The program does work if you stick to it; however they do push pills and injections. I didn't like that you pretty much see a different provider each time and they end up asking the same questions over and over. read more

I'll give it a 3, because I have made progress here. The customer service is what really needs work. They are always over booking which means your waiting 45 min to 1 hr to be seen. Then they switch to every week is a provider visit(just to get more money) so your waiting longer because there's not enough providers. I had an appt today at 0830 text the number that's suppose to let you know they've been checked in...no response. 30 min later I called they tell me oh you don't need to do that anymore( more lack of communication to your customers) read more

I have been with Medi weightloss for almost a year and no doubt I have gotten results (70lbs lost to date). However, since transferring from NJ to the center located at 230 Browns Way off of Midlothian...I have been disappointed. Especially the last 2 weeks where they do not have any control over their scheduling and double/triple booking their clients. It is hard enough just trying to lose weight, but to get at the appointment on time and sit from 30 to 45 minutes waiting is completely unacceptable. It is not my fault nor should I received the attitude I got from the front receptionist about THEIR scheduling issues for 2 weeks in a row. Such a disappointing and frustrating situation. This place produced results. My husband and I both made amazing progress. However, mid session, they tell us that since they now accept insurance (my plan doesn't cover the program) , that the prices for customer pay will be raised. It almost doubled. They didnt care at all when delivering the news. We were already paying $800 a month for the two of us. Not to mention the snacks and shakes we purchased. Very dissapointed. Hoping they loose enough customers that they have to go back to the original pricing honestly. Similar to when Walgreens stopped accepting anthem. You never know what you're going to get when you walk in the door. As a whole, the nurses really don't know anything about nutrition or weight loss. So, don't expect more than for you get weighed and have your pulse and BP taken. Also, they administer the injections. The nurse practitioners are good for the most part--they are knowledgeable and keep a close eye on your overall health as you lose weight. I keep getting stuck with this one dietician who asks me the same questions every week--even though she charts my responses, she never checks the chart and it as if you are going through the movie "Groundhog Day." You can never do anything right according to the diet. Her expectations of your daily water intake are unrealistic unless you live in a toilet. Final word, she has no idea how to tailor the plan to the reality of your life. She's not even a dietician--she's just following a script. So, I now go in and just make up the answers she wants--no use in being honest. On the bright side, I have lost 25 pounds in five weeks and I plan on sticking the program until I achieve my goal. read more

I joined Medi-Weightloss three months ago, and have had success losing weight - average of a pound a week. And most of the employees are very friendly. However, there is very little consideration for the client's time. I have wasted so much time just sitting and waiting for my appointments to begin and for the transition between the nursing assistant and the counselor. The average time I spend in the office is at least an hour for about 15 minutes worth of in-person consultation. (Several appointments took two hours.) Today, I arrived for my 8:45am appointment on time, texted from the car that I arrived (per COVID instructions), and waited. 20 minutes later, after not hearing from anyone, I texted again, and got a response that they'd message me when they had a room available. At the hour mark, I'd still not been called in. I texted that I was leaving, and at that point I was told that I was next on the list to be called in, but that they'd cancel my appointment and I could call back and reschedule if I wanted. An hour-long wait in the parking lot for a weight check and a brief chat with the counselor (and there would have been more of a wait, usually an hour, inside) made for the most disappointing experience yet. read more

I have been going to this location since July 2017 and I love the customer service. Everytime i walk in the are so friendly. The nutritionists are very knowledgeable and are able to help you in anyway they can. I haven't had any problems thus far. I have recommended this location to several people. I started Medi back in July, and at first every one is nice and smiling. I had good results so far. Bur for me customer service is everything. Whenever I was running late they was quick to say that I had to wait to be seen. I was on time to one appointment in September. I laterally wait for almost an hour for service. My husband and I decide to leave. The sad part is that no one never contacted me about my appointment. When I called to schedule another they said I had to start over. I plant to go back and I have complain to them about the poor service. I surely hope that it has changed and that they well be truly genuine about your results. read more

Things were going well and I loved my counselor until two weeks ago. I prepaid 16 weeks and then 3 weeks before Christmas they tell me I can only come if I pay 4x more. Up to $250/ session. So wrong on so many levels. I do not recommend! read more

I started Medi in October and to date have lost about 50lbs. I normally don't post reviews as I am somewhat skeptical. I will say if your insurance does not provide coverage it is someone what costly, However you don't have to buy their shakes and snacks etc. As far as customer service I have had pretty decent interactions I can see how some would say they get mixed customer service and I think that is due to the scheduling and how on Saturdays the staff has to rotate thru this location so they are not as familiar with everyone. With all that said my results have been Amazing and I am eating healthy dropping weight and getting ready to kick medications to curb!
