    RED FLAG FOR TESLA OWNERS…read more I selected this body shop because they claimed to be a Tesla-approved facility. I explained from the start that I was not at fault in the accident and that insurance would be covering the repair. They told me to let insurance handle it, so I did. They never gave me any estimate, invoice, or notification of any out-of-pocket costs. They went ahead with repairs without my approval for anything not covered by insurance. After nearly 45 days of delays--saying the insurance company "wasn't responding"--I was suddenly told that I now have to pay whatever the insurance won't cover or they won't release my car. This was the first time I heard about any personal charges. Very poor communication and zero transparency. Tesla owners, consider this a major red flag.

They have you sign paperwork before they give you an estimate for work, say they will have to take apart your car as well, before even giving a rough cost. They will tell you there's hidden damage when there clearly isn't. Once the paperwork is signed and your car taken apart good luck getting out the situation. I suggest getting second third opinions before taking your car here even if you just walk in somewhere else with photos. They don't do body repair only replace every single part even if it can be repaired with complete disregard for cost and environmental effects. They claim it's to return to factory specs however I've seen other shops repair to perfection while maintaining cost efficiency. They will submit a ridiculous amount of work to your insurance company & when the insurance company refuses to pay such ridiculous amounts, they will hold your car for months (not even joking) to get the payment from your insurance. They will tell you to pay thousands of dollars if you want your car back and then tell you to ask your insurance for money back, which you most likely will not get. They will tell you your insurance company is taking too long to come see your car, and place blame on appraisers however I've seen other body shops complete many major repairs in just 1-3 weeks, return your vehicle and receive payment shortly after repairs. They have problems with payments because instead of repairing and billing according to industry standards they will go out of their way to bill your insurance a ridiculous amount before work is even complete, feeling they are superior to every other shop. This is not normal. This includes charging abnormal labor rates for the industry, lots of shops will repair according to the maximum labor rates approved by insurance companies. They will not be upfront about repair time, they will tell you 3 weeks and take 3 months. A normal shop might tell you a couple days and then end up taking a few extra days which is common as there may be unforeseen circumstances. They will not check the status on parts before bringing your car in. Your car will sit there waiting for parts with no one working on it. Don't trust a word from reception as they are completely out of the loop and lack knowledge of repair processes and parts status. They will send you updates that are far from accurate giving false hope of timeline. When you text them you can tell different people are answering as some put no effort into their replies and often misspell simple words. They will not even give you an estimate to respray a brand new part as per your request. They will advise the part will need to be installed and other panels blended and then refuse the work rather than just advising their opinion and following customer directions. They advise you to send photos of a brand new bumper for a spray and install quote??????? Clearly avoiding any work that they cannot exacerbate pricing. This is not a customer focused body shop, they will scam you right in front of your eyes. You will end up with thousands of dollars in rental if you have an at fault claim. Once all is said and done, your car will continue to go back for minor repairs and rental will be out of pocket. Their office staff is rude and seriously lack customer service and morals. They don't even care to spell your name or company name correctly on formal paperwork. When you raise any concerns or call more than once or twice you will get yelled at and disrespected. They talk negatively about customers in front of other customers. They talk negatively about each other as well. Beware of positive reviews as they will pick and choose who's repairs to expedite depending on your vehicle, insurance company, or relationship to staff. Doesn't matter who referred you, insurance, a dealership; if you own your car you can fix it wherever you choose, please look elsewhere.
