What started out as a "weatherization" to my home through my electric company CoServ to qualify for…read moreTCOG's utility assistance program. Now I have damages to my roof where they added vents to "blow in insulation to my attic", which caused leaks and mold. They did a temporary fix by applying peel and seal around the vents which did not fix the problem. The ceiling in my dining room, kitchen and the adjoining walls has mold. I tried multiple times to complain to the Board of Directors, the director and management. I was denied. A mold inspection company (at TCOG's request) came to my home and did an inspection, it tested positive for mold. I am disable and the Director, Eric informed me that I would have to go in person to complete a complaint. I live in Denton county and can not travel. I was continuously denied a telephone or virtual meeting with the Board of Directors. The only response that I have received is a letter from their attorney requesting a waiver that the only work they would cover is the dining room ceiling. In addition, this does not include the extensive damages that their contractor caused to my water pipes underneath my master bathroom by leaving the pipe uncovered during the freeze...I was also denied assistance for electric assistance when I reapplied last January which I feel was related to my complaints of the damages.
