I needed a last minute clean out in 2 days, and i was upset because my cleaners i hired canceled. I found Amy's Housekeeping and they were able to get me in. They came out and walked the apartment and we discussed prices and other small details. They were so accommodating on allergies, preferences and etc. I wasn't sure if I needed to leave the house or to stay in. I was respectfully guaranteed everything would be OK and I could leave and go run some errands. Upon my return I was greeted at the door and they were just finishing up. When I walked in I was so excited, I could tell they listen to what I wanted and what I did not want. We've worked with Amy for three years now, and she and her team provide hands down the best value cleaning service in the LA area. Every other cleaning service I've tried is either significantly more expensive (with a ton of hidden fees), or does not provide enough attention to detail. Amy's team is exceptionally thorough, polite, and fast. Amy herself has great communication and provides that 'local business feel' -- she cares about each client. Amy personally responds to each message to schedule appointments, and at the end of each service, the team does a walkthrough of the home with you to make sure it's to your liking. As we've spent more time working with them, we've passed on additional tasks, such as: laundry, organizing spaces, seasonally deep cleaning certain areas of the home, etc. They have done a great job. I've referred the service to many of my friends who all love it as well! Quoted a deep clean price, with the disclaimer that they don't charge per hour, but rather per the scope of job, and they only accept cash. The price was higher than other companies but based on the positive reviews and the premise that a deep clean is quoted based on scope sounded fair to us - figured that with no time limit, a thorough cleaning is worth it. At 2 hours and 35 mins, the crew was getting ready to leave when we pointed out blatantly missed spots on the floor, the entire fireplace hearth and under a lot of the furniture. The crew told us that actually they only have 3 hours to clean and that the steamer can only pick up so much and that corners/places under furniture sometimes get missed, but if we insisted they would ask the owner. This was the first time anyone told us there was a 3 hour limit, which was a huge contradiction to "we don't charge per hour". The owner said something like they can't clean "gum" off our floors by hand and again said they can't stay longer than 3 hours...which is absurd- there is no gum stuck to the floor anywhere in our house... She also said if wanted a deep floor clean that's an extra charge on top of the deep clean charge we already agreed to. Contradictions and confusion. We asked that at least the crew stay the full 3 hours to try to finish, they addressed some but not all of the missed spots. Overall, mediocre to fair job. Wish we knew that no matter what the scope was, the crew would only stay for 3 hours- seems like a very important detail to communicate when you are up-charging for a "deep clean", cash only. read more

First off, my house is relatively clean. If you count "diarrhea walls" as a wall with scuff marks from wear and tear over the years, then I think most people have "diarrhea walls". When we discussed services offered, you told me walls were included. Second, there were services offered that were not done, such as cleaning inside the fridge and cleaning the inside windows. Apparently if there is privacy tint on half the window, the whole window can't be cleaned. There was no furniture in the way of where I wanted cleaned. A coffee table book is not furniture. However, the "No moving of objects" is a moot point seeing as your employees scratched my furniture. Lastly, you offered to stop by on days I was not home. On days I worked in an office in Downtown LA. I took a WFH day to have your company clean. I am sorry my earning of an income comes in the way of your screw up. You shouldn't have had to come a second time. It should have been done correctly the first time. I am changing my review to one star due to your response. I don't use Yelp often to write reviews but I have to for this one. I would NOT recommend this company at ALL. I'm hugely pregnant, so we hired Amy's housekeeping services to do a deep clean. A DEEP clean. They charged us $390 for 2 hours. 4 workers showed up, and only one of them spoke English, so the other three didn't understand that we had our own cleaning supplies we wanted them to use. I have been getting horrible headaches in my pregnancy, and the supervisor said they could use our supplies as the ones they had would give me a headache. They didn't use our supplies and I ended up having to leave the house and wait a couple of hours while my partner aired it out. We asked them to focus on the floors, as it's hard for me to scrub the floors given my condition. When they left, there was still dirt along the edges of the walls and parts of the floor I still had to get down and scrub myself. They didn't clean behind the toilets. The mirrors upstairs had streak marks on it. This was a standard, average clean that I would have paid a normal fee for - NOT a DEEP CLEAN fee. Also, they tried to come almost an hour early, despite confirming a start time of 3:30. I had a planned my entire day and moved meetings around to make sure I was free during the window of time they said they would come (3:30 - 5 pm). Because they gave pushback and said they would leave if they weren't allowed to come when they wanted to (I could not leave my conference call as I was leading it), my partner had to leave work to come and let them in and show them around. This was just such an abysmal experience. What sucks is that I was so excited about this freaking deep clean. I love keeping a clean house, and the idea of a deep clean was genuinely exciting for me (I know that's dorky, but I really love cleaning!). Anyways, DO NOT use this service. They have pictures of celebrities and stuff, and that's what convinced my partner to hire them. "They must be good!" he said. What's worse, my partner was communicating with the coordinator who arranged the visit, and nothing was done when he told the coordinator (was it the owner? I'm not sure) that they weren't using our supplies, that I was feeling nauseous and getting a headache from the fumes, that they were too early and wouldn't honor the 3:30 - 5 pm window they'd agreed to, etc. And the coordinator/owner did NOTHING to address the issues. OH, WE ALSO JUST GOT OUR KITCHEN CLEANED a week beforehand, as it was newly rennovated and I scrub that damn kitchen every single day. Yet one of the cleaning ladies spent the ENTIRE two hours in there!! We live in a townhouse, our kitchen is TINY, it's like 8 feet by 12 feet...what was she doing in there for 2 hours?! our fridge was new, our microwave was new...anyways. Amy's is great! The owner replied very quickly to my message requesting a quote for a Deep Cleaning of my house (and it was a Sunday!) and we made an appointment for 8:30 Tuesday morning. Right on cue, 4 ladies arrived promptly at 830 as promised, and they were done in 2.5 hours. They had me look over everything before leaving to make sure it was up to my standards, and it exceeded my expectations. They did a fantastic job cleaning and sanitizing the bathrooms (2) and kitchen -- I'd never seen the oven that clean before! It was gleaming. And I can't believe how white they got our shower tiles and grout! I've never been able to get them looking like that. It was def a bit expensive relative to the competitors, but IMO totally worth it bc they are FAST and THOROUGH. Crew was on time and overall did a good job on my pre-move in deep cleaning. Now that I've moved in, I've found some things they missed, like dust bunnies and old food bits under the stove and the stainless appliances still have some grease marks, etc. They also didn't clean the interior windows and patio doors, so there are still lick marks from the previous owner's dog. I guess I just assumed this would have been done (maybe this is my fault for not making sure the job included moving appliances and cleaning windows?). They did a good job on the inside of cabinets, HVAC vents, bathrooms, floors. Overall, a nice house cleaning, but I think it fell short value-wise for me. My 1800 sq ft house cost $590. read more

Wow...why can't you just admit that your employee did a bad job. First of all, when I called you on the phone to book an appointment, I specifically told you I needed a POST CONSTRUCTION deep cleaning but I just remodeled my 4 bathrooms. I never hid that fact from you. So you just LIED when you said I didn't tell you. And you said the house hasn't been touched in TWO YEARS. You guys were just there last summer. My wife always cleans the house every other day. The reason I hired you guys is because I NEEDED a post construction cleaning or I wouldn't hire a cleaning crew in the first place. Second of all, even if my mom was vacuuming the bed after you guys finished cleaning each room, there shouldn't be that much dust on the bed frame. The only way for there to be so much dust after you guys "cleaned" the house is if your employee didn't clean it in the first place. So just admit that and apologize and stop making excuses. Was it my fault that you didn't come and look at the house before you gave me an estimate? That is what you usually do but you didn't. You chose not to look at the house first. Also, in the previous visit, you were always there to do a walk through after it is finished. Did you do that this time? No you didn't. I found Amy's account randomly on Instagram. I was searching for a good housekeeping services for a while now. I am just going to say that I'm very happy that I came across Amy's account. I contacted her randomly on random evening asking her when the earliest appointment was that she could give me for a housekeeping service and she responded with giving me an appointment for the following afternoon. The ladies showed up on time, cleaned literally every inch of the house spotless. I returned home from work and looked at the house and it was sparkling. The great thing is that if you don't need a deep cleaning (which is what I got) you can also get a general house cleaning service which also includes basic mopping, sweeping, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen, etc. Definitely contact Amy for all of your housekeeping needs! Amy's Housekeeping did an incredible job on my 80 year old aunts condo. Unfortunately my aunt is using a walker to get around and has let her one bedroom condo get out of control. She had been unable to do trash removal, proper kitchen and bathroom cleaning, patio upkeep and standard dusting, causing and overall weekly home maintenance for a few years. Unfortunately things were bad!!! Amy brought in a crew of 3 people and within two hours things were back to Spick and Span! In addition for the throes hour 3 more workers showed up making the head count 6 people and they did an overhaul on the patio that had years of tree and leaf buildup. It was a disaster!! My husband and I have been going non stop in our "busy season" for the last month now and cleaning my house is definitely the last thing on our list! We hired Amy's Housekeeping because when we do have the chance to be home - we want to spend it with our kiddos! I booked her for a same day cleaning service and Amy was super accommodating. I got hourly updates with their ETA!!!!! Because they happened to be super busy on the particular day I wanted servicing, I had to leave just as they were arriving and leave them with my Sitter for the day. They still gave it their all and literally cleaned like their lives depended on it, created storage, picking upafyer my littles and creating space for us! They organized and cleaned leaving almost no space untouched. I came home to such an amazingly pleasant surprise in the disaster of a home that I left. Buyers beware! This business harasses customers for leaving honest reviews. I had a horrible experience with her company & wrote about it in my original review. 2 months later she replies & accuses me of lieing about what really happened. She also falsely reported me to Yelp & Google while accusing me of only writing bad reviews & said they provided additional services not included for what I paid for. When I posted an updated review with the original list of services promised while asking why she waited 2 months to file a complaint with her supposed proof against me, she deleted her reply to my original review & copy & pasted that exact reply to my updated review, making it seem like she replied right away. She also messaged me privately saying I'm being dishonest for only posting before pictures, a screenshot of which I've attached here. Listen lady, all I did was post the list of services you said are included in the standard deep cleaning package. There is no way for there to be a before & after picture of that. Also, the only reason I had to put that up was because you kept lieing about everything, like how you stayed an extra hour without charging me when it is clearly stated in your list of services that you will not leave until cleaning has been done to customer's satisfaction. As well as the patio not being included under deep cleaning when it clearly is included under cleaning of other common areas. Now about the price, because my place is only a 1000 sq. ft. you first quoted me $380 cash for the deep cleaning. When I said it is out of my budget you lured me in by giving me $40 off & lied to me that I can pay with Credit Card through PayPal without a fee. You guys were so incompetent that I remember cleaning stuff with cat hair on while your girls were still here, because they didn't clean it! I was asked if I wanted to review their work before they left. I did the best I could to review it, but was still recovering from the surgery. When my family got home, they noticed the kitchen and bathroom floors weren't cleaned well. It looked like they rubbed a mop lightly across the floor, but didn't put any muscle into it. We recently hired Amy's housekeeping to come do a deep clean out our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home the day before our first open house. Four ladies arrived right on time and got to work. They did an AMAZING job. They moved every single piece of furniture and cleaned over, under, and behind of everything. They cleaned baseboards and ceiling fan blades and the inside of our refrigerator. They moved rugs and cleaned underneath of them. They vacuumed and mopped and cleaned our hard wood floors until they were gleaming. I had never seen our house so clean. It was an amazing feeling and an even better sight to see. Our open house was a smashing success and we had multiple, over-asking offers within days. Additionally, the women were professional and friendly and worked quickly but effectively. They were done in just over two hours and left nothing untouched. We paid $300 and it was honestly worth every penny. I wish that I could give this business zero stars but I'll try to start with the good here. I am not someone who regularly gives out bad reviews, I prefer to provide management with information directly that can assist them in improving in their business. This was such a terrible experience that I felt the public should be warned. Amy did respond pretty immediately to my request for a DEEP CLEANING of my home. I have a regular housekeeper who comes bi-weekly and she had a death in the family and had to leave immediately. So since I was having guests coming to stay and I've been wanting a deep cleaning of my home, it was a good time. I informed Amy I have wood floors and different types of tiles in bathroom and kitchen. She gave me a quote of $320 for 3 ladies to come out for 3 - 4 hours. She said that they would clean out microwave, refrigerator, floorboards, etc. Direct quote from her text to me. This is what really happened: I did a walk through with the primary cleaning lady. I specifically pointed out the areas I wanted heavy cleaning including baseboards and any obvious marks on the walls. They were done in a little over 2 hours and there was NO DEEP CLEANING performed. I asked them to go over the master bathroom again in the areas that had not been cleaned. I think they thought spraying and wiping down without cleaning the grout in between was deep cleaning. My wood floors were swept with a swifter type mop and there was dirt and debris in every corner after they left. My floors had not been touched with any deep cleaning products, there were the same spots that were there when they arrived. After going through several areas multiple times, I was just frustrated and wanted them to leave. I did not pay them the $320 that they originally quoted me for but a reduced rate of $250 which was more than double what they deserved. My personal housekeeper charges me $100 per week and is much more thorough than Amy's cleaners were. I texted Amy to let her know that I was not pleased with the service to which she responded that she wished I had told her before her staff left. She asked if they could return. I told her that even after going over the problem areas they still could not correct the problem. Then she offered a $50 discount if I had them back. I've given my housekeeper a raise since the work she does is worth the $320. Amy needs to better train her staff on deep cleaning. I would never use this business again and suggest you find one through a referral from someone you personally know. I think the reviews on this site may have been purchased. read more

They couldn't work fast enough, and instead of a flat rate, also wanted to charge an hourly rate. Huge red flag. Honestly, save your energy and go with someone private, not a cleaning service like this. I would not recommend this cleaning service at all. The job itself was fine. Not great. Just fine.
