This is a long review - Cliff notes version - Fantastic service!!…read more A leak from our irrigation system allowed water to enter through a vent in the foundation and into the crawl space. There is moisture down the wall under the vent, and some dirt that was forced down there by the water pressure on the flower bed. We weren't sure how bad the damage was, and tried to help dry the crawl space by putting a small fan down there. But, I thought we'd better call someone who knows how to evaluate the damage and make suggestions and/or repair the damage. So we called Beacon. Rich answered the phone and arranged for us to get a visit from him that very afternoon. I was out of the house, but my son (38) was there when Rich came out. My son was very impressed with Rich's willingness to go down into the crawlspace and evaluate the issues. He said Rich was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Not only that, he was ethical enough to tell my son that because the irrigation issue was fixed, and there was really no damage that needed fixing, all was being taken care of well enough. I had imagined that he would be saying that he needed to put holes in the wall and bring giant fans to allow everything to dry, costing an arm and a leg, but instead, he came and gave us a no-cost evaluation and recommended we keep doing what we were doing (just a household fan and a little clean-up). I had electric baseboard heating, which I hadn't used much in years, and a wood stove. I'm retired now and my significant other passed away a few years ago. Keeping the house warm was becoming more of a chore for me so I wanted to look into mini split systems. No Bogus came out when I called and gave me a decent estimate. But truly, I went with him because he us a local, independent contractor. He and his electrician got in and out in a day. Excellent workmanship and job well done. Now, I am comfortable and not dependent on my wood stove to keep from freezing. I'd definitely recommend them.

Told me several potential causes for my slide not working and did tell me that the only way to know for sure would involve taking it a part. Huge difference from being told that it needed $2350 in parts up front and $1200 or more in labor, and they never even opened the slide. Made the appointment, two hours later they called to tell me it wasn't the frame, or the motors or the tracks, but a cable that costs about $125. The tech and Scott explained every detail and my final bill was less than $650! Huge difference from a company that obviously cares about customer service and not just the bottom line. Had an additional issue that involved a bad motor. Same fantastic service, less than 600 for the repair and on my way a day later!
