The ride was scheduled by his case worker. When my brother was discharged from the facility he waited and waited and they never showed up. He was found deceased the following morning not far from where he was supposed to be living and receiving medical treatments after attempting to use public transportation (the bus system)to get to USVets When I called Daniella at MedLife all she could do was loudly make excuses for them not showing up to pick my brother up! Not once did she express condolences for the loss of my brother's life. She rambled on and on about how it wasn't her fault because there "system" broke down and it's not her fault. If you don't want to lose your beloved family member due to their negligence then DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Reluctantly, I chose to see someone at the Intermountain Health Whitney Ranch location. It's about as far away from me as you can get. I had an early morning appointment and arrived early. Door was open and staff was busy already inside. I easily completed the necessary paperwork and was whisked inside right at the time of my appointment. Friendly PA and attentive doctor. I felt cared for and heard. I wasn't rushed nor did I feel like I was inconveniencing anyone by asking my questions. I may have thought this visit was a temporary fix, but I would gladly drive for this level of care and plan to stay. Great job!

My wife and I would have been new patients but upon learning we had no insurance we were told we…read morewould have to pay $155 and up. When we told the office worker we were told we could be billed she said "no you have to pay now" and immediately started to bark at a person who did not have an appointment but was going to use the bathroom. Before it was over she was literally yelling at the other person and when I said she was unprofessional, she started yo yell at me. She was loud enough that 3 other staff came to the front. She told them "no, no, no, just go back were you were" then told us "you can just leave, go on, get out" then proceeded to call the police on the person using the restroom. A tall man came out front and quietly said to me "you should just leave". When I asked if her actions were acceptable, he then stated that I should come back tomorrow and talk to the office manager (the yelling woman told us she had no supervisor, an obvious lie). I cannot for the life of me find any reason to go to their facility ever. To say it was unprofessional is bad enough, but the managerial response was also ridiculous. This started with my not having insurance and the customer care person wanted to switch us to another facility that ONLY TOOK INSURANCE! Talk about totally disconnected from the situation. Absolutely no care or concern for the patient (also known as the customer). Stay Away I Beg You!

Isn't the point of the copay and his insurance is so that he doesn't have to pay another bill afterwards? And then when he tried to get an itemized receipt, the agent over the phone refused to provide it for him stating he has to stop by the clinic because they don't do it over the phone. Which is very inconvenient having to take time off from work to drive extremely far for his receipt. All I'm hoping is that when we do go to the front desk, they will be able to provide his itemized bill properly right then and there, because otherwise, this would be extremely unprofessional.

I genuinely cannot believe this place is operating as a PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OFFICE…read more I just moved to the area, found this clinic through my insurance, and went in for my first appointment. I can confidently say there will NEVER be a second. Let's start with the receptionist. She was loud, unprofessional, speaking across the office like she was hanging out on a street corner, and casually dropping the F-word while patients were sitting there listening. Zero professionalism. Zero discretion. Zero awareness of her surroundings. Then she called me back to take my blood pressure. GOOD. LORD. The second I was confined in that little exam room with her, the smell hit me. This wasn't a tiny hint of body odor that you politely ignore. This was a HEAVY, stale, musty, haven't-seen-soap-today smell that filled the space. I was sitting there wondering how I'm at a MEDICAL FACILITY concerned about whether the equipment is sanitized when the person touching patients smells like basic hygiene wasn't on today's agenda. I don't expect the Ritz-Carlton. I don't expect perfume. I don't care what anyone looks like. But if your JOB requires you to stand inches away from patients, PLEASE SHOWER BEFORE YOUR SHIFT. Soap, water and deodorant should not be considered advanced medical technology. And then I overheard that she's the MANAGER?! That nearly took me out. If this is management, who exactly is enforcing standards? HER? She's supposed to be the example for the rest of the staff while loudly using profanity in front of patients and walking people into tiny rooms smelling like a damp laundry hamper that's been forgotten for a week? Absolutely not. The provider was at least pleasant, but even that portion of the appointment didn't inspire much confidence. She repeatedly had to leave the room to ask questions and then come back. The entire appointment felt rushed, disorganized and amateurish. I was told I needed a specialist referral. At checkout they had absolutely NO difficulty taking my payment and telling me I was done. Funny how that part of the operation runs efficiently. I left and realized nobody had given me any referral information. So I called. FIFTEEN MINUTES ON HOLD. Someone finally answered. I explained what happened. BACK ON HOLD. Eventually I was told someone would call me back. Three days later, I'm apparently still waiting for this mythical phone call. So, to recap: profanity in the waiting area, an unbelievably uncomfortable hygiene situation, chaotic service, a provider repeatedly leaving to ask questions, no referral information, 15+ minutes on hold, and absolutely no promised callback. But my payment? Oh, THAT they managed flawlessly. The most unbelievable part remains discovering that the person setting this spectacular standard of professionalism is supposedly THE MANAGER. If the manager is the example everyone else is expected to follow, this office doesn't need a suggestion box. It needs an intervention. One visit was more than enough. I will be contacting my insurance company and finding another provider immediately. I wouldn't voluntarily return to this office if they validated my parking, refunded my copay, AND handed me a complimentary bar of soap on the way in.
