Would l be better off with the chip?" When he was done and gave me the mirror, I literally exclaimed, "It looks AMAZING! It's perfect!" You literally can not see which tooth it is. I am so happy I got that fixed! Also, I think it was New Year's Day in 2017, I had a terrible infection that made half my face swell up. I don't remember the details exactly but I do remember him being available by phone and making sure I got the meds I needed and taken care of quickly. Thanks, Dr C!

I have ALWAYS hated and feared the dentist. Even though I'd never had a cavity in my 29 years,…read moreuntil this year, I was always terrified of the dentist from bad early childhood memories. I'm serious when I say that if I had one more bad dentist experience I probably would've sworn off dentistry all together. Dr. Cabot filled my first two cavities ever and made the experience so easy to deal with. He is an incredibly nice guy and really cares about his patients, as evidenced by his commitment to remove the fear, pain and general apprehension of visiting the dentist. I was terrified that getting my cavity filled was going to be incredibly painful, and I know it can be. But Dr. Cabot made sure that if at any time I was in pain that we would stop and find a way around it. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is truly the best dentist.

20/20 Dentistry is the best dentist office I've EVER been to. Hands down. I recently moved to NY…read moreand am considering taking a trip to Philly every 6 months because I haven't been able to find a dentist office as skilled, patient and caring as this office. Both Dr. Moravian and Dr. Tran are very patient and highly knowledgeable. They don't pressure you and they explain your dental needs in reassuring way. They are the only dentists I trust. I need a lot of work done and Dr. Tran took into consideration the high cost of what I needed, and provided a temporary alternative to keep my teeth from further decaying until I could afford the procedures I needed. Dr. Moravian is very passionate about dental health and it shows through his work. He explained all the modern technology in the office and equipment that he was excited about to come. Even the hygienist is amazing. We had a long conversation about holistic health and the dangers of too much sugar while I received my cleaning. I could go on and on about this office, but I'll just end by recommending everyone to visit 20/20 dentistry. If you were ever afraid of the dentist, this office will completely change your outlook.

Criminals. Stay away. Trust me…read more After our longtime dentist retired, we needed to find a new one. We chose Dr. Petchalonis because we wanted to support a local dentist within walking distance of our home. We were willing to forgo a sleek, modern office for the personalized care we expected from a sole practitioner. Unfortunately, we were completely wrong. This office is the epitome of mismanagement and poor communication. There's constant staff turnover, leading to frequent errors, including mismanaged appointments, incorrectly handled records, and improper billing. Worse, they perform unnecessary procedures and fail to provide clear information about insurance coverage. At my first appointment with Dr. Petchalonis, I was told I had multiple cavities that needed to be addressed, which was surprising since my previous dentist had found none. Despite my hesitation, the procedures were performed, and I was later billed thousands of dollars for work that my insurance didn't cover--without any prior notification. When I disputed the charges, they threatened to send me to collections. Dr. Petchalonis refused to even discuss the issue with me, claiming administrative matters were his staff's responsibility. Such predatory behavior is unacceptable. Avoid this office at all costs if you want to save yourself time, money, and frustration. There are far better, more ethical dental offices available.

The first visit I'm told I have 1-2 cavities. Fine. Had them filled. The next time I returned, I was told I had SIX cavities. I was astonished! But having just gone through a difficult pregnancy where I was vomiting all day every day, I thought, hmm, maybe it's related to that. After an extremely unprofessional experience with the front desk regarding scheduling of so called "needed" fillings, I decided to find another dentist. I decided to hold off on sharing notes from this office to ensure an objective assessment by new dentist. New dentist told me I had no cavities. Interesting. I was annoyed and wanted to leave a review at that time, but decided to let it be. I recently moved out of state and established care with a third dentist who has also told me I have NO cavities. This is more than aggressive dentistry from Petchalonis. This is unethical, money seeking behavior. 100% do not recommend. The other critical reviews on here are also accurate - from an old and dirty office to poor behavior from staff. Look elsewhere!

I have had Invisalign several times in the past, yet my teeth were still a mess. Dr. Tewari showed me how my teeth were crashing down on each other and urged me to fix them before I wore them down further. The level of detail and precision she applied to my case is unmatched. And I cannot believe how great my teeth look. She also does the cleaning herself and applies that same care to the routine work. As a patient of Philly Smiles, you can be completely confident that you will not be talked into unnecessary work, will not be overcharged, and that the environment is absolutely safe and professional. I cannot thank Philly Smiles and Dr. Tewari enough for the care I received during my time in Philadelphia. I will miss this practice immensely. Also, this is NOT the practice that has been shut down by the health department. That would NEVER happen at Philly Smiles.

At one point, I dropped trays on the floor at a friend's house and then forgot the next set of trays at my office before a work trip. When I went in to let them know I had taken a few steps back on my trays given all of these challenges, they give me tools to sterilize the trays that I dropped and help me understand the plan to get back on track.
