never heard of it but I was good with that. In the end my bill was close to $2,500. I had no intention of spending this kind of money, but if it was going to make me look beautiful it would be worth it. I wasn't 100% pleased, but I was hoping that in a few days I would receive more satisfaction in my face. I was told to return in a couple of weeks for the final consultation to see if any adjustments were needed, she did not tell me this but I have been getting injections for over10 years and this is the procedure for every spa I've gone to. A few days ago, I called to complain about wrinkles on both sides of my mouth. I was told to send pictures, and was told it was because of the lip flip to give it more days. A couple of days later I received a call to come in. I went to the appointment this evening, and for over 30 minutes I was told over and over and shown a chart over and over of how little filler I actually received and that I needed more but she was trying to save me money. She acknowledged the wrinkles but said nothing can be done and the botox had to run its course,, in about 4 - 6 weeks. I said I had rather purchased more filler than had the suggested filler and botox placed in my chin. She explained that she did not want to give me more filler in my cheeks because I would have too much swelling, and needed to wait until later. I again said I didn't ask for the lower injections, that I was not the expert, I was just going with what was suggested to me. I knew by now that I was not going to get any adjustments unless I paid more, why should I do this when I was not happy with the outcome of the money I had already spent. She finally said I could put some more botox in the jawline but your neck is going to seem like its pulling. I said we have to do something, she then said it was no guarantee that it would help. No matter what she was not going to make any free adjustments, especially when it came to the filler. I just wanted her to really care. She promised me on the phone that she would not leave me hanging, that she wanted me to be happy, but in the end she didn't care. I am extremely upset. This is bad business. I can't get this terrible treatment out of my mind. To be honest, the reason why it hurts so incredibly badly is because my aunt just passed and left me money and this is what I wanted to do with some on it. I feel so very badly
