I am baffled by the reviews. I've been here twice with my 16 month old and she's been treated with nothing by kindness and she's received top notch care. Dr Fletcher was super attentive and very patient with our screaming baby and quickly diagnosed an ear and throat infection. She gave us a prescription and we were on our way. In and out. Quick and easy. My little girl is on the mend and I'm so grateful. The first time we came here was a few months back. Dr Sceotch (I'm sure I've spelt that incorrectly lol) was just as amazing. It's rare to find a doctor that shares our view with regards to a more natural approach. He was kind and helped us get to the bottom of our daughter's illness. She was super happy again working days. I would definitely come here again. In fact, since our kids pediatrician is never available, we've decided to stick to this urgent care instead. Definitely great doctors here. read more

The doctor was interested in involving me in the care routine and did a good job of listening. Was in and out for a back injury with X-rays in a few hours and got my prescriptions quickly. Your better off going to the hospital, I thought urgent care was suppose to be like going to the doctors office? Quick. Waited 1hr and a half to get into a room. They took vitals and was left in the room and then waited another hour in the room to get seen by the doctor then still waited another ten minutes to get the prescription and doctors note. read more

I've always brought my kids and myself here for a quick check up. And never waited too long to be seen until today. My daughter and I were here at 9am as well as another parent and kid. It's now 9:45 and have yet to even be worked up for the doctor who isn't even here yet. I can see the staff is trying their best but apparently the doctor has no set schedule to follow. Opening hours are 9am until 7 pm. However I wouldn't recommend coming early in the morning. read more

I called 2 days in a row leaving multiple messages each day on their line requesting telemed services. No one called me. The next day I decided to try to go in although i felt extremely ill. I arrived at 10 (the time they open) to get treated for Covid. They took my insurance info and sent me to my car to wait. Eventually they called me by phone to have me come in as a room was ready. I then proceeded to wait til after 12:00. I was feeling so terrible i laid on the exam table and fell asleep. When the nurse came in she told me the provider had car trouble and never came in so the nurses were having us wait until they could get another Doctor to come in. More confusion, they were going to do a telemed visit, then the owner was on his way in to do visits. Finally the nurse came in and asked did I know they don't accept my insurance? The visit was going to be $95 instead of free with my medi-cal. They take some medi-cal plans but not others apparently. But the front desk did not tell me that. I was shocked and told them they could surely comp that fee since they hadnt advised me of that before I started waiting, and I had been waiting 2 hrs for them to FIND A DOCTOR to come in. She asked the owner who said no, I could not be seen without paying that fee. I started crying and walked out. It was 12:20 at that point and I had been waiting 2hrs and 20 mins for a doctor. I literally used up all of my energy I had that day to go wait 2 hours and STILL not get seen or get any help for my symptoms. I think making people waiting in a room for 2 hours is crappy, they should have done the right thing and taken responsibility for all of their mistakes and provided care and comped the fee. read more

There this morning and fell in love with my urgent care doctor, Hector Camacho MD. Never, ever before have I ever felt so care for. He even took the time to teach me a meditation lesson to lower my blood pressure. He has the kindest smile and caring eyes and I recommend him and the office to anyone who will listen. DON'T go here EVER if you can avoid it. The 20 something receptionist is argumentative, they charged $95 for a copay on a PPO and don't do flu swabs. This time they tried to upcharge me to do a strep swab that I know my insurance covers. They only ever have one Nurse Practitioner working so unless you go when there's literally no one else there you'll have to wait a while to be seen. There are other doctor options in town, but if you're looking when none of the others are open, make the drive to the 24 Hour Urgent Care in Temecula where they'll actually do your strep and flu swabs and only charge you a $25 copay. read more

Classic bait and switch. I called and met with them because I needed lab work done and I told them I needed to know what the total would be for the visit and lab work as I did not have insurance. I was told that it would be around $250. I paid them the $250 and then I received a bill for $1,078 from labcorp. Called ahead to confirm that they would see me if I arrived just before 2 pm. I arrived at 1:54pm and the door was locked (but there was a car in the parking lot). I walked around to check for another entrance. When I returned, the car was gone. Staff told me that they would see me. Staff closed the clinic early. Staff saw me at the door and they drove off while I was trying to be seen. Only use this clinic if you enjoy being disappointed. I was able to receive excellent care at 8-2-8 Urgent Care. read more

Needed to go in on a Saturday as the primary wasn't open. From Kathy in the front to the doctor and nurse in the back everything was top notch. Wait time was minimal, results were great. I am a disabled senior citizen. On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, I arrived 1 hour early with my service dog to wait at Medplus Fallbrook to be seen for a severe injury to my shoulder. I am finally dispatched to a room. Finally the door opens & then the person in the doorway slams the door shut. An assistant/nurse comes back in the room & tell me the "provider" cannot see me with my service dog in the room because she is "allergic." She tells me I can leave the dog in the lobby - without an attendant? HELL NO! I put my dog in the car because I really need to be seen & the weather currently allows it, BUT CANNOT LEAVE HIM IN THERE INDEFINITELY!! Now I have to wait while the "provider" sees someone else, because I have apparently been "bumped." She finally comes back in the room, tells me she is deathly afraid of dogs, fails to actually examine my shoulder, & then tells me they will x-ray it. This, of course leads to another indeterminate waiting period. Mind you, I expected to wait, but not while I was forced to keep my service dog in the car. I finally get up & leave. I have used Medplus once before, saw an actual physician who seemed competent & came away with a positive experience. They must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel now to come up with "providers," BECAUSE THIS ONE WAS ABYSMAL!!!! They would have been better off recruiting someone off the street, who at least had some concept of "professionalism." read more

Where do I start? My daughter has been treated at this place for a work injury. She is 26 years old and injured her ankle at work. After 6 weeks she; 1) is still on crutches and can not put any weight on her foot 2) was not given any kind of splint to stabilize the joint (after 5 visits!) 2) has NOT been seen by an M.D., only a physician's assistant! (5 office visits later!) 3) has been told it is just a sprain, but never had an MRI to evaluate soft tissue injury (they absolutely refuse to order one!) 4) was NOT referred to a specialist until we insisted 5) was told by the PA to go back to work, and when we had to pick her up and bring her home in tears after 3 hours, the PA said it was too bad she went to work because now she won't be able to collect wages from worker's comp!!! My advice: DO NOT go there unless you know a good malpractice attorney! read more

I walked into this urgent care clinic just a couple of hours ago and it nearly ruined my day. It was completely empty and quiet, I was the only person there, so they were by no means busy. The receptionist was rude. She heard me walk in, and most likely saw me too, but didn't say a word. I didn't see anyone and stood there waiting for a short while before I spotted her hidden behind a divider. I didn't waste her time. I quickly explained the reason for my visit. Which is that I just moved here 2 days ago from out of state. I have a legitimate prescription from my previous doctor that I urgently need a refill for. It's not the type of medication that a patient can just stop taking. She didn't seem eager to help at all, or to get out of her seat for that matter, and neither did the doctor who was also just out of sight but overheard everything I said. She asked me for my ID and insurance card, so I gave her that, and then without even looking at my prescription she came back after speaking with the doctor around the corner and said I'd have to pay $90 "to be seen". I didn't need to be "seen" I already had a prescription that just needed to be verified as an official document so that I can get my medication from the pharmacy. My doctor back home understood that it will likely take time before I'm able to get new health insurance in my new home state, so he provided me with an extra prescription so I don't run out even if there's a gap in my health coverage. A doctor may be totally in the right to say they don't want to see someone without pay I understand that. But again I didn't need to be seen and just moved here. I'm still trying to figure out who the right party to speak to is, another clinic or discuss it with the pharmacy technicians again. Even if this is an issue to be taken up back at the pharmacy, this urgent care clinic was a terrible experience they're greedy and lazy, and totally unprofessional. They didn't demonstrate even just a normal or reasonable level of care or customer service. All they want is money and to work as little as possible. read more

Worst Urgent care I have ever been to. The "Doctor" didn't know how to tell me that I had tonsillitis in correct grammar with the proper words used to explain what I'm supposed to do. He gave me a anti biotic and told me to only use it if I had the exact symptoms I was trying explain to him that I was having, multiple times. The "Doctor" could hardly speak any English. Is there a Zero Star? If so, I'd use it. I needed a pre-op EKG and called them. I told them what I needed and which insurance plan I had (great coverage through my employer). They said okay to the EKG and my insurance plan, and to just come by, no appointment necessary. I went in the next morning and was told "No" they did not accept insurance. I had the receptionist check, and she verified they did not accept insurance. read more

This is for the one in Fallbrook CA on Alvarado st. At first I was nervous after seeing all the negative reviews but I had no choice as this one was close and open. After all this is urgent care. Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews. The young woman at the reception desk was very nice and answered all my questions. Yes the fee was $100 but again this is because you need urgent care so they need to charge so they can be open during non standard business hours. Otherwise you would go to your normal physician. And you should know all urgent care facilities do the same, they may just choose different ways to bill you but all charge an office fee outside of the physician care. The physician was also very nice and informative and answered all my questions. In all I was in and out in about an hour. The people in front of me were seen quickly and the people after me were already being seen by the time I was done. For those talking about rude receptionists remember they didn't cause your pain but they are trying to help and it is not first come first serve for urgent care. Again key word here is urgent. I hope no one ever needs urgent care but if I do I will definitely be coming back to this place. Excellent service! read more

I went to this urgent care yesterday as I was having trouble breathing. We walked in, did a min. of paperwork and was called back within 5 mins. The entire staff was nice and extreamly professional. The Doc. was fantastic. I left 30 mins. later breathing normal. Just a thought here.....Fallbrook is so lucky to have a place like this to go to! Especially since we no longer have a hospital nor an ER. Many thanks go to the doctors that have made this clinic available to this community! read more

This place is a scam, they told my wife that our "Blue Shield PPO" insurance was not in their network and that they cannot accept it, which was a first for us. The receptionist insisted that my wife had to pay sixty five dollars just to be seen out of pocket and when my wife questioned the receptionist about her honesty she turned red and blushed. The thing that is strange is one of our friends had the same experience as us, the receptionist insisted on a cash out of pocket co-pay and that her "medical insurance" was not in their network and would not be accepted, but my friends co-pay was 125 out of pocket according to the receptionist. I believe that this place is taking advantage of people, and the whole atmosphere is very shady, if you have to be seen and find yourself at this place turn back and head down to Temecula do not give your hard earned money to these crooks, health insurance is not cheap. Stay far away from this place, and if you are victimized leave a bad review hopefully the word gets out and this place is reprimanded. read more

If there is an alternative for urgent care, try that instead. I realize that they want to get paid, but they made it clear that money is more important than the patient's condition. We were not greeted with hellos and smiles, but rather a clipboard and paperwork. The first 10 minutes were spent dealing with paperwork and arguing about insurance. They barely asked what the medical condition was. The doctor was friendly but in hindsight, probably incompetent. He told us he would have an outside radiologist read the x-ray and then no one bothered to call with the results. Overall, a very unwelcoming atmosphere. read more

Have been to this urgent care 3 times. First time was a great experience. Didn't have to wait very long and the doctor was excellent. Second visit was a bust. Only one person ahead of me and still had to wait over an hour. I left. They called me but by then I had gone to another urgent care. Since I liked my first doctor, I went back a third time. Short wait. Another great doctor. Great medical care. Each visit was for a different problem. I'll go again if I need a doctor right away.
