The times that I have been waited on by her has always been very unpleasant. I have experienced her cutting me off mid conversation. She lacks the ability to communicate well when you ask her questions. She talks down to the other staff members w/ such a bad attitude and disregards to listening to them fully when they are interacting w/ each other or the customers. Today was the final straw. I requested to see my receipt for the charges and notice that 2 out of the 3 orders had been overcharged significantly. I called her out on it as I think that if you somehow you calculated $110 and she tells you that your bill comes to $134 you have a right to see the breakdown of the cost. She then tried to make an excuse as this was the computer but ironically she was putting all the cost in individually as I didn't need all the items at once. So I was trying to understand her excuse. Unfortunately I'm not the kind of customer that will take your word for any consumer without first seeing my receipt before before paying. Otherwise I'm not sure if there would have been a guarantee to refund my monies as with this particular cleaners you have to prepay first. I'm very disappointed in the interaction with this woman. Our house has been using Parkway for years. I really resented the way I was treated! Hello all you consumers - PARKWAY recycles and reuses the wire hangers they give us and we return. Sorting the hangers is a courtesy, not an obligation. As a customer, I do it begrugingly but it is NOT my job. We are not paid to their work. I suggest management have a talk with their help so they understand the relationship: we consumers/customers pay Parkway for a service. We assist them to be responsible in the community by bringing back plastic and hangers. It is not our job to sort them. That's a courtesy. Period.

She made sure that I wasn't losing too much of my outer layer appliqué from the hem, the bustle was secure, and she added horse hair hem on the inner layers to allow the dress to fan out. The blue dress I had taken to her was about 3 sizes too large and Barbara was able to work her magic to properly fit the gown. Her attention to detail is like no other!

I went to get only a hem, and she quoted me $80. I paid half via Venmo which was flexible. During my 2nd fitting, I decided I wanted a bustle but I was not expecting the price to DOUBLE. She then quoted me $160 and I asked her "how much to bustle a gown?" And she said "well, I steamed it too and I'm charging for each fitting and my time". I mentioned how she's just making up prices as we go. Plus, I never requested a steam, but apparently I had to pay for that too. I already had enough going on so I just paid her another $40 and agreed to pay the rest at the final fitting. Her studio needs some upkeep. It was dusty, floors needed a mop, and her bathroom doesn't look or feel clean. Would be nice if she had some empathy for brides wanting to protect their special gown. She has cats and it contributed to the aroma of her studio. I asked her if she can wash her hands while handling my gown, no response from her. Some text messages she did not respond to, she just left me on read. It would be nice if she sent out pick-up notifications or something to improve her customer service. But it's a small business. I recommend you keep track of everything and also take photos, if you're working with Basia.
