This review is overdue - about 5 weeks ago I had a wonderful facial with Linda. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. She was thorough with the treatments and my skin needed it. I had a deep exfoliation, microdermabrasion and other stuff. The first couple of days after my skin was peeling and a little dry and after the flaking was over my skin was glowing. Linda is a real cut above anyone I have ever had a facial with before. Rather than your relaxing "hotel-type" facial, Linda is focused on learning about your skin, its challenges, and what you want to achieve. You start by filling out a very comprehensive questionnaire. After that, she reviews the skincare products you currently use (you are asked to bring these with you to your first appointment). This is the one part of the appointment where you will need to have some broad shoulders. It is quite likely she will not like anything you are using! This stings, especially if you feel you have put some time and effort into choosing said products. But moving on, it is not because she wants to sell you her products, so rest easy. She will have recommendations however on how to pare down your skincare regimen to what is best and most effective. After all this, you are onto the actual facial which involves many steps and really is excellent. At some point during this process she offers to dye your lashes and brows as a courtesy add-on. So sweet! I left my appointment with many free samples, a wonderful tinted sunscreen that I purchased and a wealth of knowledge that I did not have going in. I highly recommend Linda if you want to know about smart skincare and want what is best for your skin going forward. I will be headed back in two months for sure! read more

Linda is a wealth of knowledge and THE BEST in the industry! Turning 30 in a few weeks was the biggest motivation for seeking help with improving and maintaining the youthfulness of my skin. This process, the treatment and the information together, is the BEST thing I've spent my hard earned money on and done for myself, in a long time. I've had few facials but I wanted to get a microdermabrasion at the last minute, on my day off. I needed to slough off the last few weeks of what I assumed stress had done to my skin. In short of an hour I gained more knowledge about my specific problem (rosacea causing adult acne and sun damage, to boot) than I had from any professional prior. My process wasn't for the faint of heart but it is completely worth it. My skin feels pretty raw (in a good way) and equally as important is that I feel empowered to get the skin I want using the information and tools that Linda provided me. And this was all in addition to the actual treatment. She even applied tinted sunblock, powder, and mascara before I left. I just had a great facial with Linda. She gives medical facials, the real ones, not the fluffy feel good type, although I'm sure she does that too if that is what you are looking for. I wanted help with my 40 something depressingly aging skin. Linda started by giving me an extensive education on how I should take care of my skin, which was very helpful. I asked a zillion questions, and she answered them all patiently. On me she used dermabrasion, dermaplaning, dermarolling, ultrasound, live oxygen, a mask or two, peels, and more that I can't quite remember! The goal is to get the layers of dead skin off and build collagen. Linda has a beautiful spa room in her home with all of the equipment a normal spa would have. I felt very comfortable. We are lucky to have her in Santa Rosa as she has worked on lots of celebrities (Julia Roberts, Princess Diana) and political figures too in her San Francisco spa. Linda was great. I highly recommend her and want to go see her every 8 weeks if I can swing it. The best news is my husband said he sees fewer lines on my face, and my skin looks as if it's glowing! read more

My skin, which has always been relatively clear, started breaking out in painful, persistent acne. For six months, I tried everything from changing my diet and taking prescription medication to using different skincare products and getting regular facials, but nothing was effective or lasting. By the time I went to see Linda, my face was swollen with bumps, covered with dark marks, and in a constant state of sadness. During our first session, Linda assured me that it could be fixed, and educated me on what was affecting my skin. She spent a lot of time on my procedure and sent me home with a regimen that brought down the active acne. By the time she saw me for my second session a month later, my skin was 70% improved. I have been seeing Linda in San Francisco for less than a year and my skin has never looked so good. For the first time in my 61 years I feel confident every night and morning with the products I am using on my face - they are really working! It is true that Linda does not give you a "spa" facial.
