Fortunately, John gave me a great foundation and after a few weeks of solo-study I was able to pass. John did a great job of making us in the class think bigger picture. The test itself is all very practical, real world scenarios. The material in the class is very fundamental, but John consistently challenged us to think about how those fundamentals would apply to real life. There was a lot in the course material that was new to me, but by the end of the class it all made perfect sense.

This is a spacious, clean and friendly studio! As a NYC potter/artist with over 20 years of experience behind the wheel, I was pleased to find such an exceptional place here in the Cleveland area to continue my art. The other artists who I have met in the studio are social and inspiring. There is also a little gallery outside the studio that hosts shows or events for artist. Kind of humorous actually. If you can put up with the 45 million Canadian geese that roam the grounds it's not half bad. But the geese do a really good job of crapping over everything including the football fields and the baseball fields. I brought my chocolate lab up here the other night just to chase those rats with wings away. The school should consider doing the same thing as the geese are doing a lot of damage to their grounds. I do regret not buying a home in this school district as it seems like a really nice school to send your kids to have a killer football program and the academics from what I understand are second to none.

Artists Uncorkd communicated to me that I would receive a proof a couple days before the event. Great, all set! Then, something came up and I wasn't able to attend the event. I emailed to ask if I could get a refund and got NO RESONSE, I emailed again and got NO RESPONSE. The easiest thing to do is email someone back. So I wasted the $45 I paid and never got the refund. Even if they emailed back to say they can't refund the money, I would be fine with that, but NO RESPONSE seems intentional. UPDATE: Immediately after writing this review I suddenly got an email saying "you've been refunded, it takes a few days", no apology or explanataion. Wonderful! Would have loved that communication a week ago.
