We have several members of our family with very specific health needs and Dr. Carl and his staff keep us up to date so we don't have to remember all of the details! They take care of it for you. Making appointments is as easy as can be. Prescription refills are always checked and evaluated and dispensed appropriately. Cathy is the lead nurse and she is always super organized and extremely helpful and communicative! Colleen is such a sweet and welcoming member of WellcomeMD. I always love seeing her face!:) Heidi is fabulous on the phone and great with communications. She gets the job done! But when it comes to your health, your relationship with your doctor, it's an intimate dynamic because it requires clarity and trust on the part of the doctor and patient. Dr. Carl is so relaxed that he puts his patients at ease immediately. He is thorough and goes through all of your blood panels with you one-on-one and makes excellent suggestions and also is complimentary if he feels that you are doing well. He will prescribe supplementation only if it is reflected as needed in your bloodwork. Personally, my blood pressure zooms up every time I go to the doctor. But with Dr. Carl, he brings it back to normal and puts me at ease. Obviously, my entire family and I are fans of WellcomeMD. I recommend Dr. Carl and Dr. Colfer to everyone I know! As a registered nurse with over 50 years of experience in healthcare, and as a new patient of this…read morepractice, I can honestly say I have never seen such unprofessional, unethical and irresponsible care. Not only did they "forget" to order an injection that is time sensitive, they could not tell me when I would be able to receive my injection. In fact, they seemed to dismiss this error as not being important. This appointment was scheduled several months in advance. I even called the day before the injection to make sure the appointment was confirmed, especially since it was time sensitive with a limited window within which it could be given. When I became upset about this, they became defensive and told me that I was the problem. Clay Perdue was extremely unprofessional about this matter. In addition, Mr. J. Paul Greene, the practice administrator violated my privacy by discussing this matter in their waiting room in earshot of other patients. On a follow up call to him asking him for answers on how my issue would be resolved, he became hostile and yelled at me, even telling me at one point that "...you have had your chance to talk, now you need to stop talking and listen to me" in a loud voice. At the time of this call, I was already at another provider's office having made my decision to find another provider...my phone was on speaker because of my hearing impairment and this conversation was heard by the new provider's staff. Eventually, I did get my I injection within the window of opportunity, but the stress that this caused was unprofessional, unethical and completely unnecessary. I told them I would not be returning. Within several days I received a "Notice of Termination of Medical Services " from them despite the fact that I was the one who terminated them! I guess it was important for them to feel that they made the decision to terminate service when, in fact, it was me. The important thing is that I will never return. I wish there was a "zero " rating here. As a registered professional nurse with 50+ years of experience this was the first, and definitely last time I will ever use this practice. If professional, ethical and patient-centered, respectful care is important to you, think twice. Unless, of course, your needs are basic and you don't expect much. One last point about my injection. They should have charted the injection was administered at the time it was administered. They did not. According to my record, it took three days to chart after I received the injection. When I wrote to question why this had not been done, I was told by the person who administered the injection that it took time to get around to charting that the was administered. Again, unacceptable.

I had a substantial amount of weight to lose after acquiring Hashimoto's, Autoimmune Uticaria and Angioedema, and my thyroid decided to take a dive. She is more than understanding, and baby steps we took. After one year I am down a total of 69 pounds. Through several different approaches this has been achieved. I am forever grateful, this gave me my life back. Losing weight definitely makes the autoimmune diseases a little more manageable. She assured me that I could still lose the weight, it just might be a little slower than others that don't have to battle a thyroid problem. She was 100% right. I averaged a 5.8 lb weight loss a month but x that time 12 and a year later I say goodbye to 69 pounds. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed, if you don't give up on yourself.

I called back on the 21st and left a voicemail. I called twice in the 22nd and left a message and a voicemail and didn't hear back. I called again today the 23rd and was asked to leave a message and they'd call me back. I entered the waitlist on Oct 13th 2022 and have been very eagerly waiting and waiting. I am recently engaged and ready to try one last thing before making the jump to weightloss surgery so I can be truly confident at my wedding since I have PCOS and nothing has worked. I don't want to miss my opportunity to get an appointment and get put BACK on the waitlist because no one would get in contact with me. When would I be able to get in touch with someone who could schedule that appointment??
