Seriously, my sighs can not be long and deep enough for the disappointment that this shop ALWAYS brings me!
Let me start by saying that I already have never been a fan of the "service" here which is really a lack there of. For professional advice I will always go to another store and only buy it at Media Markt if the price ever happens to be better, which it very rarely is.
Now, my latest beef with Media Markt. Seven weeks ago there was a sale for 16% off everything. I happened to still have a gift card that was at least three years old (like I said, I don't like this store) and also needed a Roomba. Yes, I need a Roomba. Anyway, with the sale and whatnot, the Roomba was cheaper here. *shocking*
So, one of the displayed Roomba's was the 650 which we want, but had a different price hanging next to it. Apparently the price of the 630, but of course Media Markt is to dumb to put the full product name on the price cards... So, first we had to figure out what the actual price was. Still cheaper, so we decided to buy it here. There was a box for the 650 in the racks, but no 650 in the box. Or the warehouse. Okay, stuff happens, we decide to order the thing, no biggie. Now, at Media Markt, ordering an item means committing to it by paying up front. Bit outdated, but okay, again it's no biggie. However, the store policy is to have everything in within a week, maximum of about three weeks.
If you remember, I just mentioned I was here seven weeks ago. Do I have my Roomba already, you ask? Is the Roomba as amazing as you think it is, you ask?
The answer is no, I do not have my Roomba, so I have no clue if it is as amazing as we all think it is! Really, if I would not have already paid for the damn thing, I would have gone somewhere else, paid more but already had the thing for over a month!
In the mean while, I have been on the phone with Media Markt four times already. I had to call all four times! Since the first time I called, it took two more phone calls and two more weeks for them to finally realise that the Roomba had not been ordered correctly. I have also been by the store twice now and still nothing! When I went by on Monday, the salesman said it would take another day or two and he would personally call us. It's Friday now, still no phone call.
