The "issue" he diagnosed wasn't even the actual issue. It was a bad wire, and clogged drain. Not a thermostat. Had we listened to him, we would have paid close to $1,000 and still not have had the answer. The tech was the one "freakin" on his so called diagnosis and pricing. Only call these guys if you want a tech that's doesn't actually care and treats you like a bad mechanic only there for the upsell. Editing to reply to the owner: I have no interest in training your technician how to not be a slime ball. You need to teach your techs how to be honest and more detailed, not just jump to the incorrect conclusion because it's a hot day. I know it was hot. I was the one suffering in my horribly hot house. The thermostat that he said needed replacing is working perfectly well. We had a neighbor with HVAC experience figure out the problem. Pretty bad when someone who left the business 10 years ago was better at the job than your paid tech. Even worse- me and ChatGPT figured out the clogged drain part. And I am not a handy person. If AI can do a better job than your technician- that's saying a whole hell of a lot.

Told me several potential causes for my slide not working and did tell me that the only way to know for sure would involve taking it a part. Huge difference from being told that it needed $2350 in parts up front and $1200 or more in labor, and they never even opened the slide. Made the appointment, two hours later they called to tell me it wasn't the frame, or the motors or the tracks, but a cable that costs about $125. The tech and Scott explained every detail and my final bill was less than $650! Huge difference from a company that obviously cares about customer service and not just the bottom line. Had an additional issue that involved a bad motor. Same fantastic service, less than 600 for the repair and on my way a day later!
