I asked for some fries and he said they ran out of fries. Me personally, I love some wings and fries. Can't forget about fish and chips, but that's more of a Dublin thing! I don't understand how a chicken spot bar that closes at 1:30 AM doesn't have fries ready, but that's just a story for another day. Because of that, I had to go to a second spot on my way to work. It was a food truck on the side of the road. It had lights so you could still see it, but it was kind of hidden. Come to find out, it's a hidden gem! I got some Dominican loaded fries which had shredded chicken, a bunch of different sauces, some peppers, and of course, fries. I was glad that I made this stop, but I pulled out my cash and I only had a $100 bill on me because it was Friday, it was payday, and I had cashed my check. The guy didn't have change, and so all I had was nine dollars in my pocket besides that one bill. I told him I would come back tomorrow evening. He had a surprised look on his face, but I said, "I work right down the road and I promise you I'll be back before I start work." He trusted me. I gave him my nine dollars and he said okay and gave me my food. As I walked away, it gave me a little bit more faith in humanity. It's amazing how someone that never even knew me, and never saw me before, actually trusted me to come back and give them cash to pay for my food. I did go there the next day and it was a warm welcome, of course. I paid him what I owed him with a little bit extra, only because he had faith in me coming back. I highly recommend this place! Being a truck driver, you always find good food spots along the road, and sometimes you find out if the food is really good or bad while you're going down the road, if you catch my drift. This place is very good; the food settled very well and I definitely give it a hard 4.5 out of 5, only because you cannot see the truck from the road.
