So, we replaced our AC and Heater at the same time. Their initial offering was at the budget model from Goodman but I didn't want a system that would only last 10 years. I wanted something that woud pair with my replaced Trane system and last over 25+ years. They recommended Amana as their high end and it has a lifetime warranty. However, I was not told I needed to register these units within 60 days to keep that extended warranty. So luckily, I read the fine print and completed that. Its almost been two months and the systems are working well! I highly recommend this team for any installations and repairs.

We had the go around with a different vendor to fix our AC before calling A-1. Racked up $1,200 to…read moreadd Freon, replace a control board, and then replace a motor which wouldn't come in 5-7 business days. They put in a rescue motor which didn't blow any cold air whatsoever. Alan from A-1 came was was SO great! He asked for all that had happened, and then slowed down and explained how an AC works, what possible things could go wrong, and invited us to watch as he worked so we could learn. To try and keep this short, Alan discovered we did not need Freon, the original command board was completely fine and reinstalled our original command board so the previous vendor could come get their new board. Alan also found out that the complete motor wasn't broken but rather than just a component. Lastly, the rescue motor had the wires crossed so it was pulling air in rather than pushing. He had cold air blowing within 20 min of work while the other vendor took 9 hours and no air ever came out. By the next day our AC was completely fixed for half the price. Due to Alan's notes, and giving back the new control board, we were able to receive a full refund from the prior company. The owner also reached out afterwards to see how everything went and make sure there was nothing else needed. They really went the extra mile at every opportunity! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Honest and trustworthy company!!

Sherry purchased an HVAC maintenance contract from Perfect Plumbing Heating and Air last year…read more Since she works an early shift, she asked me if I could meet the technicians for her service appointment this morning. She said they had committed to be there sometime between 8 and 11, but had told her they would try to be there at 8:00. This morning at about 7:45 AM Sherry received an email and a text message saying the technician was on his way, and both included the technician's photo. At precisely 8:00 AM, the truck pulled up to Sherry's house. I was greeted by a clean cut and professional young man named Chris, who introduced me to his trainee Colton. The first thing Chris asked is if I was OK with where he had parked his truck. Chris explained they would need access to Sherry's HVAC unit, the compressor, and the thermostat. They laid out a mat in front of the HVAC unit to catch any debris that may escape during cleaning, and when they came inside for me to show them the thermostat location, they put protective covers on their shoes. They presented me with an iPad for signatures authorizing the work they were performing, said the service would take from one to one and a half hours and that they didn't need me to stick around, and that they would leave a written report on Sherry's counter when they left. As I left, Colton was *wiping down* the inside access door of Sherry's HVAC. I'm a process guy, so when a company exhibits process perfection in their customer interaction I am confident that they will follow that process even if I'm not there to watch, and that everything else in the back of house is in order.
