Review of Medicare Joe -
Some Medicare brokers use polished and deceptive websites, fee-based glowing reviews, sanitized web presence, and persistent outreach to create the illusion of personalized service--while quietly avoiding their actual obligations. They sign seniors up for plans, collect commissions year after year, and then disappear when follow-up or support is needed. You can spot this by observing brokers who only contact you near renewal time, never follow through on promised reviews, and require you to jump through hoops just to speak with them. If their reviews sound too perfect and their outreach feels scripted, it's often a sign they're using known advanced tactics to sanitize their web presence while siphoning money from the system without delivering the care seniors deserve and are required to receive.
Recently, I received another text from this joke of a broker implying that they have been trying to reach me without my response! Part of their obvious and deceptive cya for profit fraud to not lift a finger and get paid on auto renewals!!
Many Medicare brokers like this are modern day pirates exploiting cracks in the medicare marketing system for their own greedy purposes; getting paid to provide service for which they are systematically avoiding, through excessive,manipulative and time-consuming processes, causing great harm to our taxpayers, seniors and Medicare system, through robbery. Once you're an existing client, prepare to be ghosted. Medicare Joe's system is engineered for churn: appointments are set in Eastern Time without clarification, causing missed calls and confusion, one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of. Accessing service requires multiple layers of "homework" for clients--including watching deceptive promotional videos about Joe himself and completing redundant surveys--just to earn the right to schedule a conversation, year after year.
Once you're onboarded, you're dangling. Follow-up promises go unfulfilled. I was told by Joe he would reconnect in Q1 of 2025 to review my 2025 application. That never happened. When I reached out, silence. Many months later, during Q4 annual enrollment for 26, I received a generic message. I called back and was told to complete a survey to get a callback to set an appointment. I did. The only reply: A text thanking me and informing me I'd be contacted on a "first come, first serve" basis--again, in Eastern Time and at their covenience on the couple of days a week they choose to work, like a threat that if one doesn't like crappy service they can opt for another broker, many of whom are highly rated and which I provide below, backed by advanced research; I'm still waiting for that promised call back. Their goal is to look busier than they are, a common sales tactic in highly competitive markets like this. Medicare Joe's is anti consumer-centric; don't be a victim!
This isn't service. It's a funnel. I have had nothing but crap for service since my initial contact, but Joe begged me to give him a chance based on promises, largely unfulfilled. The real strategy seems to be letting time run out for existimg clients so auto-renewal kicks in and commissions are secured without accountability, while securing new clients to build the empire. If you're looking for transparency, responsiveness, or respect for your time zone--look elsewhere.
In summary, they work hard to sign up new clients, then things go down hill from there. All the talk about service is nonsense! Beware-there is an industry that caters to selling glowing reviews for a fee; this one is for free!
