I showed up to Medway Imports knowing what car I was interested in. The price was actually below Blue Book for an absolute cherry of a car. I gave them my license to photocopy, and I was driving the Murano Platinum in about five minutes...great vehicle. I told them I'd pay the asking price if they fix a small dent and put my trailer hitch on it. They did these two things...all good, everyone happy. The car later failed inspection because the front tires were a little too bald. I thought Medway might try to get cute and put two used tires on the front so it would pass. I underestimated them...four new tires. I had already had the car about six weeks. They probably could have weasled out of it, but they put $700 worth of rubber on the car for me with a smile and a handshake. These people have good business ethics. read more

Went to look at a car that was priced at $45,995, kind of dirty inside for something that has been detailed and there was a small dent in the back very small like dime sized so I figured since I was going to have to spend time and money cleaning it properly I would offer 45,500 was told "nope " by the owner. I almost bought a car from this dealer and was very interested in a 2018 Ford Expedition Max Limited they had. After test riding, I asked why the engine bay was so filthy (it was in an absolutely terrible state for a 3 year old car). There was also considerably more rust than usual on the undercarriage, possibly because it was a Canadian truck. I got a response they they never clean or do anything with the engine bay and it kind of is what it is -- and the rust was normal. Fair enough...maybe -- I loved the truck after driving it and made an offer which was rejected flat out, so I told the sales guy I was very interested anyway and wanted to work out a deal as it had some nice options. He told me he would get my number to the owner who would call me back, I never got a call. I left an email message via their website a day later and never got a call back or email response either. I called a few days after that and made another offer over the phone, the same sales guy wouldn't budge even a few hundred dollars on a $55k used car, when I asked if he would throw in a free tank of gas if I purchased at thier list price, he very grudgingly said yes. He did agree to allow me to take the truck to a Ford dealer to get a pre-purchase inspection. I agreed to purchase the truck at their list price if it had a clean bill of health from Ford. During the course of arranging all this, I had to talk to the same guy over the phone a few times. Each time I spoke with him, I felt like he was trying to rush me off the phone or I was inconveniencing him in some way or that he wasn't taking me seriously or at best, maybe he was lazy or it was just his rushed manner -- who knows. He just didn't give me any warm and fuzzy feelings about dropping $55k on a used truck. The morning I was going to take the truck to Ford in Franklin, I was chatting with my wife and just decided that there was too much wrong in they way they handled customers and sales. I kept thinking.. what if there were to be some problem with the Truck after the purchase -- forget it, they wouldn't do anything for me. Anyway, It bothered me enough to doubt the validity of the deal or have any confidence in the dealer, so I canceled. can't really speak for much else except in my case at least, they didn't seem much interested in selling cars. I really don't like to leave crappy reviews, but it may help them think about how they deal with serious prospective buyers In the future. I can tell you, they one hundred percent lost a cash sale (at thier list price) -- all because of poor salesmanship. I bought a 2019 Expedition a few days later from Long Cadillac in Southboro for a few thousand more -- all because I lost confidence in this dealer. 6 weeks later, I checked and they still haven't sold that truck -- I can't say I'm surprised. Don't let it stop you from looking though, they have some very nice cars, but be aware of the aforementioned. read more

Unfortunately I have to break with the 5 star reviews. I recently bought a 2014 F-150 Lariat through Medway. What they did well: Prompt in answering emails and up front about pricing. The actual purchase process was relatively painless and I got what I asked for with my trade. It helped that I brought my own financing. What didn't go so well: The hub(s) failed not 1, not 2 but 3 times! To be fair Medway did replace the hubs but it became clear that there was something else wrong with the truck causing this. The first two repairs were very prompt but the third took over two weeks to get in the shop. On top of this truck was miserable to drive on the highway, the backend was very floaty and there was a constant heavy vibration through the pedals and seat. Medway kept saying everything was causing by the bearings (clearly not) In the end I got rid of the truck, It was clear that it was never going to be completely fixed. Very disappointed read more

I have a Triumph TR6 and contacted Medway Imports to see if they worked on Triumphs. I spoke to Barry and he said they absolutely do. I took the TR6 there to replace a frozen ignition switch. The work was completed quickly and at reasonable cost. Medway Imports I had been looking for a nice Mercedes E350 wagon for months with little success. I came across two wagons on Cars.com that had just come in at Medway Imports. I called and spoke to Dan, who was very professional, knowledgable, friendly and helpful, and it was obvious that he was very different than most salesman I had previously dealt with. When my wife and I arrived, Dan was tied up, but Barry stepped right in to help us while Dan finished up with his previous customer. Barry was equally pleasant and professional, and eager to help us and answer our questions. I found both Dan and Barry to be exceptionally candid about their cars and how they do business. The atmosphere there was very friendly and light-hearted, with absolutely no sales tactics or pressure applied at any time. I had some concerns about the car I was buying because it had been in an accident. They arranged to have the car put on a laser frame machine to insure the car was within specs, which made me feel comfortable with purchasing it. In short, they listened to my concerns, and went out of their way to address them. The entire car buying experience was an absolute pleasure, and unlike any other I have had. Service after the sale was no different, as Dan and Barry very fairly addressed an issue I had with an important missing item from the car. I absolutely love the car I bought, and it was an exceptional value. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from Medway Imports, and would highly recommend them to my friends, relatives or anyone looking to buy a great used car. They are truly a class act. Tom W. He didn't try to inflate the price, kept time charged to a minimal level, and was willing to service parts rather than replace them. They have always been available to MY timelines, as well as up front and honest when it came down to my options. I've also found them to have reasonable pricing. Recently, I brought my vehicle in and Medway Imports diagnosed some known issues and some that I wasn't aware of. In discussing my options with Steve, I decided to not fix my vehicle and trade it in instead. Steve didn't charge me for the diagnostic work performed. The level of honesty is immensely appreciated and has created a loyal customer. I'm 53 years old, I've been buying used cars my entire life. I even worked as a used car salesman for a short time back in the 80's. I'm very familiar with how the game works, I don't mind playing if it's required. A few years ago, I spotted a Corolla on the lot here and stopped by to inquire about it. I liked the kid out on the lot that showed me the car, and I intended to by it. But when we went inside to sit down, his "manager" came in to close the deal.... all I can say is that my intelligence was extremely insulted. Do I look like I just fell off the back of a turnip truck? I looked across the room at the kid, he was squirming in his chair uncomfortably, couldn't look me in the eye. I figured I'd play the game with this clown, if that's the way he wanted to do it, but I finally had to walk out. In my opinion, this was one of the sleaziest used car dealers I have ever dealt with. And that says a lot. Maybe they do a good job in the repair shop, but based on my experience with that "manager", I don't think I'd want to take the chance. read more

Medway Imports is a fantastic auto repair shop! We have a BMW X3 and we brought our car to Medway Imports after a horrible experience with The BMW Gallery in Norwood. Unfortunately our X3 suffered a catastrophic event with resultant engine failure, and BMW Gallery in Norwood quoted us $15,000 to get the car back on the road. We contacted Medway Imports and Barry provided us with a quote over the phone- for less than half the cost of The BMW Gallery's estimate. We had the car towed to his shop, and he completed the work on time (~ 1 week to rebuild the entire engine) and ~$500 under his estimate to boot! Medway Imports is reliable, trustworthy and extremely easy to work with. I will definitely be bringing my BMW here in the future. I highly recommend this auto repair shop. read more

Very bad business, I have had a car from them and know 2 others I know and all 3 cars have been a piece of junk! Non stop problems, overpriced cars that make you upside down on your loans, also they don't honor what they say and frankly lie, took my car to be repaired and had the same problem 1 month later which if they fixed it I wouldn't be going through it again, when you call the owner is very rude and is not willing to help you with issues!
