I walked in and asked for new jewelry for my nostril piercings. The lady wasn't very friendly or talkative, and she gave me the wrong jewelry. She gave me a hoop without telling me I was going to need pliars to open AND close it, and she gave me a stud that was for the opposite side I wanted it in. Then charged me $25 for the 2 pieces. She didn't offer to put them in for me, or even help. She grabbed them with her bare hands, put them in a tiny bag and charged me. Yea I can just switch the jewelry, but I got the stud in (after 10 minutes) and can no longer get it out without it being painful. Also I told her what sides I told her I wanted them in prior to me buying the jewelry. I will be back for more piercings, since it was just a 1 time thing, but I am definitely very upset about this.

It was so amazing and I was so impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a very nice way, my needs were heard and respected, and, oh my, what a selection of different jewelry they have to pick from, very impressive! Adam did my ear piercing and listened to where I wanted the new piercing and Adam double checked before we proceeded with the piercing. But what most impressed me was how he prioritized Sanitation. I think he must have changed his gloves four times after he touched every item needed for the process. He explained aftercare very well. Checkout was wonderful too, they made sure that I knew how to contact them at any time if I had any other questions or concerns after the fact. Oh, and they made sure I knew what the end cost would be even before the actual piercing so there are no surprises at checkout.

I honestly feel bad leaving this review because the piercer was very passionate about the craft,…read morebut the experience was not what I expected. First off, the timing of the appointment was 1.5 hours for just double ear piercings. She spent 30 minutes talking about the future of my ear, but a quick comment asking about future piercings would have been sufficient. It was too much. After signing the consent form, the piercer pulled out a thick binder and started showing me all kinds of pictures and scars and infections from piercings. That felt unnecessary. I told her I brought my sister to double check the piercings were straight as a light hearted comment. That ended making the process so much longer as she went into so much detail on the science of marking the ear. We did not need all the information on how she was going to pierce the ear, I just wanted it straight. At one point, we almost thought about leaving, but we had already invested an hour of our time. I felt uncomfortable trying to figure out how to move the appointment along without hurting her feelings. It became stressful as the customer. At the end of the day, the piercings are straight, the jewelry is good quality, and the piercer had good intentions. Although I just wish the appointment went smoother so we could of spent more time looking jewelry and potentially buying pieces. I felt exhausted by the end of the appointment.

It didn't feel like it was healing at all. Unfortunately I needed to have it looked at but this location was closed on Sunday and Monday. I didn't feel comfortable waiting so I went to another piercing shop to get it checked out. They told me that the jewelry I had wasn't good among other things and it was good I came in because it could have become infected. Now I know that different shops can be biased and have competition but I did change out the jewelry just to see if that would make a difference. It was like night and day. Within the next few hours my ear started to feel better. Then after a few days it got even better. Obviously my piercing will take time to heal but the pain I've been in has gone way down as it heals with the new jewelry. It was disappointing that I couldn't get this checked and that I needed to buy new jewelry and have it changed out.
