The set up was very easy and I meet with Matt,  the senior counselor there.   He went over all my options.   I really liked his honest non-pushy attitude.  And I was scheduled to meet Dr. Welter a week later.  Dr.  Welter addressed all the concerns I had.   He is very knowledgeable in his field and we even talked about current medical research pertaining to the PRP and FUE hair transplant I was going for. Other questions I had before the procedures were quickly addressed by Matt and Brenda.  When I couldn't reach them,  they quickly called back within the hour.   Both are very easy to talk to and Brenda is very compassionate.  On the days I was scheduled,  Marycell the sugerical technologist helped me get ready for each procedure.   Marycell truly cares about me as a patient and was willing to provide anything I needed to make me more comfortable. Over the last few years, I did a ton of research on hair transplants. One of the biggest factors for me was how involved the doctor would be throughout the procedure and whether the clinic operated as a "hair mill" with multiple patients every day. I also quickly ruled out going overseas. Earlier this year, I came across NE Hair and scheduled a free virtual consultation. From the first conversation, Mike was outstanding. He answered every question and concern I had and took the time to explain the philosophy and values that Dr. Welter and the entire NE Hair team operate by. By the end of that call, I felt confident this was where I wanted to have my procedure done. We discussed my goals and agreed that 3,000 grafts would be right for me. We also talked about pricing, which I found to be very reasonable, and scheduled the procedure. At the end of April, I made the trip to NE Hair. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated exceptionally well. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The day started with a detailed discussion about what to expect. I met with Dr. Welter and PA Cassandra, both of whom would be involved throughout the entire procedure. After shaving my head and administering the numbing injections (which were far easier than I expected) the extraction process began. PA Cassandra performed the FUE extractions, and before I knew it, a couple of hours had passed. One of the things I appreciated most was the amount of care that went into designing my new hairline. Dr. Welter and PA Cassandra worked with me to create a natural-looking result rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. As someone who had spent years researching hair transplants, I really appreciated the attention to detail. The procedure itself was surprisingly comfortable. Most of the day I was relaxing, watching Netflix, and not feeling much of anything. NE Hair even provides lunch for patients, which was a nice touch (Highly recommend the Thai-Chicken Wrap). What stood out most throughout the day was the level of care. The doctors and staff constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, and asked if I needed anything. Their hospitality was second to none. When the procedure was finished, they sent me home with a care package containing everything I needed for recovery, along with detailed instructions that made the healing process much easier. The next morning, before heading to the airport, I stopped by the office so they could change my bandage. Even then, Dr. Welter and PA Cassandra took the time to check on me and make sure everything looked great. They also provided their cell phone numbers and encouraged me to reach out with any questions or concerns. The first few days of recovery were the most challenging, but the instructions and products provided by NE Hair made a huge difference. I also purchased their serum and would highly recommend it. A month later, I had my virtual follow-up appointment. What impressed me was that both Dr. Welter and PA Cassandra were on the call. They answered all of my questions, reviewed my progress, and once again emphasized that they were available if I needed anything. Looking back, what impressed me most wasn't just the procedure itself, it was the level of personal attention throughout the entire process. At no point did I feel like just another patient. I can't say enough good things about my experience with NE Hair. A friend of mine suggested this company to help me with my hair loss and I am eternally grateful! Due to my medical condition we all agreed that at this time I needed a clip on or a wig. I declined a wig and fortunately they had 1 (only 1) possible hair piece that would mix well with my own hair color, which is gray and white. (Apparently getting hair with white hair is extremely rare). So you can imagine my surprise when she put this hair extension on my head. I exclaimed "Oh my God, it's me!!" My hair has been getting thinner and finer since mid 2016 when I was first diagnosed with cancer. In the mirror I saw myself as I remembered looking 7-10 years ago!! With a few modifications including the length and bangs, it was perfect. The people at this company were all fantastic. I followed her directions...sleep on satin pillow, no shower for 24 hrs and don't sweat. I asked if it would be in place for the week of my cruise and was told it will remain attached for at least 2 weeks. The morning of embarkation I woke with the whole front half detached and no time to have it redone. I had to remove it and shave my head. One side was glued onto my hair and I had to pull my hair out to get it off. I wanted to send a note to her on their website but they don't provide that option. Sorry to say the whole thing was a waste of time and money and a lesson learned the hard way.
