In 2023 (2 years after service) I started receiving the same bill through the mail and via text for that ONE TIME I came to this location for routine service that should have been covered by insurance. After calling several times I've gotten inconsistent explanations or lack of explanations of why it was supposedly denied by my insurance, then this year someone at some point said it wasn't submitted correctly and they'd try again. After that I started getting mail from my dental insurance company at the time of service stating that this dental practice failed to file the claim in time (90 days), which is why it was denied. Then I started getting mail and texts from this practice that my outstanding balance was adjusted and INCREASED even though no additional services were rendered. This negative review is 100% a reflection of their administrative staff and unprofessional billing practices rather than the dentist I saw. They have not been able to give me an explanation or acknowledge that they have made multiple mistakes along the way. It is now the end of 2024 and this is still not resolved 3 years later. Stay away from this practice!

I have had horrible dental treatment in the past, and have actually been left in pain for years due to that treatment. But, I also have a medical condition that makes my teeth incredibly susceptible to caries. First visit, I went in as an emergent patient, with a dental abscess. The guy up front, he was horrible. I had to make a scene to finally get seen, due to his incompetence. I didn't feel that it bode well, and I was actually within seconds of walking out. But when I was finally taken back it was great. The dentist, Dr. Maria, actually listened to me. We put together a care plan. Today was my 6th visit, and I have to say, I'm impressed. From Gianna at the front desk, to Beth, the amazing hygienist, Sami (sp?) the dental assistant, and Dr. Maria herself, I feel welcomed and cared for. I should mention, the guy who gave that horrible treatment on day one? Gone. The oral surgeon that I had to see in visit two has the bedside manner of a rock (a dull rock at that). He did a great job on the extraction, but don't expect any sort of communication. I will continue to use Aldan Family Dental (specifically Dr. Maria), so long as I live in driving distance!

He felt the treatment plan was excessive and corrected the problem iin one visit. I have not had a problem since. The office was spotless and the staff was courteous and efficient. The filling wasn't properly leveled, which caused discomfort and further problems. Because of this poor work, I had to return and was charged another $200 just to fix the dentist's mistake. Even worse, I had to come back yet again with severe pain a week later and was charged another $123. These follow-up visits were the direct result of the original botched procedure, and I don't think I should have had to pay for them.
