Personally, I always prefer to go to independent garages that focus on certain brands as opposed to dealerships. Bad experiences in the past have kept me away for good from dealers. After two visits back at LP Europe Motorsport to try to correct the issue, they told me the problem was most likely not a result of their work. Frustrated, I took the car to another mechanic who put it on the hoist and found the issue within 10 minutes. When LP Europe Motorsport was replacing the power steering pump they damaged the turbo outlet hose which resulted in incorrect boost when the engine was calling for it. This caused the poor performance I was experiencing. In addition, the replacement of my parking brake cable resulted in lots of scratches and damage to the interior of my car. Missing plastic pieces of trim, cracked center console and plastic around the shifter that was visibly damaged. When I showed Luis this damage, he just looked at me and shrugged. I'll never go back to LP Europe Motorsport and I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and quality of work. They simply do not care about your vehicle or your safety. I would recommend that anyone planning to take their vehicle here to seriously reconsider. Edit: Vehicle is a 2003 VW Golf TDI.
