I've had the pleasure of the Medranos Cleaning team for 2-3 years now. They are the only cleaners that show up on time and on schedule ALL OF THE TIME. Rudy goes out of his way to change dates for me if I have a conflict or house guests. I usually have a team of 4 and they are excellent cleaners and very respectful. I love coming home and seeing something new cleaned depending on the week, ie. all of the shelves in the refrigerator wiped down, the tops of our desks and dressers slightly rearranged because they actually wipe the whole thing clean rather than just dusting around, and what I like most is if I have a special request, they are more than happy to follow through. Medranos Cleaning started just ok but, one of their workers used clorox wipes on my leather sofa. When I called to discuss the situation (I was just asking for them to communicate with their cleaning team but instead, I was met aggressively and ultimately decided to pause service for awhile. When I tried to re-engage with them i was promptly told they were "too sought after" to resume cleaning services. So much for Giving them the benefit of the doubt.... I would use EXTREME caution when letting them into your home.Never know what's going to be destroyed and how! No accountability or professionalism. read more

This company is extremely inconsistent and you never know what they will do or clean. They often stood on my white sofas in their shoes to clean shutters and broke many glass items and tore a rug.. I never billed them or held them responsible because I felt sorry for them . Finally-the cleaning crew came & did about 50% of their job & wasn't worth the $$ they charged..so the manager replaced them with a new crew who I tried once.. they were better but not up to speed so I was willing to work with them until they actually cleaned things properly...they still just randomly skipped cleaning wood tables & the bathroom counter would be full of dust still when they left.. it was crazy but I tried to have hope until the manager said he was raising my cost by 50% with no notice.. That is such bad shady business. I had yet to have a crew clean it fully and well and was trying to see if the new crew would work and the manager had the audacity to raise costs on me 50% when he should have been checking in to see how that first cleaning went.. It is unbelievable-he was very rude and just didn't care anymore about the quality of the work and just wanted more money for less quality. I never asked them for payment on all the torn & broken items.. he should have treated me a customer better & the workers should learn how to properly clean a house if that's their job. I usually do not write bad reviews, but unfortunately, Rudy, the manager, has been absolutely rude and canceled future services when I texted him about how the last cleaning crew did not do a good job. When I asked Rudy if I could speak to the owner, he finally called me back. I wanted to resolve the issue with him by requesting the crew with the young girl who did an excellent job but he said sorry, he could not figure that out for me. She was the only teenager in the crew and I am sure he could have looked it up but he told me that he could not look it up. When this crew was coming to my house, the cleaning was fine. But he says I have been having the same crew coming to my house. This is not true. Instead of fixing the issue, he said we cannot clean for you because you have too many issues with their cleaning. Maybe, Rudy, we would not have these recurring problems if you train your crew to clean better. Lifting up rugs to vacuum/mop, dusting and wiping down surfaces, scrubbing mildew--these are pretty STANDARD cleaning procedures--not problems that I have with the cleaning. He accused me of lying by saying, "it's hard to believe that the [cleaning] crew did not lift up a rug in the kitchen that had bugs and coffee grounds under it". He also said things like, "you are wrong if you think this is the first time that you have had a problem with the cleaning". And I replied, "No, I am not wrong. I did not say this is the first time I have had a problem. There are multiple times that the cleaning has been terrible". After this rude conversation, he told me he would not forward my name and number to the owners, Erica and Julio to resolve these issues, and instead, Rudy hung up the phone on me. I have been using this cleaning company for years because they have different teams. I kept switching the days hoping that I would find a team that did a good job. The problem is that there are about 4 people on a team so if two people do a subpar job, then you have 50% of your house that was not cleaned well. This is a flawed system. There are great cleaners within a team and I have had some teams that are great, but Rudy cannot guarantee the same people. However, this last time was the worst. Rudy says that he cannot promise the same people will be able to come to your house to clean because people quit all of the time and that with their staff of 34 people they have to adjust. He says that the same crew has come to my house and SCOLDED me that I did not tell him that his crew did a horrible job within 24 hours. I asked him if he would want me to text him at midnight when I discover these types of things and he said yes, he gets these types of messages at odd hours all the time. Then I said ok I'll text you right away. He then accused me again, "You are just going to set them up for failure by texting me pictures of how bad they clean." How does that make sense???? He is accusing me of making future actions of how the cleaning crew was going to do a bad job. What????? Well Rudy, if you are getting a lot of texts saying there are problems with the cleaning service maybe you need to focus on training the people who did not do a good job instead of blaming your customers. I did not discover the mildew build-up in the shower or the incense ashes left, the dusty ledge and dusty table with items on it, and the bugs and debris under the kitchen rug all within a 24-hour window but I was not requesting for them to clean it up. My mistake was that I texted him until after a week had passed, and he was upset. Whenever there is a problem, I bring it to his attention but have never asked them to come back to clean. He has offered which is great as a business. This time I did not ask for the team to come back only how we could resolve it by figuring out the teams that did work out. However, Rudy was not interested in figuring out which teams worked and canceled future services out of spite anyway. He will also make scheduling mistakes regularly and reschedule your cleaning at the last minute. Owners please hire a new manager! read more

Very disappointed with their work! I have had plenty of cleaning companies come to my properties to clean and this one is on top of the worse out there. They think they are always right even when you find and show them pictures of the work they left me. They don't deep clean and argue with the client when you let them know that the work was not finished. Would never use them again! read more

Was in need of a new house cleaning service and found Medranos who from the beginning went above and beyond!!! I called them and spoke to Rudy Castillo who was very accommodating to my requests, and booked my appointment at the time and day I needed. The new management is horrible and I will never used them again!!! I had them mop a tile floor, less than 1,000 sq feet and they left it sticky. I spoke to the manager who was incredibly rude and refused to tell me his name. It is one thing to do a bad job it is another to be rude. I had 2 excellent cleaning services with Medrano, the 3rd time the job was half done- they forgot to clean inside the fridge, microwave, oven! I emailed Rudy with pictures and he responded within 30 minutes. The team came back and cleaned up everything. The crew leader apologized, the woman who actually forgot to clean the stove/microwave didn't say anything and looked upset. I noticed she also wasn't cleaning the whole time and you get charged by the hour. I think it really depends which crew you get and how hard they clean. Mistakes happen, no big. They would 5 stars if they answered their phones. They are pretty responsive by email though. read more

I would like to give a shout out to Medrano's Cleaning! I've used them for years and I am a fan for so many reasons. They are reasonably priced, they are easy to schedule and they've been flexible for me which has been great. They are wonderful at communicating and come when they say with a great crew, who gets it done. When you invite someone into your home for help, and your life is as chaotic as mine, it's great to know you can trust the people who come in, that they'll show up and they'll get the job done. Medrano's does that. They're reliable, trustworthy and they do a great job. If there's anything you want done differently and you ask them they do it they fix it the next time. If you are reading this then it is probably because you came to see what the reviews are of this company...Spoiler Alert: THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST. Rudy is extremely rude and threatening (as other reviewers here have also pointed out). The cleaning crew that was sent never even finished the job. My husband hired them to clean an apartment we were moving in to. It was basically very clean already---but we just wanted to know that it had been "professionally cleaned" before we put our personal things away. We needed a light/gentle cleaning---it was something that I could have done myself, but again, we decided to hire a company (moving is exhausting and I was looking forward to someone else doing the cleaning). They sent a crew of 3 people (our place is tiny, but everything in it is about a year old---so very fresh and new). TWO HOURS later and our small 2 bed/2 bath condo was in the same condition. They also took off a closet door to clean it and put it on backwards (seriously!). Again, the condo was empty AND basically super clean already (the stove was clean, the oven was clean, etc---we only needed surface cleaning to wipe down the shower and wipe down the marble kitchen countertops)---so this just proves that this company is AWFUL. They basically just wave their cloths around and waste time. This company is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! I truly, truly think the few good reviews are written by their friends. Medrano is fantastic and I would not trust another company to clean my home. The crews are always professional and respectful (they still wear masks which I am so grateful for) and are able to divide and conquer within my home to make it spotless in record time. And while they are extremely fast and efficient, they are also very detail oriented and just do an amazing job. I also appreciate that the crews bring all of their own supplies and a vacuum. This cleaning crew is OK if you are in a pinch and want the job done fast. Someone in the community recommended them to me. They let me know also, that they do an OK job. The customer service is fine. There were 2 women and 1 man. I have a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo. Toilets, showers, sinks done. Of course in one hour, no attention to detail (which I was told). To me, it wasn't worth the money spent. They seem like a better fit to clean offices rather than someone's home. read more

What can I say... I've never had a cleaning crew that makes more excuses for cleaning. If you want someone to do surface cleaning then this is the overprice crew for you. Even when they wash the floors you could take your hand and see that all they did was spread the dirt. So we have used Medranos for over 17 years. There work has gotten progressively worse and they do not Complete what they say in their letter that was sent to us with a notice of price increase. Instead they continued to increase rates and offer less service with less and less time at your residence. We have referred well over 25 clients to them and it's sad to see them change so much. Very average cleaning service. Left sticky black spots all over my kitchen floor. When called to complain they just said that I should expect this type of cleaning because they needed more time. Only job needed done was mopping kitchen floor, wiping down kitchen and another room. Not even half the house! Could have cleaned it better myself. Will never use this service again. Convenient. Everything about this cleaning service was convenient! I was able to book through Yelp within a week. The four person cleaning crew arrived on time and got to work right away. One person in the kitchen, the other responsible for bathrooms, one did vacuuming, and the other I think was dusting, baseboards etc. I also love that the job is quick (about an hour) so I didn't need to wait around too long. They made sure I was happy with their cleaning before leaving and it was nice to be able to communicate with Julio through Yelp messenger while they worked. He was very responsive and professional. They usually come with 4 people and clean the windows in addition to the houses. I would recommend them and have to many of my associates. I am a self-admitted terrible house cleaner, only doing the bare minimum for far too long. Although I have hired cleaning people prior, I never found anyone I wanted to use again. This time, I asked my Realtor, knowing she would have a recommendation for a top-to-bottom, nooks and crannies house cleaning company, and she referred me to Rudy at Medranos. In addition they placed my toothbrush in basket on top of my toilet and communication in English was difficult with the crew. The first few visits, they missed many key spots. After relaying this to them, they did bring out one of their "supervisors" to help oversee, and the 4th cleaning was finally to our satisfaction. One time they broke a lightbulb and didn't fully clean it up. Because this referral originally came thru a friend, we wanted to give them a few chances. The poor communication on scheduling, planning and quoting was ultimately why we had to stop using them. The quotes were not accurate. I would always have to stay on top of THEM to remit payment, so some there was some disorganization there. The scheduling was always a few hours off from when they stated they would arrive. Ultimately, it was my feeling so frustration around a last minute quote they provided to me on carpet cleaning, was the last straw. Save yourself the frustration, try somewhere else. read more
