I still have some muscle soreness and tightness, which is to be expected, but the difference is remarkable. Deb, Dr. Sohrab's assistant, made the entire process incredibly easy. She was always available to answer my questions, walked me through every step, and even provided helpful videos explaining what to expect before and after surgery. As a former professional snowboarder, I've had my share of injuries and surgeries over the years, so I'm not new to the process. Since the beginning of this year, I have been trying to schedule an appointment. Instead of helping me move forward, the assistant told me that Dr. Holamandara would not see me until I had an MRI. She instructed me to ask my primary care physician to order it. That made no sense because the specialist is the one requesting the MRI and should be responsible for providing the appropriate referral or coordinating the necessary steps. Because I had previously seen Dr. Pativanda for the same condition, I was then told that they would contact Dr. Pativanda's office to request the MRI referral. That was over four months ago. Since then, I have called both offices every couple of weeks asking for an update. Dr. Holamandara's office and Dr. Pativanda's office are located directly across from each other in the same building, yet no one seems able to communicate or provide answers. Neither office has followed up with me, returned my calls with a solution, or taken ownership of resolving the issue. The lack of communication, coordination, and accountability has delayed my medical care for months. As a patient, I should not have to spend months chasing down referrals and repeatedly calling multiple offices just to get a simple answer. Patients deserve timely communication, clear guidance, and staff who are willing to help instead of passing responsibility to someone else. I hope this office improves its patient care and communication because no one seeking medical treatment should have to go through this experience.

Dr…read more Klassen has been our go-to doctor for multiple knee and rotator cuff surgeries (including multiple times for my hard tennis-playing husband and for a skiing-related meniscus repair for me). He is also credited with acting immediately after the birth of our son to correct a club foot. Today, the boy is a totally normal 13 year old who can run like the wind. Bottom line: Dr. Klassen knows what his business (he's an expert), is very professional, takes time to explain the procedures, and offers alternatives before recommending surgery. His office is clean and tidy, his staff is superb, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. Ever.
