The space is GORGEOUS with a focus on modernism infused with equal parts past and present. But what made our visit so memorable was the ridiculously friendly and attentive staff. It unequivocally did. Thank you all again for such a wonderful time. You made our trip to Lima that much better!

The handmade chocolate Shoub cookie dough was a hard decision to leave for next time, along with the captain crunch ice cream which just seems like something you should save for a cheat day. I ended up with a trio with the blueberry cobbler and the peach cobbler which he drizzled with homemade reduced caramel sauce that I watch to make in a pan in steam off. In the third scoop I added to the party was some handmade pecan pie ice cream. I would have to say personally that was my favorite. The caramel sauce on top of it was absolute overkill. You won't leave this place wanting or unfulfilled. Looks like they've taken over four different slots on Miss LIMA's main drag close to the convention center. They've got it in rehabbed not only Basinger's and another location next-door with a torn out wall door, that ends up being the microbrewery. But the next two doors down have been combined to be the restaurant and ice cream shop. They're open for business right now and also making homemade cinnamon rolls every morning which you can pick up at 12 PM when the doors open. They melt a fresh butter cream topping over those when you walk out the door. Don't let them last too long I'm sure there's one with your name on it!

I do come here on occasion, mostly because it sells items I cannot find in my local grocery stores in town like mojo, Cuban coffee, and other items necessary for me to make food from my culture. Meijer is kinda like Walmart, just nicer. It sells clothes, home decor, garden, pet food and items, and has a drug store. The supermarket is rather large and has a huge flower section. I enjoy shopping here, the only issue I have is with their pickup. It is handled by Shipt. The one time I tried it, they postponed the pickup 4 times! And the last time it was done last minute after I had already made the trip. Not everyone lives a short drive away. If I drove 40 minutes, I better have my items.
