They came out to my residence quickly and replaced a faulty crankshaft sensor on my 2004 CLK500, saving me the hassle and cost of a tow. Their pricing was extremely cheap and completely transparent -- I saved over $1,000 compared to what the Mercedes dealership quoted me. Their service advisor, Karina, was incredibly helpful and kept me updated on the technician's arrival. They gave me a 3-hour window and delivered right on time with impressive punctuality. Overall, I highly recommend Miguel's Mobile Mechanic to anyone looking for honest, low-cost, and reliable service for their vehicle. Exceptional experience from start to finish!

Naturally, they discovered a few other issues and were eager to have them fixed at their shop as soon as possible. I reached out to Roadside Wrench, and Jonathan promptly arrived at my place the next day. Jonathan worked efficiently and completed the job in no time. Findlay Honda, however, attempted to charge me an exorbitant amount for this minor repair.

Called up and scheduled an appointment with Jon. Upon his arrival we just knew things were about to trend in the right direction. He has such an incredible personality, is patient and overall, has a down to earth demeanor that is a RARITY (and refreshing to see) in this city. After attempting to "kick" the starter and run diagnostics on the battery, it became evident that both needed to be replaced. The battery was only a few months old, but as is the case sometimes, there is a chance you might end up with a dud. Based on Jon's suggestion, we managed to get a replacement from the nearby auto parts store, and within a couple days, the starter replacement arrived, and Jon not only installed it but even helped change the oil in my mom's car as well and answer some of her questions and concerns. We will definitely continue to use, as well as recommend Jon to friends and family. Thanks Jon! BTW: The Rooster, with his leather jacket on, says hi. :D

My driver's side rear tire blew out one night, and the tow truck driver couldn't change it because of the damaged lug nut. Therefore, I had my vehicle towed to Discount Tire, which couldn't do anything and recommended I take it to Brake Masters. I had my car towed again to Brake Masters and spoke with Cassady at the front desk, who was pleasant. I also talked to the manager, Chris, who was equally delightful. This location was spotless, and I left and returned later. The mechanic replaced the lug nut, put on the spare tire, and charged me $65.51.I would return to this location in a heartbeat!

I chose Brake Masters because they offered appointments for oil changes, but the experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. I arrived at 8:50 AM for my 9:00 AM appointment and was told they were already running 45 minutes behind and that I had to leave my car there. I returned at 10:30 AM, then again at 11:30 AM, and my car still was not done. Waiting over 3 hours for a basic oil change is unacceptable, especially when I could clearly see my car sitting untouched for long periods of time. After finally completing the oil change, they told me I needed rear brakes and had a leaking CV axle, providing quotes totaling over $800. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion from Mr. Brake. Mr. Brake inspected the same items and told me my brakes are still at 70% and do not need replacement. They also confirmed the CV axle was in great condition with no leak at all. The only thing they noticed was a little oil underneath the car, likely spilled during the oil change. Otherwise, my car is in excellent shape. This experience honestly made me question whether they take advantage of customers -- especially women who may admittedly not know a lot about cars -- by recommending unnecessary repairs. A trustworthy shop would have simply said the brakes were wearing normally and should be checked again at my next service. Instead, I was pressured into over $800 of repairs I didn't actually need. I will not be returning and strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major work from Brake Masters. Thankfully, Mr. Brake earned my trust and future business.

Edgar must have been going through something personal when he came to help me. That's all I can…read morethink of to try to empathize and understand why he would treat me and my fiancee the way he did. I will do my best to be impartial and lay out the facts, but I'll be honest when I say that it does anger me to remember that I put my fiancee through this experience back in August. To begin, his communication is not clear in the slightest. I had to keep asking questions to gain clarity, and it seemed like I annoyed him by asking questions. He would often respond with one word responses or include ellipsis (...). When we met for the diagnosis, I shook his hand and gave a big smile. I asked if I could get him a drink or help him with anything as it was a hot August day. He hardly made eye contact with me and didn't smile. He figured out the issue with my car and I paid him $80 cash for the diagnosis (a reasonable/average price). Though he wasn't the kindest to me, I was already in for the diagnosis fee which he said goes towards labor, so I decided to move forward with labor. We spoke on the phone for a little when I asked him what his availability is for the labor, and how much it might cost. He said verbatim, "I don't know like $400?" and struggled to give me a day for availability, so I offered to give him a moment to think about it and text me when he figures it out. In text on Yelp I asked him what his hourly labor rate is to which he replied $120/hr. The day he is available I am working, but he says that's fine and that he can work on it while I'm at work. He shows up to do the work and he seems to be in a worse mood than the first time. I ask if I can get him anything before I leave for work, but he says no with his back turned towards me. I introduce him to my fiancee so she can assist him with anything he might need. While I'm at work, she's texting me that he's making her feel uncomfortable, so I tell her he might be having a bad day and ask her to bring him a cold drink. She does. He asks to use the bathroom so she takes him to our apartment's community restroom. He comments on the quality of the apartments and that they must be expensive. Uh oh. Time for payment. I'm at work so I'm not able to respond very quickly, but I ask him how much I owe him, to which he says $400. At $120/hr, the math didn't add up. He demands $400 and says he said that's how much it was on the phone. Will someone please explain in what world I ask for his hourly rate if it was clear to me that it was going to be a flat $400? We spoke on the phone a little to which he starts yelling and cussing at me while I'm just trying to gain some clarity on this obvious misunderstanding. My fiancee is texting me that she is extremely uncomfortable being around him, so to avoid any further issues or discomfort, I tell him I will pay what he is demanding. I tell him I will send him $320 to which he starts raging at me again. When he calms down a little I explained that he originally told me on Yelp that the diagnostic fee will go towards the labor. He reluctantly accepts after checking our Yelp conversation. I send my fiancee down one last time with the money in cash (to be nice because I know he's not claiming any of this on his taxes). I apologize for the misunderstanding, even though I still think the misunderstanding was his fault within his poor communication and customer service. He says "lose my number" after he still got what he demanded for. Screenshots attached. I am giving him 2 stars because the work he did was great. The part he installed has held up and is still working great to this day. Thank you for your service. If you were going through something personal then, I hope things have turned around for the better. All love!
