STAY AWAY! I hired Pro Tech Siding (Darren) to install new siding for my house because it didn't…read morehave house wrap & there were broken pieces of siding that needed replaced. They started Feb 20, 2018 & didn't finish until June 2018. It was always an excuse why he or his lazy brother couldn't come out. In the midst of installing my siding, my windows started leaking. So I had asked him to replace my windows as well. From the day he started, my house has been leaking behind the paper for over a year. Hes come out a few times to re-caulk the windows but still leaks (because it wasn't done correctly)! Caulking will not fix it! Finally had another company come out to assess the problem, and he says Darren never house wrapped any of my corners of my house or install flashing & J channel around my windows. Which is what a siding and window guy is supposed to do! That is part of installing windows and siding!!! #1 rule WATER PROOF EVERYTHING!!!! He Failed!! I have asked him to refund all my money since I have to pay someone else again for the work that should have been done in the first place. He said no! He offered $500 but that only pays for 1 window installation. He installed 14 windows and siding. Which is going to cost me another $11,000 So those of you who have had work done by him, I would look behind your siding! I am filing a claim with DPOR and taking him to court for all the money I paid him. Hopefully he won't be doing this to any one else again!!! More pictures are coming once the siding is down.
