I had a substantial amount of weight to lose after acquiring Hashimoto's, Autoimmune Uticaria and Angioedema, and my thyroid decided to take a dive. She is more than understanding, and baby steps we took. After one year I am down a total of 69 pounds. Through several different approaches this has been achieved. I am forever grateful, this gave me my life back. Losing weight definitely makes the autoimmune diseases a little more manageable. She assured me that I could still lose the weight, it just might be a little slower than others that don't have to battle a thyroid problem. She was 100% right. I called back on the 21st and left a voicemail. I called twice in the 22nd and left a message and a voicemail and didn't hear back. I called again today the 23rd and was asked to leave a message and they'd call me back. I entered the waitlist on Oct 13th 2022 and have been very eagerly waiting and waiting. I am recently engaged and ready to try one last thing before making the jump to weightloss surgery so I can be truly confident at my wedding since I have PCOS and nothing has worked. I don't want to miss my opportunity to get an appointment and get put BACK on the waitlist because no one would get in contact with me. When would I be able to get in touch with someone who could schedule that appointment?? I kept getting sent to voicemail or asked to leave messages for the coordinator or the scheduler or office administrator. When is the best time to reach whoever I need to reach? Thank you.

This facility cannot keep management/ staff and over charging for visits . They're practically rude and unfair when it comes to insurance. the wait times be longer than usual. When I come on Fridays it's always " no rooms " or there's always a wait to be seen. You have 2 providers that are always rude everytime I get them and they never satisfied my needs . There's 2 providers that will listen to you they both hage braids & they're very kind !! Please take precautions when trying to go to Medi in glen allen !

Restore literally is a life saver…read more As in, they actually saved my life. I was malnourished after being sick for a long period and unable to hold food down. It's not the first time this has happened to me, and I knew what would happen in the ER; I also knew I'd be waiting at the ER for a long time to be seen. I'd seen a promotion for Restore and had heard of IV vitamin drips before, so I got a ride--I couldn't drive safely--and came in. They have a very nice facility that doesn't feel cold and insensitive, unlike a hospital. I was able to lay out on a reclined chair of sorts, while the staff--who are all warm, friendly people!--hooked me up to the IV. The moment the drip began, I could LITERALLY FEEL how effective these drips are; I stopped being dizzy, my muscles relaxed. . .and by the end? I was INSANELY hungry--for the first time in way too long! Thankfully, the location in Short Pump is surrounded by really great restaurants! I've also come here for cyro, which I'd done before at a different business that didn't survive 2020. I have a condition that causes a LOT of pain, and while it's not my favorite thing to hop into because, you know, it's colder than you have EVER BEEN, it WORKS! I routinely come in and get treatments like hBOT, cyro, and the vitamin drips. For someone with a chronic disease, Restore is ESSENTIAL. I enrolled and became a member as I checked out of my first visit, and unlike other places, it's a membership I use often! If you have chronic illness, this place is where you want to be.

I saw the sign on the door telling their customers to call and let them know you've arrived, then wait in the car for them to allow you to enter. (We do something similar at my job.) I arrived early, by the way. Well, I did as instructed and called. No answer. I waited a few minutes and tried again. No answer. Then I tried another time as it was now getting close to my appointment time. No answer. I saw other people just walking in. I guess that sign was a suggestion? So I walked in and let the receptionist know that I had followed protocol and no one responded to me. She looked overwhelmed and didn't seem to have a grip on the her skills. (I also check in people at a front desk and it requires multitasking... sometimes I feel like an octopus handling several things at once.) Well, this poor woman was more like a sloth, sad to say. I waited another 15 minutes in the waiting room, now 45 minutes before I was called back. It was my first time here, and I didn't have a good first impression. Jessica took care of my procedure and that went fine. She walked me out and the receptionist who was supposed to take my payment was flustered and couldn't manage it so Jessica check me out and apologized.
