I'm not aware of all the services this place provides, but I know they do more than just CPR classes.
They do skill checks if you have already done the online training, but they also offer the full in-person class. The class I took was packed to the gills! Nearly 40 people. They combined a BLS and Heartsaver CPR/AED class into one, teaching everyone the BLS way (pulse check). The only difference was that the Heartsaver people could leave without taking the written test afterwards.
Despite a class that was a bit crowded, the instructor managed it well. He was funny and made the hours not seems so long, but still did a good job covering the material and noting what changes had been made to practice guidelines since 2 years ago. The official text was not included in the price, but they provided a free handout.
He did not do one-on-one skill checks, but instead split the group into 2 and had everyone in each group demonstrate skill at the same time - a big timer saver. This place had nearly all newer manikins with the light-up feedback system under the chest near the shoulder - only a few were still clicking away.
This strip-mall place is a bit out of the way in a slightly deserted part of town, but I will definitely keep them in mind in 2 years time. They had a good listing of times that you could sign up for classes and provided more weekend hours than other places I looked into. read more
